It is a truck stop so there is plenty of parking. We are a the restaurant inside and the food was good and quick to be served. There was plenty of seating and talking to people it appears they have their daily regulars. The waitress was unsure of what was gluten free so she made sure to check all the ingredients after we order to verify that is was safe.

Another foreign owned truck stop, greedily charging $12 to park for Federal mandated 10 hour break. Parking lot is of course sloped like you are about to take off. The restrooms are bad with the familiar water bottles littering the toilets. The employee at the counter was rude. The convince store had more useless cheap souvenirs and less food and drink. The waitstaff in the restaurant I am sure besides being low level didn't have much knowledge of their menu. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else for health and safety reasons.

Country Kitchen, the no-frills eatery at Cloverdale Travel Plaza, is a fine example of a classic diner in Middle America. My advice when dining at one of these establishments is to get breakfast or country fried steak because they are usually top notch. This morning's meal was no exception. I ordered country fried steak with a side of grits with cheese and was gifted a slice of bacon from the hubs. The grits were cooked perfectly and only needed a pinch of salt. The country fried steak was fantastic with a good crisp under a generous amount of white gravy. I'm a slow eater and the breading on the steak was crispy until the last bite, despite the smothering of gravy. The thick-cut bacon was perfection with a balance of crisp and softness. If you happen to be hungry in Cloverdale, stop by Country Kitchen at the Cloverdale truck stop!

Went today and I picked a bad day the waitress was pissed because her replacement didn't show up. The cook's said they were closing and going home I assume because they're replacement didn't come and they were running out of food. We still got alright service for the situation. I got the double cheeseburger and fries the fries were very good the burger was not. The burger actually didn't have any taste at all. My wife had the blt and she said it was okay. The grand kids had tender's which they didn't eat so I ate them they were good. Not the best experience.

Skipped the restaurant when we saw the help wanted sign and only one unmasked waitress working there.

I was driving all day and famished so pulled off at Cloverdale, IN. The Cloverdale Kitchen was open so I stopped in. The young man sat me in a booth and took my order. We chatted most of the time and it was interesting conversation. My food arrived and it was delicious - a well made BLT with crispy bacon, crispy fries and an awesome slice of carrot cake. I recommend you stop in and sit a spell.

It wasn't clear what their hours were: the website said they were open until 4pm, while the hours posted Google and on the door said 2pm, and here on Yelp it says 3pm. They also had a paper sign taped to the door saying they would close that day at 1pm. Fortunately we made it there a half hour before closing, but it would probably be a good idea for them to sort that out across the various platforms. I ordered a latte with praline syrup which was nice (the cups and lids were kind of the best I've seen at a coffee shop, which is random, but worth mentioning) as well as a bagel and a donut. The donut was a chocolate long john and I asked the person taking my order if they were filled or unfilled. They said unfilled, which is what I wanted, but when I got back to my car, it was filled. My husband went in to place his own order, so he purchased another normal chocolate frosted donut and it was fine, but I would have been bummed if I had been on my own and gotten the wrong thing. My bagel was good and my husband enjoyed the coffee and pastry he ordered, plus my reject donut. ;) Looks like it'd be a nice place to stay and enjoy a meal or do some work, as there was a whole separate sitting area upstairs.

Anyway, walked into the cutest shop with wonderful employees ready to serve. Ordered a wonderful tasting espresso to go and a couple of donuts for the road back home. Tried the sprinkle birthday cake donut and a regular yeast donut. There were many options for bread choices and saw a large open space upstairs as well as a good amount of seating downstairs. Appears you can watch the bakery working while sitting as well, which is a nice add to any cafe/coffeeshop. PROS: Space is large and inviting Friendly staff Easy parking across the street or on the street Cake donut was great, needs a few more sprinkles but great Coffee taste was great, had a double espresso so definitely tasted the coffee Breakfast sandwiches were on the menu, did not try, but great option CONS: Yeast donut- depends on what you like. It is a thicker yeast donut not the light and fluffy I can eat 10 at a sitting type of yeast, but the taste was good HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING INTO THIS ONE STOP SHOP!
