I looked up a bunch of groomers for my puppy and definitely wanted someone personable and caring. I checked out Yelp reviews and loved the feedback I read about Nancy. It didn't hurt that she was within walking distance from where I lived. Nancy met us outside and introduced herself to Milo. Milo always has his guard up when he first meet someone and thankfully Nancy passed his smell test because he started licking her shortly after, lol. She serviced Milo for about an hour and text me 10 minutes before she finished as a heads up. I was super nervous but as soon I saw him I felt relieved. He looked like an entirely different puppy, lol. Nancy explained that Milo was very active and she wasn't able to complete everything the way she wanted. I completely understood and was still very satisfied with the results. Hopefully Milo will feel more comfortable during his 2nd visit. I plan on returning to Nancy for Milo's grooming services. Really upsetting that once this groomer built up her clients list so then all of sudden decided she couldn't groomer my pandemic puppy. The cut wasn't anything too amazing, a step up from just giving my puppy a buxx cute. I would have understanded if the groomer explained it as she is getting up there in age and doesn't have the stamina that is required from a younger puppy while groomering since she does it by herself but for a groomer to charge over $100 (including tip) I think there are tons of people who can provide this service for a fraction of the cost. This doesn't even cover having their anus expressed which most groomers include in their grooming services since small breeds of dogs tend to need to have this service performed to them. read more
