This place is hit or miss tonight it was a hit. They change their menu it is bigger now and has a wide variety of items from breakfast to dinner. There is ample parking and you can get your gas and last minute Christmas gifts. We had a great waitress tonight. Every body's food was great. I had the bacon double cheeseburger it was big and very tasty. My daughter had the buffalo Mac and cheese she said it was delicious my wife had the blt she said it was wonderful as always and they now season their fries and they are awesome. It is a very casual dining experience. I love to eat a truck stops and small hometown restaurant's. All in all a great experience.

It was so cute and cozy inside, perfect for having quality time or getting some work done. In terms of beverages, you can tell that they specialize in having a unique coffee selection, which I feel like is just not as common in today's run-of-the-mill society. I had the barista surprise me with a drink of her choice, and it was wonderful! I also love that they took the time to train and hang the barista's certifications behind the register - this just adds so much credibility to a small place like this and makes me want to support their business even more. Truly can't wait to return, despite the long drive! I also have to point out that this place was so incredible with my professionally trained service dog. I was able to come across one of the owners of the business during my time there, and they were so ecstatic to see a trained dog in their business. It was sweet talking briefly with them about my pup's training, and being able to thank them for the service I received while at their coffee shop. Thankful for businesses like this!

The mix of booths and tables give off a 1990's vibe. The place is cozy and comforting. Our server was attentive, friendly and engaging. She made menu recommendations. The menu is a mix of traditional breakfast and lunch items. Egg plates, pancakes, omelets, burgers. Prices are reasonable. There is an up charge for crust card use. I had a cheeseburger with onion rings on the advice of our server. The burger was huge with lots of toppings - I could only eat half. The onion rings are house made and delicious. My husband had the breaded tenderloin, which is prepared fresh in house. The huge tenderloin was thin with a nice breaded coating. He had the fries, which could have been a bit crispier. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall lot.

So my granddaughter and I came here for lunch. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and she had the Buffalo Chicken. It was good food and we would both order ours again. I was impressed they had four kinds of cobblers on hand, peach, cherry, apple and blackberry. We both ordered cobbler, cherry for me and blackberry for her. They were both delicious. Our server was very friendly and super efficient in taking care of us. Paying the check by the door was simple and cheaper if paid in cash.

A good local bakery in Indiana can be like a unicorn. Happy to have found the Singing Crust Bakery....a lovely little unicorn. Showing up about 45 minutes prior to close probably served us no good, but we were happy to pop in and get what we got. There was actually quite a bit available at this late hour. The staff is so friendly and patient as we contemplate our choices, there are actually quite a few people working this day. House made English muffins, peanut butter cookies and a cinnamon role. All take home items to be eaten later in our kitchen. Unexpectedly delicious....really quite good. My mom cannot stop talking about the peanut butter cookies and she is kind of a connoisseur of sorts in these cookie related matters. The cinnamon role when reheated was the perfect amount of soft stretchy dough and sweetness (more light, than dense). And the English muffins, almost the size of a teacup saucer, were excellent. Really excellent....not to mention unique, for when do you see an house made English muffin in a bakery? Items we did not buy, but were available were breads, including baguettes, whole pies, pie slices and other assortments of cookies. Coffee and some sandwiches are available for sale as well. Not often in this area, but an absolutely worthy stop. My parents and I will one day make it a point to have a little road trip to drive over from Terre Haute to pick up some baked good again.

It took my suggestion on this trip for me to actually try it and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere and lengthy menu reminded me of New Jersey diner. The menu was so extensive, I completely missed one whole page of breakfast foods. They had everything with the exception of bagels. Portions are huge. They were so big, I could not finish my meal. Two could eat comfortably with the sizes of the dishes they brought out. Grits were a nice texture, not runny or pasty and yes, they serve grits this far north. I would estimate that they serve about 2-3 measuring cups worth in a cereal bowl. My three egg omelet was fine. The vegetables and ham were mixed in with the egg, which was cooked just fine. Pancakes are their signature dish and I really enjoyed these, except they were too big. Two fluffy pancakes stacked together just about covered a dinner plate. Too often pancakes are floppy or overcooked. These were perfect. I would have liked the option for real maple syrup, though. Our server was "Joanie on the Spot" and she never let the coffee cup go below half full. In addition to being prompt, she was friendly and knowledgeable about the food.
