It was a gorgeous day for our Valencia Sound Orchid Club to visit Flamingo Gardens today in Davie. This was my first time here. This is a wildlife sanctuary filled with amazing birds, peacocks, flamingos, as well as magnificent grounds filled with ancient trees of all varieties, orchids, succulents, cactus. We took a guided tram ride through the thick of it which was about a half hour and walked through a butterfly pavilion. There's live music and areas to sit. It's a photographer's paradise. I loved the serenity. I'm amazed at all the beauty surrounding us in the middle of all the new construction going on. Thank goodness the animals and plants have this sanctuary.

Great gardens, animals and included tram ride around the back of the 50 acres and butterfly garden. There are a ton of different trees and flowers across the property in addition to birds and gators. We really enjoyed the afternoon here and there is pretty of shade for the hot summer days as well. We spent about 3 hours here and could have taken longer since we skipped a few exhibits this time and rode the tram. They also have a snack bar and gift shop.

Attended the winter wonderland Extravaganza with family and friends. Wonderful show of holiday lights with many photo opportunities. Live music, s'mores station, Santa and much more. The park is beautiful. Looking forward to visiting during the day. I do feel the price is a little high for a family of five adults.

A Hidden Gem of South Florida's Natural Beauty! Flamingo Gardens is one of those rare places that feels like stepping into a little slice of paradise. It's part botanical garden, part wildlife sanctuary, and all-around a must-see for anyone visiting or living in South Florida. From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by lush tropical plants, towering trees, and the sound of native birds. The flamingos are, of course, the stars of the show -- elegant, colorful, and surprisingly friendly. But there's so much more to see: butterflies, turtles, otters, peacocks, and even alligators, all cared for in a way that feels educational and respectful. The narrated tram tour is a great way to learn about the history of the gardens and the variety of native and exotic plants growing here. Families will love it, but it's also peaceful enough for a quiet stroll or a relaxing day date. The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about conservation and the animals. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Flamingo Gardens is a beautiful reminder of how special Florida's natural world really is.

This place is wonderful. The birds are so cool. Such an amazing location. Definitely would be a cool place. If you had a wedding the flamingo were all there. The birds were wild. It was so nice to see them out. Lots of peacocks everywhere there in the trees, walking all over the place it was really beautiful.

Wonderful place lots of birds!!!! Highly recommended for adults and children!!! ................

The most amazing flamingo garden in Davie! I've visited this place many times, and it's a beautiful garden with lots of flamingos, peacocks, and other animals and birds. It's perfect to visit with kids, family, friends, or even alone to explore the beautiful nature. They have live music on weekends, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The price is affordable, and there is always parking available, even on busy weekends.

I actually thought this was one of the best small zoo experience I've been to. The tram is free and you get a 25 minute tour of the estate. It's beautiful and they do a really good job keeping the place pretty. There are flamingos, turtles, and birds of different types. Peacocks walking everywhere - there is even an albino one! Private lot for the Gardens - fits maybe 20-30 cars

Flamingo Gardens has much to offer. It's a 60 acre botanical garden and wildlife sanctuary. It features tropical and sub-tropical plants from around the world. I enjoyed seeing an all of the orchids that were in bloom. Make sure to see the Wildlife encounter that takes place there times a day. They showcased a baby gator and an owl while I was there. The wildlife sanctuary is home to the largest collection of Florida native wildlife in the state. They have a good sized gift shop and snack bar. For food, they have smoothies, cold sandwiches, hot dogs, chili and nachos . Flamingo Gardens has tropical plants for sale as well.

We've lived in Florida for 4 years and have heard about Flamingo gardens but never had the opportunity to visit. We decided to bring the kids here over the Christmas holiday season as the weather is much more comfortable for outdoor adventures activities. Today (12/29/25) was no exception. Flamingo gardens is a 60 acre wildlife and botanical sanctuary. If you have a few hours to kill, the $24 admission is worth it. It's a not for profit organization founded in 1927 and what started as an Orange grove, it's still going strong today evolving into a nature and wildlife preserve. Grounds are beautiful and there is a team that is included with admission. You can also feed the flamingos and buy flamingo food at ticketing for $1. Lots to see so come and enjoy a day with nature.

Tonight Flamingo Gardens hosted the Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland extravaganza. Paid $24 to wonder through the tropical oasis with live birds in their cages surrounded by lit Christmas displays. Took about 45 minutes on foot to see everything. The two parking lots fill up quickly and recommend a later time slot unless you want a bunch of little kids running everywhere. They had a few food trucks but nothing spectacular. Bathroom pavilion at the back of the park. Fun time here with friends.

Fun evening with friends looking at the beautiful Christmas light displays with plenty of photo ops. Although, the price of $24 per person was a little steep for admission.

This is a beautiful garden park, which has been here for many many years. They have a nice tram ride, which takes you around the park where you see beautiful trees, and flowers. They also have wildlife talks where you get to see some of the wildlife in the park. you also see flamingos and peacocks while strolling through the park. there's much history here and it's a nice way to spend the day.

There was no staff out in the farm to ask if we could so we just walked around. The cats are very friendly and so are the goats. The pens were clean, with fresh water and food. It was hot and there were a lot of flies but it's to be expected here in south Florida during the summer on a farm. In the back of the property, although not related to the farm I don't think, were horse stables. We meandered over there and said hello to them in their pens. A small farm but very cute.
