I was really looking forward to trying them as no one in the city seems to have Superman ice cream my mother drove all the way to chimney rock from Sugarland bc im pregnant Waited for them to open for 20 minutes and they never opened, called their business number and it doesn't work or gives you a prompt which no one will answer

Exceptional customer serves & the best adult snow cone I've ever had! Mixed with tigers blood, mango, and Georgia peach flavoring & topped with a alcohol based popsicle & strawberry! & it's also only $8!

They sell Superman ice cream, and there is a coney connection right next to it. If you are from the Midwest this should be a weekly ritual.

Entré y esperé en la fila por aproximadamente 10 minutos, solo para que la señora en el mostrador comenzara a gritar que ya no estaban tomando órdenes y que iban a cerrar por la noche. I ordered my SF strawberry with crema (.50 add on) but totally worth it. The Frito pies were amazing with the chili cheese. What stood out was the beans in the chili . They had plenty of people to handle the line! It was pretty warm outside but they did have some covered shade. Unpacked parking lot and no drive thru! FYI. This is pretty much my new spot. My BMP calamansi margarita was distinct in its tanginess. Tried the veggie lumpias and brussel sprouts. The lumpias had tangy dipping sauce that might have been dominated by calamansi. More tang than savory. The brussel sprouts were standard but had a good portion. I tried to detect whether they used fish sauce but I couldn't tell. Ordered the daing na bangus (milkfish) as my entree. They gave me the whole fish and it threw me off that it was mostly deboned since I kept looking for the bones with my tongue and teeth. Fish was nice and crispy and the dipping sauce was more savory than what came with the lumpias. The garlic rice that came with the dish was smoky from that wok hay. Probably could have used a little more soy sauce for flavouring. My favourite dish was the turon dessert (fried bananas) along with the ube ice cream. The coconut sauce they used seemed more like caramel. I haven't eaten much Filipino food so I wasn't sure how authentic the dishes were. I was expecting a little more intensity in the flavours, and I don't know if it was toned down for their customers. There were around ten customers that night. The inside was beautiful and they have a two level patio that is perfect for nights like these. The service was very nice and the kitchen was faster than I expected.

I visited here frequently and I'm sad to see it shut down. Kazzan ramen in Osaka is a bit north of the main hub of Osaka, but one can hope they continue to try to spread their magic elsewhere. It was touching to see they'd trained (at least some) the staff to incorporate some of the tradition you'll see when in Japan such as greeting and goodbyes, even understanding phrases such as "okaikei onegai shimasu." Having lived in Japan, it was a nice touch. Food & Drink Kazzan ramen is an absolute delight. The stone bowl is so hot and keeps your ramen warm for the entire time you're enjoying it. They offer shio, shoyu, karamiso ramens. I personally loved the karamiso though their limited edition spicy version was great if looking for some heat. For appetizers, the black pepper edamame was a standout. Flavors of toasted sesame, maybe a touch of soy, with black pepper - . The cocktails were always delicious. They always had elevated cocktails with custom syrups and bitters. Definitely nice to see unique Japanese ingredients being incorporated into the cocktail scene. Service The service was always great, very attentive. Never had a want or need go long without being addressed. Staff was always making th rounds collecting plates, filling water, making sure you have everything. Pricing The ramen was a bit pricey even for US standards, which likely contributed to struggles but it was still delicious and worth visiting. I think a few bucks cheaper would have probably gone a long way. Or offering bundled pricing with cocktails or drinks to encourage more revenue while discounting. Though, I don't find it coincidental that this location has been plagued by multiple establishments not making it. That would indicate onerous lease rates and a potentially shrewd landlord. Overall This place will be missed and for anyone that does get a chance to visit them elsewhere, you won't regret it!

He brought waters and I ask for a hot green tea and one of my dining companions had already ordered hot green tea but the server forgot and had to be reminded. Someone else had asked for a Japanese soda but then changed their mind when the flavor was not what they wanted and told the server they wanted a Dr Pepper and the server brought the Japanese soda. I thought service would be more attentive since the restaurant was not busy. We also had to ask for water refills. I was told our table just turned over. The setups were not replenished and we kept having to ask for things. Were ordered apps and ramen and hot stone bowl items. They apps were brought to the table but we did not have plates.. so we had to ask for plates. One of the dining companions decided to get up and get chopsticks instead of waiting. When our entrees arrived the server kept passing the super hot item over from one side of the table instead of to each person. The food, the edamame was over cooked... so mushy. Takoyaki was ok. I ordered the Kazzan Shoyu. It was ok. Then it took a while for the bill to come, we were told they ran out of receipt paper. Sometimes it's the little details that make the difference. Not sure I would come back.

Kira stands out to me because I can find special handrolls on their menu that I can't typically find at other handroll bars. I tried a variety of handrolls and was left impressed with the flavor combinations and different flavors on the menu. It an intimate space that seats only so many at the bar, but the interior is curated so nicely and makes the space super comforting. The vinyl player adds a nice touch and I loved the dim lit space. I recommend trying the lobster and peking duck hand roll since those are rolls you can't typically find elsewhere! The peking tastes exactly like the dish ordered at a chinese restaurant, but I lowkey prefer it on a bun- worth a try tho! The lobster was also so good, but at times the mustard was a tad too much. I really liked the freshness of the fish and I can tell that the chefs care a lot about their craft. Overall I'd give it a 7.5/10 for the taste, quality, and price point.
