Can't say enough about this place when family and friends ask me where the local Starbucks is located. Why give $6 to the big boys when you can get way better coffee for less at Clockface? As an espresso fanatic myself, with both Rocket and La Marzocco machines sitting at home, I will only drink outside coffee at Clockface. It is an extremely cute spot at the heart of Bay Ridge where the busiest of busy people grind their way to the MTA every morning. They continuously get the job done and the wait times are never long. I always rotate between drip coffees, Yama cold brew, or a dirty matcha. I have yet to be served a bad cup of brew. You won't be getting a swan latte art but you will get a warm cup of hot (or cold) delicious bev. every. single. time.

Balthazar croissant and a flat white

I ordered a flat white and a croissant and it came out so quickly after I ordered. The flat white was a proper flat white, size and everything. They offer seating outside and inside and I opted to sit outside. The best 15 minutes to start my day. It seems like they have a lot of regulars as everyone seemed to know each other. A cute atmosphere.

This unassuming little shop - passers-by might mistake it for a blue-slatted shed - is in the upper tier of coffee experiences, particularly in this neighborhood. The limited outdoor seating space is a chill place to veg on a warm weekend afternoon, and while the chairs aren't overly comfortable there are a few pillows to mitigate that drawback. The staff members are committed and the pressed sandwiches are tasty. Keep their loyalty card in your wallet - you'll probably be back.

    Lavender latte. Perfectly perfect!

This is by far my favorite place for coffee. It's so good, it's addictive! Everything about their latte is superior compared to everyone else. From the temperature, milk to espresso ratio, froth density, froth ratio. As Martha Stewart would say, it's perfectly perfect! I travel from far far away, an hour away to be exact. It worth the travel time and every penny. If you ever want to franchise or expend your business to another borough, please let me know as I am super interested. I love your coffee so much I want to be a part of it. When is the marshmallow latte coming back?!

    The One Tof Cookie!

This place is solid. I'm just moved to Bay Ridge, so I'm trying out new coffee shops has been on top of my todo list. Here is why I recommend Clockface Coffee to anyone in the area. Coffee: Solid. You're not going to get burnt-tasting coffee here (Yes, Starbucks, I'm referring you). Smooth, bold, excellent. I always get mine with a splash of oat milk and let me tell you--what a way to start the day. Food: Alright--truth be told, I would never purchase food from a coffee shop--just not my thing. That noted, I have a huge sweet tooth, so naturally, I had to try their cookies. I had a One Tof Cookie. Oh. My. Lord. This cookie has milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and a generous layer of toffee. Sugary trifecta--dreams do come true. I am drooling just thinking about it. These don't last long, so if you see one--snag it. Snag two! You'll thank me later. Staff: Everyone is always on top of their game, even when it gets jam-packed on weekends. Sean is always nice, helpful, and welcomes you with a smile. The staff here knows how to make guests feel welcomed. So yeah. If you're a coffee snob like myself, give Clockface Coffee a go. You'll start off your morning the right way with a quality coffee and a scrumptious cookie.

Came in during weekend morning, coffee shop was jammed packed with customers. Shop is small and popular some customers waited outside in the cold for their order since there's really no place to stand inside. Ordered the popular Marshmallow Latte and watched the Barista torched the marshmallow in front of me- that was cool. Got my latte and found a seat near the window to enjoy my drink. Latte taste okay, I liked it; though doesn't have much flavor aside from the toasted marshmallow. Overall, a very popular coffee spot in the neighborhood

Hands down the best coffee in Brooklyn! The staff is excellent and always welcoming, making our local Bay Ridge coffee shop always feel like home.

Always one to try out a new place, I stepped into Clockface Coffee on my Saturday morning errand run. The bright blue paint and the giant COFFEE on the exterior of the shop really caught my attention. Once inside, the decor, cleanliness and calm vibe made me glad I stopped by. I got a simple drip coffee and it was served quickly by the barista at the counter. The coffee was hot, strong and the coffee cups were adorned with cute, hand stamped logos. In an area that is seeing an emergence of young professionals, students and foodies, this is a perfect spot to stop in for coffee or tea break. The also had small tables and a street facing bar ideal for work and studying. While I did not go for a fancier option, I did overhear the barista discussing delicious sounding hand crafted drinks to patrons. I was also offered a loyalty card to come back, with my tenth drink being free. This was a great way to not only increase exposure and business in a new shop, but make customers feel valued. I will definitely be back :)

I ordered avocado toast with eggs and a pastry. The only real positive was the bread itself, which was fresh, large, and actually tasted good. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. Although the avocado seemed less generic than standard store-bought guacamole, the taste was not good. The eggs were terrible -- they looked very unappetizing, tasted awful, and appeared nothing like the photo shown on Grubhub. The same photo also showed a small side salad, but no salad was included. I requested chili oil, and that was missing as well. The added cheese had virtually no flavor, so overall the dish felt careless, incomplete, and extremely unsatisfactory. I also checked the box requesting utensils, but no utensils or napkins were included. However, to be clear, this review is not about forgotten utensils. It is about the overall lack of quality, attention to detail, and customer care. The pastry was another culinary failure. It was sold under the French name -"Pan Au Raisin" but it was nothing like what real "Pain Aux Raisins " supposed to be, it was bland, greasy, oily and missing the traditional custard base plus it was delivered in an undersized paper envelope that left the food exposed, a clear violation of basic sanitary standards for food transport. Most importantly, this order caused me stomach pain and GI upset. This was the only food I had eaten in a 24-hour period, and more than 24 hours later I still felt unwell. The owner's reply to my original review was patronizing, dismissive, and refused to take any real accountability. Instead of addressing the food quality issues, the missing items, the poor packaging, and the physical reaction I had to the order, the response tried to reduce the entire problem to utensils and push the conversation into private email. I am keeping this public so other customers can make an informed decision. I wanted to support a new local business, but the bad taste, poor execution, misleading presentation, lack of care, and dismissive management made that impossible. Based on this experience, I would not order again and would not recommend this place to friends or family.
