My new favorite place for mani-pedis in Kennesaw/Acworth. The salon was clean and not too crowded and the color options were cute, abundant, and in good repair (not half empty or goopy). The staff was also super friendly and kind. The pedicure was probably one of the best I've ever had, my technician spent so much time with me and I had a long leg/foot massage which seems hard to come by these days. I would highly recommend checking this salon out! I got the deluxe pedicure which was $35 and lasted roughly and hour. Great find!! read more

I got a full set of SNS acrylics done today, and everyone was so so nice! Welcoming, professional, all that good stuff. Tammy did my nails and she was a gem. I'm just not 100% happy with what I got for $50. From far away I adore them, I think they look amazing. But up close they're a bit uneven, lumpy, and just thick in general. I'm not sure if it's an SNS thing and I just don't know better, but my nails from the peripheral just look super bumpy and uneven. I also think some of the powder from filing down my nails got caught under the topcoat, so a few nails have nail-dust (?) in them. Tammy was so nice I didn't even try to complain, so it's on me that I didn't get her to touch them up! Overall I'm not sure I'll be going back just because of the quality, but the people really are super sweet! read more

I had Amy work on my feet and she's wonderful. The problem here, is they do not have quick dry Polish or a uv light to harden your gel. I sat under the fan for at least 25 minutes and my Polish still smudged almost the second I walked out the door. They're prices are a bit higher than some other places, but they are very nice people. read more

This Salon is awesome. I have been going here now for over 6 months. I do the SNS and they last over 3 weeks. My nails always look great. I get compliments on the colors all the time. I love that they never rush when doing my nails or pedicures, even when people walk in they don't rush to finish to get to the next client. They take there time to do everything right. I honestly thought the salon was just ok.... the guy who did my daughters nails was so funny and nice... talked a lot and was very professional.... the gentleman that did my nails took a while to warm up, and seemed as if something was bothering him! Really disappointed... Came here for a while and when the previous owner sold it, the place went completely downhill. 1. Both the people that conducted my services didn't speak English 2. They finished the pedicure and I had to wait 15min for the manicure. They didn't even start my gel soak until I pressed them to get them soaking 3. The polish was all over my toes 4. The massage... I use to go here all the time to get my nails and occasionally my eyebrows done. All the girls were super friendly, girls from all different backgrounds that made you feel welcome. They also did an excellent job on my nails, and their designs were like little works of art. The last time I went though, there was a whole new set of nail techs that weren't particularly friendly. They kind of ignored myself and other customers and chatted in a language I don't know. This is something I have encountered at other nail salons in the past, and one of the reasons I chose to go to cloud 9 until recently was because that wasn't my experience there. I hate to say it but it's just like any other nail place in town. My nails looked.. meh. Not awful but not great. They get the job done I guess... nothing to write home about. read more

I loved it here. It was my first pedicure and I was nervous. The wait was a little long even though I did have an appointment, but once they got started with me, it was all about me. No awkward conversation or what have you. She put my hot towels in for me when I sat down and opened the sterile instruments in front of me. The massage was great and their lotions are lovely. Walked in the salon and it was very clean. I also noticed clean air vents set up to help with the chemical smell, so the air was refreshing. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a lady who introduced herself as Jalise, asked me my name and shook my hand, which I thought was very personable. She asked how could she help me, offered me something to drink and I told her I would like a set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. Jalise is the nail artist so I told her that I was going to the Walker Stalker Convention and would like a Walking Dead/Vampire Diaries blood theme. She pulled out her Table, connected to Hulu and let me choose something to watch while she worked on my nails. Jalise was very nice and gentle and did an awesome job (pics are posted). Not sure of the young lady's name that did my pedicure, but she was also great and it was very relaxing. (Jalise also took time out and added the design on my big toe after my pedicure) Will definitely return read more

