Called one of our favorite independent stores, Ventura, and Robert referred me to Angelica at Super Air. I called her and was greeted professionally, and given all the details for what she could provide: same great brand as the big box stores, the max warranty of 9 years, included the self cleaning option, and got the item delivered and installed THE NEXT DAY WHICH WAS A FRIDAY for $1600! People hire "professionals" for their opinion and guidance and when said professionals/companies take advantage of people who put their trust in their work ... they should just be ashamed. We hired this company to do an inspection on a home we were looking to buy. We got the report of findings which were all accurate so I can least attest to that honesty. However, on the details of their recommendations they stated a price of a tune up. Basically told us as the potential new owners - this unit is old and buy some home warranty BUT give us this money and we can tune it up and it'll be good to go for you guys. We bought our home end of April and by first week of May the heat hit and our AC went out. I called the company to see if they could get a technician out and other companies because it was hot and we were desperate for someone to help fix the problem ASAP. We got another company out there and to our surprise we got told "your unit is basically SHOT. Expect to buy a new AC asap because pouring money into this is basically just going to bleed you out!" We got a quote for 17x the initial quote to fix the existing unit and basically at that point it's just time to buy a new unit. Now, after about a day or so Super Air finally calls us back regarding my initial message. They specifically tell us "I remember this house. That unit was not going to last this summer but you know realtors don't like us to say that the unit is dead so that's why I put to buy home warranty." My jaw was on the floor! We paid for you guys not the realtor and we trusted your inspection that the home we got would be good. So a week into our new home buying we also had to add the purchase of a brand new HVAC system. But you know Super Air did offer us a discount for a new HVAC if we purchased through them. Overall, I wouldn't trust any business from this company nor give them any business because I wouldn't wish our situation on anyone!

I texted the RobinAir number not expecting to hear back within a day in the least but within a…read moreminute or two of me texting their number I was immediately called by their owner Scott who not only took the time to answer all of my questions about prices but also further gave me a rundown of what some of these issues meant, around how much solving each issue would cost as well as some other probabilities of what it could possibly be. Our AC unit is extremely old and is the original one that came with the house but she's never given us any trouble until today. Overall right out of the gate Scott was already making things a little less confusing than what they already were as well as being an overall friendly man. On top of that rather than upselling himself and his company which I feel is just pushy sometimes when other companies do it, he said that if I still wanted to "shop around" to other places that it was alright but if I decided I wanted to go with them they could have someone here today and to give them a call back. Which to say the least was a surprise. It felt like I was just talking to a friend rather than a business. I had said I'd need to talk to my family about the cost and that we'd call him back if need be. We agreed that on top of the great customer service and the amazing reviews it seemed like our best bet. I had called back around 12pm so around lunchtime and not only did he say he could get someone out there between 12-3pm they showed up at 1:30 so we waited an hour tops. We were even surprised with how fast they had shown up the waters we put in the fridge for them weren't even cold yet is how fast they showed up. The technician sent out was Jacob Herrera who overall was a really great guy; he was cracking jokes about how he already knows he's going to be sweating real bad once he got out to the unit and even when he got it all done and fixed he was like "Oooh this living room one is nice I could stand under this one all day" which I definitely do so I get it indefinitely. It wasn't that uncomfortable silence that usually happens when people come to fix things. Within 20 minutes of him arriving he fixed it and had our AC running back to normal, we paid and he was gone as quick as he came. Overall I'd highly recommend RobinAir the reviews do NOT lie people.
