She answered all my questions and provided suggestions for supporting my son. We've gone to other pediatricians and she was the first pediatrician that had patience and empathy for my toddler son that gets scared of doctor's offices. She let him put the stethoscope on his chest, and she pointed to him where to put it. She had light up toys to distract him and let him play with. I've never had a doctor that prepared or patient. We will continue going to Flourish Family Medicine. There were a lot of forms to fill out before the appointment which took up a lot of time, but it did provide the doctor with a lot of information, so I appreciated it.

Check! * Immediate treatment and medication for a terrible allergic reaction to a spider bite in my cheek? After my childs appointment the doctor informed me she couldnt be my childs doctor because I was disrespectful to the staff. I asked for an example as i know i didnt say anything today and i havent been there at all in over a year. I was told there were notes from other interactions as well. As this is the first time i had heard about it, i tried to ask questions. Can you provide me an example of what i have said or done that was disrespectful? What if my husband brings our child from now on? Is it just you or can my child see others here? I was told they couldnt see any of the pediatrics there and even having my husband bring them wouldnt change things. I was not provided any specific examples of what i had done wrong that was so disrespectful they refused to see my child anymore. I asked to speak with a supervisor to understand the concerns. Again i havent been there in over a year and this is rhe first time anyone has mentioned an issue. The supervisor refused to talk to me, but when the doctor came back she said she could see my child but that she was documenting the issue and i would receive a write up. I had to ask them 3 times before they attended to me. People who came after me were attended to before me. This is after canceling my first appointment on Nov 12th just a few hours before the appointment. They just texted me on the morning of the appointment saying my appointment is canceled and I had to call them back twice before I got another appointment and that was more than a month away on Dec 16th. I just saw another review for Dr. Goldsmith that says that she does not show up for appointments and is bad with following up on patients. The reason I went for and the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy was not sent despite calling and letting them know twice. There's no access to the doctor once you are seen. It's also the doctor's responsibility to make sure this is done and it does not seem like they care. After I called and left a message the second time the medical assistant called me and literally shouted at me saying she is done her job and there was an issue with the pharmacy despite me trying to explain that my other doctor sends prescriptions here all the time and I have never had an issue and also the pharmacy going out of their way to check on it. Have never had this kind of experience visiting a doctor's office. People always go out of their way to make the patient comfortable. Will never go back or recommend this clinic to anyone. This is not the way to treat patients who have come to see a doctor for an illness. I never write reviews and never a negative one as I know how hard people work to keep a business running.
