I had high hopes for this bakery. Great reviews. I thought that it would be worth the money. Sadly, it was not. The birthday cake was ordered for a Saturday pickup. It looked like the picture on the website, and that was good, but the cake was dry, either was overbaked or was made several days before the pickup day and was just old. For the price I truly expected a wonderful cake. The flavor was okay, nothing great. What a disappointment. read more

I needed a special cake for my daughter's bridal shower. I did a little search and relied totally on reviews and pics. I was not disappointed. Kristen was responsive, organized and super reliable. Highlights are the guava cupcakes and the chocolate ones. If you are having a function and need cake or cupcakes, really recommend. Great customer service/communication. Easy to order, ready to pick up when stated. I was hosting baby shower and we got several dozen of the mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors because when offered a choice, choose both. Can't say enough about Cloud 9. Everything I've ever ordered from them has been beyond my sweetest dreams! From cupcakes to Apple turnovers, every single baked good is made with love and precision. If you've never been I would highly recommend ordering a Cloud 9 Bar. This is probably their claim to fame...and rightfully so! This little bar of ooey gooey goodness is like a blondie meets a cheesecake. I just went in last weekend and they've started making cocoa bombs, which were soooo mind meltingly delicious when they dissolve into a cup of warm milk. Really wonderful experience with my first time ordering from Cloud 9. We loved the cake. It was very fresh and delicious, even though I picked it up on a Saturday and served it on a Sunday (kept refrigerated, of course). The ordering online process was seamless. When I called them an hour earlier than my scheduled pickup time, the employee who helped me was very friendly and kind and was happy to bring the cake out. I chose the Funfetti flavor and it was a hit. I'll definitely return to Cloud 9! It was such a treat. read more

Everything is really good. Peanut butter cookies are the best I've ever had! I highly recommend for a sweet treat. Update: 5/28/2020 since my last review, I've been back twice. You can go wrong with anything you order. Everything from this bakery is amazing! The last thing I ordered were Graduation ‍ cookies for my son. I was having trouble getting to the bakery to pick up special cookies and Kristen was so kind to me. She offered to deliver the cookies to my home. So happy that thanks to Yelp I discovered Cloud 9 Bakery. This past week I was on the hunt for a tropical looking birthday cake and sent messages to quite a few cake places near me. Cloud 9 was super friendly and within my budget so I was thrilled. The icing on the cake, literally, were the flavors. I mean, rosé Champange cake for my rosé themed birthday party?! What could be more perfect. Kristen and team produced the most instagramable and delicious cake and truly brought my vision to life. Not only was the cake extremely beautiful, but the taste was wonderful. Really most, rich frosting and definitely a crowd pleaser. I also love that their ingredients are clean and local when possible. There's a ton of flavors to choose from, too. I am so happy to have found Cloud 9 and will definitely have so many sweet confections in my future thanks to them!! read more

It's about time I write a review for one of my favorite bakeries, after all I've visited a dozen times. If I was getting married this would be the bakery I would select for my wedding cake. Not because of the elaborate sugar flowers and decorations, but because I'm in love with their cake flavors. Two of my favorite are the Rose Champagne and the Honey Vanilla. There's always an array of cupcakes and other baked goods. Some of the other cupcake flavors include Guava, Banana Foster, Chai Tea with honey, Belgian Chocolate just to name a few. Anything they make with peanut butter is to die for. Their peanut butter cookies and bars are amazing. On Sundays they have three different types of donuts. They change weekly and post them on IG. The donuts are always pretty and delicious. Their variety of baked good and different unique cupcake flavors keep me coming back for more. read more

I cannot recommend this bakery enough! I had no previous reference about them, other than the reviews on Yelp. I loved that it is a small business, and from the very first contact I could tell how much the owner (and baker) is hands on and committed to the quality of her products and the satisfaction of her clients. She was very upfront about slow response rate, which I understood completely since she is trying to run her business with excellence with very limited staff. Kristen was able to accommodate my cake request, gave me her professional input, and delivered a gorgeous and delicious cake that was the star of my party! I don't live close to her bakery, but did not mind the drive to Pinecrest at all, it was so worth it!! He price is fair, her customer service is great, and her product is amazing!! If you are looking for a beautiful and delicious cake, look no more! I will be coming back for more! read more

