I had him put in Garrison engineered wood flooring in two bedrooms to try to match my existing wood floors in common areas along with a baseshoe to cover the gap between the floor and baseboard. He was able to keep the floor flush in one bedroom, and added a transition for the second because the subfloor had poured concrete and was higher than the landing. We ordered the LVP from a supplier since we needed a specific brand and color to match the flooring on the 1st floor. Alex helped procure the baseboards and beading for one room to match the wall to wall shelves. Alex went and got a piece of hard plywood to replace a small piece of flooring that had some water damage. His installation crew was open to our ideas on how to move our heavy furniture across rooms so that they could finish 2 rooms on Day 1 and the remaining 2 on Day 2. Overall it was a smooth and stress free installation. My wife and I recommend Alex and his team. He said he is looking to get into design work and we plan to reach out for some minor remodeling work later this year.

After putting flooring in just 1/4 or 1/3 of our house he stopped coming for several weeks! We were left with a partial floor and he wouldn't answer calls or texts. When they finally came back after a month he had the excuse that he and all his crew had a sore throat. After finally completing the rest of the flooring, the doors on my daughters closet were so tight that they literally were stuck in place. His crew were going to leave it that way and said there was nothing they could do! We pushed back and said they couldn't leave with a closet full of my daughters things that she could no longer get to! They said there was nothing they could do. We insisted that they try again to adjust the doors which thy finally did and the doors work fine, but they were planning on leaving them no longer working! As they were finishing we noticed the flooring in the kitchen was making loud cracking and popping sounds every time we walked on it. Alex had one of his workers cut out a couple planks (taking off the interlocking edges),and glued them back down. (It is meant to be a floating floor!) within a day or two they were popping and cracking again but even worse now and it is spreading to many other planks. As soon as he got his money he disappeared. He wont answer any calls or texts or messages. We are very frustrated to say the least and will now need to talk to the contractors state license board and his bond company and other avenues because our floor can not stay this way!
