I have been a regular customer at clothes line, I sometimes do it myself and mostly have their staff wash dry fold and deliver to me. The place is always clean. The machines can handle large items like comforters. The staff is extremely helpful and super nice. When I have my clothes done by then and delivered everything is folded so perfectly I would definitely recommend anyone to use this laundromat. read more

The elderly man that works at night is rude and dismissive. Also, he has temper tantrums when things don't go his way or if he's in a bad mood. The daytime staff is different, they're friendly and helpful. Also, you have to make sure you watch your dryers carefully. Some of my clothes have been stolen. read more

Im new to the borough and all my appliances delivered except for my dryer! I had to find somewhere close to home so i can do my laundry. Found this laundromat and went over to wash my laundry and dry. I know its crazy cos i still cant believe the customer service i received here. There were 2 gentlemen and 2 ladies during my visit who I encountered with and they were ALL helpful and pleasant! First gentleman knew i was new to the laundromat, showed me how to use the machines, even let me pick out laundry bags (color of my choice) by opening the machine to get it out for me. He even suggested areas around the laundromat for me to kill time while i wait for my laundry to finish. Two ladies were folding laundry when i was putting in mine to dry. Both asked if i needed any help and told me not to hesitate. They were so sweet!!! Finally, when i went to pick up my laundry, another gentleman taught me how to use the laundry bag stretcher (yes there is such thing LOL so you can stretch out ur laundry bag and not have a difficult time tugging and pulling to ensure all the clothes get to the bottom!). He even pushed a cart of my laundry to my car (i parked 2 stores down) while i pushed the other cart. I would hope my dryer delivers soon but in the meantime, i will be coming here for all my laundry needs! Their service is exceptional! Thank you guys!! read more

This is the most reliable laundry service on Staten Island. They pick up and deliver. I have certain clothes that I don't dry and they send it all back on hangers. My clothes are always fresh and clean plus they smell great. I send it out by 11am and I gave it back by 2. Paul the delivery gentleman is very nice and will always accommodate my needs and my time. I have tried many laundromats on the island and this place is tops. Dryers are like magic, rarely do i need to put more than 2 quarters in a full dryer of linens. Staff are helpful. They actually hold the door open for you when they see you coming, and have offered to help carry laundry out to my car. Temperature is always comfortable unlike most places that are sweltering. I've never used their drop-off service so i can't comment on it. The xl machine is worth the $8 but be warned it can be temperamental if you don't follow the instructions. read more

I've been going to this laundromat for sometime. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and so are most (not all)of his employees. On several occasions, a very petite black haired employee was very dismissive and rude to me numerous times. I've witnessed her treating other customers the same way.She smells like she's been at the bar all night and happened to stumble into work. It's a shame. Ever since Covid hit I have dropped off my clothes and had it washed, dryed and folded within 1 to 2 days for pickup. Sam the owner and his staff are helpful and very kind and friendly people. I have my own washer and dryer at home but recently a day before I was having surgery my dryer broke. I went in with my wet clothes and dried them without a problem. Nine days later and my dryer is still not fixed. This time I go in and the old man tells me I need to pay two dollars to use the dryers since I didn't wash them there. Come again? I got pretty mad and took my clothes home. They'll air dry just fine on the clothesline and hanging over my chairs. I'm not paying a surcharge to use your dryers. I don't even think this is legal. Furthermore it's pretty disgusting to subject the people that use them out of necessity like single mothers or poor families living in the area. You ought to be ashamed of yourself especially when most of the people forced to use laundromat are poor immigrants. That being said your washers and dryers do work well for the money you normally charge. Get rid of that ridiculous insulting sign that asks for two dollars from people that could use that money to eat. read more

I mean everything some of these reviews are a joke , Who cares if the woman speaks to her friend while she's doing her job I mean seriously I have been going every Sunday morning she's so helpful prior to doing my own laundry I use to drop it off , And would literally only trust her to do it because the old man at night has a fresh mouth and does literally nothing! I have been going to this laundromat for a few years. The best feature was that it was open 24/7. The day staff remained unchanged for a number of years; the night staff is changed every few month (for various reasons ranging from sleeping on the job to letting "shady personalities" to lurk around). The washing machines are quite old. However, most of the time there are no problems encountered. There are a few newer driers; the majority are old. One learns which ones are best to use after several visits. The cleanliness of the place depends on the person who is working a given shift. In general this laundromat is on a cleaner side of the spectrum with few occasional slip-ups. I had to wipe off washing machine a few times before using it as it was left with lint or residue after previous user; a few times I had to clean out drier filter as it was not cleaned what it seemed like for a while. The prices per wash/per dry are average. The most expensive washing machine is 30 quarters, but it's huge! There is also a machine that does some extra spinning cycles for the washed clothes to get drier before going into a drier. It works ok. I used it once and decided it was the first and the last time I used it. I have also used their drop off service and was disappointed. The soap used certainly did not smell like Tide (as advertised) and the clothes were folded VERY poorly. I had to re-fold them at home. There is no hot water in the bathroom. I hope it is the plumbing mesh up and it does not mean there is no hot water in "HOT" water setting in washing machines! The owner seems as he cares about the business and the place. This laundromat could use newer washing machines and newer driers. The cleanliness could be brought to a higher level. And the staff should be retrained in their clothes folding techniques. The laundromat has a flat screen TV. The channel selection depends on the staff. Pros: used to be open 24/7; flat screen TV Cons: questionable water temperature, bad folding by staff, generic soap used, on and off cleanliness. I will continue going for self service. I have tried several different laundromats in the last few months for pickup and delivery service. I was not happy ar all. Last week I tried Clothes Line Laundromat and I am delighted! From my first call to the pick up and delivery all were perfect! Rose, the person who I spoke with on the phone more than once, was very courteous and patient. John, who picked up and delivered, was kind, considerate and professional. My laundry was folded well and my preferences were honored.