Came in looking for chocolate chip cookies to this tucked away bakery. The interior is simple and cute, they have bunch of other baked goods that also looked delicious as well as beautifully crafted. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious and honestly the ultimate chewy chocolate chip. This is the 'sweetest little shop in Pinecrest' as far as we're concerned!! Kristen and Josh provided us with enough finger-held desserts for 125 guests at our daughter's wedding on 4/14/23 held at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden. She was going with a 'rustic' theme, so we had a buffet-type dinner, and as our daughter did NOT want a traditional cake, only delectable desserts, we had Kristen make a small 6-inch red velvet semi-naked cake just for the cake-cutting pictures! It was beautiful. Kristen decorated this cake ever-so-nicely with little bits of gold flake and hints of red velvet coming through the buttercream. It was divine to look at! Oh, and the compliments that we received about the desserts were several. Everyone had one that they just loved! We ordered several dozen multi-flavored cupcakes, dozens of cake pops (those went super-fast!!), trays of red velvet brownies, Cloud 9 bars, chocolate coconut graham bars, and white chocolate bourbon pecan bars! I found this place on Instagram when I was searching for bakeries with good reviews for my sister's quinceaneras. I wanted something simple since the party was going to be in my backyard. I was not disappointed with what I got, good price, very tasty and just how I wanted it.Very friendly place and on time. I got the honey vanilla flavor and it was AMAZING! My fiancé, mom, and I had a wonderful cake tasting at Cloud 9 Bakery! Kristen, the owner, is very nice and professional! Her desserts were simply amazing. It was so hard to pick a flavor. However, the honey vanilla is our favorite. We loved the tasting so much we had to take some of her other desserts home! Her shop is beautiful, simple, and elegant. I loved it! This gem of a bakery was discovered none other than on Yelp. During a quick search for a bakery, Cloud 9 was the first to come up with a perfect, 5 Star review. I was so excited to find out that they're local (In Pinecrest). The owners are very sweet (no pun intended) and helpful. I placed an order for a confirmation cake and while I was there, I tried their Rose Champagne flavored mini cupcake. DELICIOUS. Different. Moist, soft and so full of flavor. The cake I ordered was of that flavor and it was a hit on the day of our event. Prices are also amazing and the quality of their work is impeccable. Cloud 9 for the win! Where do I even begin? I contacted Cloud 9 for my wedding cake and cupcakes. Kristen responded right away and we booked a tasting. She was very accommodating and came to our house with all the samples we requested. Not only has she created the most unique flavors - hello, Pancakes & Bacon Cupcakes and Campfire S'mores - but they are sooo delicious!!! Needless to say we ordered about 160+ cupcakes as well as a cake for the groom and myself. She delivered them all herself and it was all there within plenty of time and in good order. There was nothing left at the end of the wedding. All gone! They were all a hit with all the guests. Not only is Kristen an absolutely delightful person to work with but she is an incredibly talented baker. Seriously, her cakes are AMAZING. I set up a tasting with her to try a few different cake flavors for my upcoming wedding. The cupcakes were so delicious that we couldn't pick one and had to order more so that we could try them again and get more of my family's opinion. After a few days of mulling over this very difficult decision we decided to go with a barely naked rose champagne with sweet cream frosting 4-tier cake for our wedding. This cake was absolutely perfect and SO delicious. We received so many comments from our guests about the flavor and the look of the cake. It was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding. I cannot recommend Kristen enough. She is such a sweet person, so helpful, and I'll say it again, so incredibly talented. I can't wait until we have another occasion that needs a cake although I may have to place an order for some cupcakes in the meantime to hold me over. read more

This cake shop delivers flawlessly! We ordered a 3 tier cake: Rose champagne with sweet cream frosting on the first tier, lemon with pistachio butter cream on the second, and dark chocolate with espresso frosting at the very top. Our naked cake was young, classy and absolutely adorable. Cloud 9 Bakery delivers on time regardless of their heavy workload and their slower than normal client communication. Rudest "bakery" I've ever tried to do business with. Ordered a wedding cake months back, I had to put down a deposit for half the amount which is normal. COVID hit which is understandable that business is on hiatus during the time when my cake order was due, not to mention my wedding on hold. I'd been emailing them for months now asking about my cake deposit and got no response. I called and left a message and got no response. I had to call back a few times to finally get someone on the phone. I politely asked for my refund and the guy on the phone kept asking when I wanted to reschedule. Obviously there are no weddings happening soon so I don't even know when I'll be rescheduling. Just a refund is all I want. Then I ask him why no one would have reached out when they knew the $120 I put down on a cake was not going to be delivered. Not to mention the date of the cake delivery had already past. But that's fine - everything is shut down. Well I guess not completely, because this place is still fulfilling orders for pick up. So I ask like hey man why would you have taken my money and not even have the decency and best business practices to just let me know you're not able to make a cake...even though you're still making cookies and other baked goods. Well whoever this guy was, I'm assuming he's an owner, didn't like that question. His response was to get nasty and tell me why would I think they would reach out to me? Well sir...I paid you $120...to which he replied by hanging up...like a child. Sad to see people try to run a business when they are completely out of touch with customer service. Taking customers for granted in the midst of an economic meltdown doesn't seem like the best move for self preservation. Oh well, I won't be doing business with these folks ever again. But I guess he doesn't care anyway, after all he has all those cookies to sell. Hopefully they actually give me my refund. read more