I don't normally go here but I was on this side of town and needed a new set..My nails came out ok but I didn't enjoy my experience. It was a bit dirty and cluttered. I called ahead and they to come right in there wasn't a wait. Then I had to wait 20 minutes. I really enjoy coming here! The are very new, but I encourage everyone in the area to give them a shot. All the ladies seem very invested in making the nail salon and the experience the very best. I especially like the special treatment I feel I get both times I've been in. The prices are very reasonable. My first trip to the salon was right after I got engaged. They made me feel special and comfortable as I had not gotten my nails done in nearly 5 years prior. They are right next to the awesome hair salon, Retrospective Hair Salon. Having both side by side is so convenient. My only suggestions, not to do a mani at the same time I am getting a pedicure. It would be more relaxing to do it one at a time. I've lived in Acworth for a little over a year, and all this time I've been nail salon hoping, searching for the perfect place. This shop isn't perfect, but it comes pretty darn close!! I'll start by saying I thought this location was closed. A few months ago I drove by and saw the 'Grand Opening' sign and thought, "cool, I'll check them out", but then I forgot about it. Yesterday I was searching yelp (as I always do) looking for a salon. I saw the reviews for this one with recent posts and thought "humph, that's strange, I thought they were closed". There's a SPACE FOR LEASE sign posted over the door, so I thought they went under! Not so! I called the salon and lo and behold they are open!! Turns out the sign is for the space next door...very confusing!! Anyway, back to my visit... When I walked through the door I was quickly greeted by a technician (owner maybe?), which was very impressive, I didn't have to stand there and yell to the back of the salon! One reviewer mentioned there was a great exhaust system, the system must have been on low because the smell was no less obvious while I was there than any other salon I've been to. Aside from the exhaust system, the only drawback at this point is the polish selection, it was pretty mediocre and sparse. Once I made my selection, I was escorted to the back, and that's when my nail tech, Donna took over. Donna is awesome!! She offered me something to drink, I was secretly hoping for a margarita p, but settled on a sprite. A straw would've been nice, but hey, you can't have everything! Usually during my nail appointments I don't want to talk, I just want to relax. Donna was fun and easy to talk to, she kept me talking, and I actually enjoyed our conversation, we were having such a good time that the lady in the chair next to me joined in. Now like I said, I usually want SILENCED during my pampering, but I didn't mind at all. I suspect that she would have stopped talking if I didn't respond, so if you like silence too, don't sweat it!! Donna....took....her...time...with my toes. No little ringer going off to let her know to move along. I loved it!!! She really, really salvaged my feet! The great thing is.....they offer a 10% for checking in on Yelp, which I promptly FORGOT to use when I checked out. I will definitely go back, next time I'll get a gel manicure. I'll keep you updated!! Oh yeah, for those who like to watch television while in the nail salon, you're out of luck, no boob tube on the premises, but they did have great music!! I have been going to the same nail salon for about 6 years but they have become too crowded and the wait is too long. So I tried Cloud 9 today. I stopped in this morning. It wasn't crowded but they told me they were booked. I really appreciated that they were honest about not being able to see me quickly rather than making me sit with my feet in water for an hour. So I left and went back this evening for a pedi and SNS. John did the SNS and he did a great job! He had one hand finished but he didn't like the way the color blended so he took everything off and started over. It took forever but I'm glad he cared enough to want my nails to look perfect. Also, he didn't put a ton of layers of powder on so my nails don't feel three inches thick. The pedi was ok (a regular pedi didn't include the exfoliating rub which I love). My fingernails look and feel great. I would definitely recommend this salon. This will be my new regular nail salon. read more

I went to check this salon out about two months ago before I left town for vacation. My pedicure was truly awful. The lady was super nice but the pedi was poorly done and overall messy looking. She did not groom my cuticles, the polish did not cover the entire nail, and uneven all around. I feel that my nail tech just wasn't experienced enough. This place is awesome! I was loyal to Ken Nails for a long time but lately they've been so busy I wanted to try and new place and this place is AMAZING! They have a jelly pedicure which feels awesome something I haven't had anywhere else! The nail artist are also so friendly. They actually talk to you and not about you. Reena should do some stand up comedy. We had 4 mani pedis together and they accommodated all of us at the SAME TIME. Not like the typical salon where they say yes pick your color and you wait for another 40 min. This place is amazing if you haven't given it a try you MUST! Love the service.
