Once your contract is signed the communication ends. I thought I'd be safe working with them since it is a Costco vendor but nope... Sales/design rep was very patient and came up with a great design. But order was severely delayed and communication was poor with hardly any follow up. Installers are independent contractors and luckily mine was good but I'd prefer working with a company that uses its own in house crew. Calls to the customer service rep went unanswered and the owner said she'd call back but never did. The quality is only ok so really if the customer service is so lacking I don't see much value. Too bad since I have several more closets to redo and this test project was such a headache. Everyone told me to use California Closets which is a little more expensive but offers great service. read more

I found these guys through a Facebook ad. I never heard of them before but their photos were absolutely stunning on the website. The owner of the company dropped by my house and gave me an amazing vision of what my master closet and all my other closets could be used for. He designed the closets in my living room and showed us some 3D renderings. After a few edits, we went out to the showroom in Bethel to pick our final options and finishes. Left our deposit, got an install date and the carpenters showed up to my house. These guys are amazing! They work so clean and they took their time to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. It is absolutely amazing to see his vision come to life in such a short period of time. I've worked with a competing company in the past and they can not compare to Closet Factory. I've got to say one of the worst experiences by far I've ever had. I'm sad to say that there wasn't one positive note to this experience. Starting with signing the quote. The were supposed to charged me that day but waiting two full weeks, then I had to call to follow up. My install date was moved out several times without communication to leave me without a closet for an entire months post moving in. When they came finally for the new date, they didn't finish and added another week on to the time frame. There was no pre-call to confirm people were coming. They showed up whenever they felt like it. Additionally they ended up damaging the system as you can see in the photos and the owner said, I was getting a little much, by asking him to fix it. I still have idea of they are planning to fix this but I plan to contact everyone I can to make them. Oh and I paid over 11k for this! read more

Mary Ellen and I first connected in mid 2021 to design and price my walk in closet. Having just finished remodeling my primary bedroom, this was to be the final stage. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I needed to put the project on hold, but asked Mary Ellen to hold the draft plan. Closet factory installed 6 closet systems for us. On the 6th job they scratched our newly refinished wood floors, they promised to take care of the damage then changed their minds and refused to. Instead I was offered a belt rack for my inconvenience. This company is a disgrace, they show no loyalty to their repeat clients, they prefer to insult your intelligence with old fashioned high pressure selling tactics instead. Most important- I do not recommend doing business with this company! The only reason I even give a star is because our closet designer, Kiara, was so easy to work with and is very talented. Also, we are happy with the end result of the closet. The owner, Nazar, does not care about his customers happiness and satisfaction. We had many issues with communication, scheduling and overall smoothness with install. The owner did not care about me having to take a day off work unnecessarily (because of their scheduling mistake), and all the aggravation, frustration and inconvenience we experienced. He only tooted his own horn about getting the job done (which again, failed to understand that all he did was fulfill what we signed up for). I used to work for a different location of this company so I went with them based on my experience at a different location, even though I knew that they were quite a bit overpriced. What a difference a different owner makes! Very bad experience here. Extremely rude owner, almost twice the price of their competition that uses the same exact materials... and changed the contract after it was signed (was not able to deliver what I ordered). Took three trips to finish installation that still is not what was agreed on. Fraudulently charged my credit card after they stopped responding to emails about the project. "It's a process" and we went through the process that ultimately provided us with a master walk in closet that we are happy with. If you truly believe everything will be perfect remember IT'S 2020! Our experience was very pleasant and we received what we asked for. For the price we paid the results were middle of the road so don't expect perfection at the cheapest price. As you would expect like everyone else Closet Factory is in business to make money, remember that. You can go to one of the big box store or online and order the components to build a closet but remember to save a few hundred dollars you loose the craftsmanship and warranty backing that they provide.
