There are no signs or instructions telling you where paint belongs, so we naturally brought it back to our table. Instead of politely explaining the process, the owner yelled at us and snapped, "You're not the only ones here!" Funny thing... we actually were the only customers there. The entire studio feels disorganized, and unfortunately, the owner's people skills are even more scattered. Her manners are almost their own form of comic relief--except no one was laughing. A little kindness, basic organization, and clear signage would go a long way. Pottery is supposed to be a relaxing, creative experience, not one where customers get scolded for not reading signs that don't exist. I won't be back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere. One star.

Amanda was very nice and made the class comprehensible as it was intimidating at first sight, insert "this is fine" fire meme, lol. I was invited for a spontaneous night out and our class was an intimate gathering of 6 on a Saturday evening. I loved the intimacy of it and there was enough space for social distancing so I guess depending on the night, you wouldn't need to reserve your spot a few days before. You can easily check their class schedule online. Unfortunately, there was a little mix up as the painting that was originally reserved was for a beach setting but due to a unforeseen staffing emergency, they switched it up. Amanda was very willing to simultaneously teach the beach and the jelly but I am glad we stuck with the latter, as it was more of a challenge and I am pleased with my interpretation. I am definitely looking forward to coming back because who doesn't love a chill vibe where you can express yourself artistically with no judgment, your own spirits and great company?

We finally decided to try it out and honestly, I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and patient with us. That was huge because we definitely had a LOT of questions about the rug making process lol. Nobody ever made us feel rushed or annoying, and they explained everything really well. I also loved the huge variety of yarn colors they had to choose from. Besides tufting, they also offer pottery and other fun activities, which makes the whole place feel really creative and unique. The studio itself was such a vibe too. They offered complimentary drinks while we worked on our rugs, which was a really nice touch, and they even have a little coffee shop inside where you can buy coffee and other specialty drinks while you're there. The overall experience was awesome. They walk you through everything step by step, so even beginners can do it without feeling overwhelmed. I also really liked that if you don't finish your rug, you can leave it there and come back another day to continue working on it. 1000% recommend this place if you're looking for something different and fun to do!

We hosted a group business retreat here with 20 people getting to do candle-making *or* pottery and…read moreit was a really wonderful time. For the candle-making, it was a unique experience because everyone got to decorate their candle container, choose a scent AND color for their wax, and then decorate the actual wax too! There were an abundant amount of decor options as well. It was a really artistic and creative candle-making class compared to the general white candle/white container classes, and everyone got to take home a nice product the same day! I participated in the pottery class, and having done pottery classes before, this is truly the best one I've been to yet. Ruben was the most patient and flexible pottery instructor I've met. We had the opportunity to throw 3 pieces of clay, and everyone in our group was able to successfully make 3 full objects. This is mostly because our instructor was able to fix and guide us through most mistakes/issues (holes, breaks, lopsided walls, etc). After throwing the objects on the wheel, we were able to add handles/lids/accessories, add decoration with stamps, or carve/fix our pieces with more carving tools. This was also pretty unique for a pottery wheel class. After the pieces are finished, you can take them home as clay decor, fire them for $2, or glaze them during a separate glazing day for $10. Overall an extremely well run and well-taught art playhouse and we highly recommend it for groups/individuals! Hoping to return soon for their rug tufting class too!

We did a resin class and the resin scent is less than others however if you're incredibly sensitive to smells (like me) you might want to bring a mask and glasses (NOTE I was the ONLY person who was effected so it's not the norm!!!) the resin did make my eyes burn slightly like cutting an onion. Jasmin walks your through every step and gives you ideas. You can pick between a cutting board, serving tray, coasters, or a large letter. We chose cutting f boards and you can even have it engraved. It was super fun and easy (Jasmin also makes sure you don't mess up if not she'll help fix it!). This place offers various experiences so you can select what you like and even has a group that meets a few times through the year where they do items that have never been done so it's a new experience for everyone. Definitely a go to if you love arts and crafts
