This was such a pleasant experience. Our ice cream server was so friendly and offered suggestions m, as this was our first time here at Cloud 10. We sampled a few flavors and had fun comparing opinions with other customers that came in with us. The flavors were complex and full of flavor. My favorite was the milk chocolate lavender and the Nutella with marshmallows. They also had fun flavors like Marzipan, Earl Grey, Coconut Sorbet with Cherries and so many more! They were out of their best seller, Mango Sorbet, but I guess that means we will have to go back! Again, super friendly service, clean space, and cute décor! Positive experience and definitely recommend. They had picnic tables outside with umbrellas, but we opted for the AC inside so our ice cream wouldn't melt. Can't wait to go back! read more

While I didn't buy anything specifically, I did try an assortment of flavors! I had just eaten dinner so had no room for dessert but my friends purchased their own ice creams and they said it was great! From the moment we walked in we were greeted kindly by an employee. He was really nice and was more than patient in their search for the 'perfect' flavor! Not only were the samples great but the aesthetics of the place were so cute and definitely matched the vibe I was getting from it. I'm so irritated. I walked around the center with my dog went and ate inside at local foods with my very well trained dog. I walk into cloud 10 I'm not with anyone either and they say no dogs allowed. I said I am not with anyone and she's an esa they didn't care at all and didn't know what an esa was. I walked out and will not be returning. She tried saying it was some food rule but I walk into lots of places with my dog and no one ever has had a problem. So shame on you for not allowing dogs. Our original ice cream destination Rita's was unexpectedly closed at 8pm on a Wednesday so this place was recommended. The inside was modern, spotless, and cutely decorated for Christmas. Holiday hours were posted on the door and there were ice cream options for dogs too. I wasn't in love with all the flavors and they were out of bananas but the employees were so polite and helpful and let me sample as many flavors as I wanted. The ginger snap ice cream was delicious and I'd recommend it. My boyfriend got the mango sorbet which was so smooth and the melon Greek yogurt which tasted a little like trix yogurt - both were good. I'm totally on board with the gourmet ice cream trend even though I'm really not much of an ice cream eater. When there's a fun flavor though, you better believe I'll be there to try it. The seasonal flavor that caught my eye was the red currant mascarpone, which they had in addition to all of the other seasonal flavors listed online since they have them all available instead of rotating through them. The girl at the counter was more than willing to let us sample as many flavors as we wanted and we didn't feel any pressure to make a decision too quickly - then again, my bf and I were the only ones there. The red currant mascarpone was light with very very subtle flavors, which I loved. The lady recommended I try the popular goat cheese with milk chocolate since I showed my excitement about cheese ice cream. I thought the goat cheese flavor was overwhelming especially for a dessert and would be surprised if anyone could actually finish a whole scoop given how heavy it is. Nutella and marshmallow didn't have the strongest hazelnut flavor so that was a no-go for me. Cafe sua da tasted entirely of coffee and was missing the sweet creaminess that I crave about this Vietnamese drink. The biggest knock on this place is how upsetting the cones are. I forgot to take a picture, but the cone wraps around at the top for 2 layers of an already thick cone. It's definitely not an ideal situation and there's nothing really special about the cone either - if anything, it's a bit sweet for my taste. read more