This was a random last minute visit to grab some cupcakes for my 4 year old. We went in and was greeted promptly, the store is cute and neat and smelled great. It was around 3 pm so I knew most of the ready made desserts would be sold out already. We managed to get 2 of the Rose champagne, chocolate, red velvet, vanilla honey and the one with the sprinkles (I cannot remember the exact name). I really liked the Rose champagne flavor it was light and moist... very good, the chocolate flavor was okay. We grabbed chocolate chip cookies that were very soft and delicious and gone in seconds. We also tried the brownie with cookie dough in the middle but it was not a favorite. I will absolutely visit again and try to catch them when they have some cake pops. read more

Although our wedding cake was included in our wedding package--we lucked out with Cloud 9 being one of our choices! Every cake sample we had was fantastic, but we settled on a marble cake with a simple and elegant buttercream that people are still raving about! This place is definitely the real deal! read more

I can't rave enough about Cloud 9 Bakery. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I live in the Atlanta area and I was assigned the dessert detail for my future DILs bridal shower. I wasn't familiar with the local bakeries in the area. I got a couple of recommendations from friends and looked at Yelp/Google reviews on Cloud 9. This is a biased review - Kristen is my cousin (cousin's wife, but they've been together since middle school so she's better family than most of the actual family), and I can recall her having a bunch of family and friends over when she first got into baking cupcakes to try her delicious treats. Since then I've seen her reviews and pictures from South Beach Food and Wine Fest, and have spoken to her and her husband as they have spent more than a year trying to go from baking outside the house to their own store front in Pinecrest. How fortunate I was that my first day back in Miami was the opening of Cloud 9 Bakery! They have some big shoes to fill in this shopping center that once housed Afternoon Tea and has the Italian shop with bakery. But I think they are doing more than an excellent job. When you walk in, you get an immaculate white interior with an L shaped display counter, offering you the daily made goodies. On my first visit I got the following to split with my family: -Drunken Rum Bundt Cake - This was one of the faves. Moist bundt cake with a hint of rum, topped with coconut. I love coconut rum cake, so this was really good! -Daddy's White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Bars - I had high hopes for these, but these were my least favorite. I love white chocolate macadamia, I love caramel. I just felt these have TOO many macadamia nuts. I'd be willing to try these with less nuts, but as is is a bit intense. -Peppermint Brownies - Brownies were good, and the peppermint wasn't too strong, but would probably try for regulars or the peanut butter cup brownies next time. -Cloud 9 Bars - MUST ORDER! Wow these were good - a cookie/blondie bottom with a cheesecake-like top. These were a hit with everyone, and not surprising when these are usually sold out. I returned on Christmas Eve to pick up some desserts for my best friend's family's Noche Buena and the chocolate chip cookies were a hit. Kristen also offers a number of cupcakes, shooters (truffle, mousse) and takes orders for all the baked goods offered, as well as cakes for birthdays and weddings. So whether you are looking for a snack in the shopping center or want to cater a party with some of the best desserts in Miami, I highly recommend Cloud 9. read more

Requested uber eats, and received the wrong order, the bakery made the mistake, they didn't send part of the order. After arguing with me to deal with uber she finally admitted she missed the items. They were less than helpful and actually suggested I incur additional charges by ordered another uber to rectify! Didn't even to offer to cover the deliver fee! Horrible service from cloud 9! read more

Ordered a rose gold drop chocolate cake for my sisters birthday and it was DELICIOUS! I usually am not a chocolate cake person but this was the BEST chocolate cake I've ever tried. The decoration was gorgeous and everything we wanted. The service at the bakery was amazing especially in times of COVID, they delivered the cake to our trunk. So happy my husband and I found cloud nine bakery! A mom and pop store based out of Miami, Kristen the baker is so sweet. She has a huge variety of cake flavors to choose from. Picking just one for our wedding was very difficult but we ended up with the Rose wedding cake which was to die for. She made a beautiful beach theme wedding cake which was exactly what we had envisioned. A gorgeous cake and delicious flavor we had so many compliments from guests. Established in 2008.

Kristen has always been a dreamer, had a strong sense of determination, a creative spark, and an unavoidable sweet tooth. When all these traits came together in the kitchen, a symphony of flavors ensued; ever since sending her family, friends and the lucky passer-by's, on a whimsical journey to Cloud 9. Growing up, Kristen always enjoyed cooking alongside her parents. Her inquiring mind taking interest in each and every ingredient. Her mother favored the more traditional flavors, while her father always wanted to try the trendiest and more inventive options, and Kristen realized she was a perfect fusion of the two: taking old and familiar dishes and giving them a new modern twist, a la, pumpkin tiramisu. Operating out of her kitchen, Kristen will bake you one of her tried and true specialties, or even coordinate with you and your ideas to bring to fruition your ultimate in confectionery dreamery.
