My experience with Quality Carpet Care was top notch from the moment I submitted a quote inquiry via Yelp app. The owner, Johnny responded within the hour to my first message. Multiple appointment slots were also included in his response to facilitate planning. After electing for the next day appointment, I received messages via the app up until Johnny's arrival. I was delighted to have the real time status updates. The operation is entirely self sufficient and run out of a cargo van. Massive generator on the vehicle powered all the machines. Just needed an outside water spout. There was a 4 stage (most vendors do not offer all 4) process involved: spraying a citrus scented degreaser agent to the flooring, agitating the stains with a broom like brush, the actual steam cleaning with a vacuum-like device connected to a continuous steamer, a finishing "sweep" of all flooring. Incredibly, 10+ years of hard stains vanished and once the carpets dried two days later, the flooring in my house had a new carpet "feel". Not just the smell but actual bouncy feel. Suffice it to say, the service that Johnny offered was 200% value added. He's also the most personable guy I have ever met and is from the LA area. I am glad I had called Johnny and wish I had done so sooner. Note that there may be some confusion due to Steve being mentioned in some Yelp reviews. Johnny just recently acquired the business from Steve. According to Johnny, he does both residential and commercial office cleaning. It was the perfect experience!

Jose's team took away about 2 years of grime, pet hairs, soda stains and various yucks. They explained the process from beginning to end and were very attentive to any questions. They use natural, gentle cleaners. The "Cherry" scent of their cleaner was interesting but it doesn't last so that's a plus in my opinion. What's left after a few days was a natural clean. It would be accurate to say that there was a lack of any smell. Just a clean sofa. A bit about their communication prior to the job. I received quick and clear messages from the company. They quoted me a price and gave me a vey reasonable window of time for the appointment. They weren't the least expensive quote, but I didn't think it was worth the risk to save $10 by going with someone with lower reviews. They reminded me the day before and confirmed the timeframe. Showed up like clockwork and were done in under 2-hours. I will try my best to keep my 2-pups off the sofa, bit who are we kidding...I know I will be calling them back for an annual cleaning. He gave me an estimate on cost and some days later a gentleman whose name I can't remember (my apologies) showed up. My water was not turned on yet, but this guy made it work! I was very appreciative that. One of the bedrooms had a gnarly stain and he warned me that he may not be able to get it out. He offered to try to remove the stain with additional products and effort for an extra cost. I agreed, but it still did not work. Along with the one large stain, there are remnants of an additional couple of stains in the other rooms. For all of the additional add ons and cost, I would say the pricing of this company is fairly reasonable - I would have appreciated if they waved some of that since the stains did not come out, but unfortunately that was not offered. Overall, the gentleman worked quickly and diligently given the circumstances.

He said he wouldn't be able to clean it day of, but that was totally ok- he promised it within two days. It was because he couldn't clean it outside our apartment since the security wouldn't let him (otherwise I think he might've been able to do it same-day), so he said he'd need to take it back to his place, which I was ok with. So we handed it to him on a Wednesday and got it back Friday. When we got it back, underneath the rug was MUCH, much more dirty than when we handed it over (pictures attached). He said it was because he had to do it on a driveway? But I feel like as a business owner, I wouldn't be able to give it back in basically a worse condition than when I received it. The smell of our pet was still there (it wasn't a territory marking or anything either, it wasn't a big deal), and maybe a few dirt spots from the driveway might've been fine, but it was literally all across the underside of our carpet. There were scuffs on the back too which leads me to think that the driveway may have been rough or what he used on there to brush it was super abrasive. And just to clarify, our rug has always been in our living room- the underside was spotless to begin with. So basically, we had to wash the rug IN OUR BATHTUB several times (and you can see with the water in the tub how dirty it still was), dry it out on our patio by moving our plants around so it can fit the rug, and then when it was almost dry, we took it to a cleaning place to have it done. So there you have it- unfortunately can't recommend this to anyone else. The physical labor we had to do by soaking the rug in water, wringing it, taking it to the balcony, taking it to the cleaners- it was a nightmare.