Horrible experience, not for me but from what I witnessed. First a homeless man tried buying something and they wouldn't even help him. He had cash and didn't want to accept it, finally some kind stranger went and paid for the homeless man and they pushed his money away with a disgusted look. Terrible way to treat people Then they continued to be rude the girl and group who paid for the homeless man. Another addition to the Heights! I love Cloud 10 at the Rice Village location but this location is so different! Right next to the Lululemon and Melange Creperie, this place is like a small house converted into an ice cream shop! Unlike the Rice Village location, this place was larger and had a bigger selection of ice cream flavors! Two cases of unique homemade flavors, instead of 1! There was also indoor seating against the right wall and plenty of outdoor seating as well. The line moves a bit slowly cause of people tasting flavors but that's expected. I've always loved the toasted rice flavor but the new black bean with agave and lemon curd was unique and delicious as well! I love that my waffle cone was made fresh, you can see that it just came off the waffle iron not too long ago! Unfortunately the ice cream is way too sweet, and the earl grey and Vietnamese coffee flavors were not strong enough. Parking is also difficult to find on the weekends. A nice afternoon to go exploring the new Heights Mercantile shopping center. I like the transformed bungalow and the outdoor seating. I wanted to try the seasonal holiday peppermint chocolate but they only had it in pints. I sampled the café sua dua and dark chocolate. The café sua dua needed more cream in my opinion especially for ice cream. I chose dark chocolate. I chose the small size. The ice cream is richer than it looks and a tiny size was plenty enough ice cream for an afternoon treat. The ice cream is super cold. I give them props for keeping it so cold. My ice cream got colder as I ate it and had cold air vapors. The ice cream did taste better as it hit room temperature as it got creamier. The restrooms need some attention @ 1:45 pm in the afternoon - not good since they hadn't been open that long. read more

This is a great little ice cream shop in the Heights with some fun flavors. They'll let you sample flavors to make sure you're going to love what you order. They are cashless, so make sure you have your card with you. I had the mint chocolate and it was decent. My boyfriend tried the pumpkin and it tasted like the filling of a pumpkin pie. I'm rating it four stars because the place was absolutely filthy. There were no clean tables, there was overflowing trash and random trash everywhere. I got Guava and my son got Nutella with marshmallows and wow they are absolutely delicious. The guava is a sorbet but the texture is extremely soft and pillowy. I had the golden milk tea with passion fruit and malted barley with raisin jam and loved both flavors. My kids loved the Nutella with marshmallows. I'd have given more stars except our server was extremely surly. She was visibly annoyed that each of my children asked for a sample (one each). I really want to like this place but I'm not a fan of their ice cream, it can be icy and the flavors just don't "pop" for me. It's a bit pricey but what ice cream place isn't nowadays. Had 2-3 tables that only sat 2 people at each table. We waited in line to order our ice cream. Went by quickly. Ordered something different, toasted rice. The ice cream was creamy. Was thick. Nice taste. But for one cone, it was hella expenses. For 3 ice cream, the total was over $20. Worse of wall, the tables were full, so the only option was outside in the 100+ degree weather. Cloud 10 is my favorite ice cream shop in Houston. I'm not an aficionado or anything, but it's pretty damn good with unique flavors. But not weird, out there flavors like Salt n Straw. Unique flavors that work, like Goat Cheese with Milk Chocolate (try it!). Beware though, they get quite busy on the weekends and the line doesn't move very fast. However, I recently went on a Sunday after dinner and it was dead, which meant I could sample as many flavors as I wanted without fear of pissing off the throngs of people behind me. I ended up trying Goat Cheese with Milk Chocolate, Brown Sugar Cookies & Cream, Gingersnap, Nutella with Marshmallows, and Banana Cinnamon (don't judge me). Visited this wonderful establishment one night on a date ad it was just was wonderful! The flavors are not you regular run of the mill ice cream flavors and the facility was a great place to hangout. They have really cool decor and the patio area is lit by a blue light...really cool place to hangout with friends. We both had the two scoop cup, obviously. I had the lemon sorbet and earl grey lemon ice cream and they were heavenly. The earl grey lemon tasted just like earl grey tea with lemon and the lemon sorbet was just the perfect amount of tartness. My date had the toasted rice and it taste exactly like rice krispie treats! I settled on the banana cinnamon and it was the BEST!!! The whole place is cute and has seating indoor and outdoor. This whole ice cream place reminded me of the flavors they offer in Mexico. Overall average ice cream place. It's in a great location with nice outdoor seating and walking distance to many other shops. We had the vanilla ice cream which I thought was the best of the ice creams but I definitely did see a remarkable difference vs other ice cream shops.
