They always include the cutest pictures of my boy, and he looks genuinely happy in every one. You can tell the staff really gets to know each dog's personality. My puppy is naturally very anxious and nervous in new situations, but the team has been incredibly patient, kind, and attentive with him. Rather than treating every dog the same, they tailored his experience to meet *his* needs, and that has made such a difference. The thoughtful notes on his report cards make it clear how much they genuinely care about him. Petco sold me a fish they injured trying to catch. We didn't know it was injured at the time. I have vital care so I got a 20% off deal and used our 5 dollar monthly allowance that you get for being a vital care member. but the fish died within 5 mins and we had to turn around and drive back. But the vital care messed up the exchange process which made it so the fish exchange was no longer free but 2 dollars extra. so we canceled the exchange and we will cancel our vital membership. I updated to a 3 star for the service provided the second day, but the first experience and prior experiences prevent me from honestly reviewing any higher. 2 stars seemed too low and discrediting of the staff on my second visit, and 4 stars seemed too high of a rating for such poor service received on the first visit.
