Costing: Pablo provided an extremely aggressive quote! In some cases a few grand cheaper than competitors. Price agreement : Pablo is understanding and open to conversations about cost. The detailed itemized price proposal made it easy to inquire about things like types of turf and how to be more cost efficient with the amount of cement we wanted. Project Review: once we agreed on the project, Pablo and his dad came out one more time to make sure we were aligned on the project, which was helpful. Installation: We had a couple of days delay because of the recent rain but Pablo gave me a heads up the week before that they were going to keep an eye on the weather and would start as quickly as possible. The project itself took 4 days to complete for roughly 1300 sq feet of cement and 800 sq ft of turf. Pablo and his dad were both out here personally installing the concrete and turf. They even installed a door leading to my backyard at no additional cost. Result: we are extremely happy with the result and how great it makes my front and backyard look. Jonathan and Eugenio worked their butts off for two and a half days in triple digits going from inside to outside all day. I'm sweating just thinking about the valley heat. Ugh We could not be happier with the service and the excellent customer service from Jonathan and Eugenio. I highly recommend Lee's if you're ever in a situation during a friggin heat wave with the humidity. ps: Lee's also provided two portable a/c units while installing new system. pps: we received three quotes. Lee's was mid-range. I feel we received a good value for what we paid. You can't live in the Central Valley without A/C. God bless those who don't have it and/or don't run it due to pge gouging. I felt helpless about how to address the biggest challenge I was facing, even had another Gardner attempt to help me especially with the drainage system. But it didn't work out until I met them. They were the kindest, humble, and family-oriented workers, and perfectionists at what they do. There is nothing that you ask that they can't do. They took their time to make sure I was within my budget although we kept finding more challenges along the line but they took care of it keeping the cost reasonable. They worked with the design I had in mind and added a few ideas of what they liked to add. They removed all the old wood chips and bricks, replaced the entire backyard with turf, cement, flower & herb garden underground drainage, new sprinkler drip line. They also helped to clean my rain gutter and the final big job was to replace the almost falling fence from a neighbor's evasive vine. . They are meticulous at what they do, on time every day sharp at 730, and make sure they leave theor work area clean for the next day. I am beyond impressed at their knowledge and fee and just pure joy they bring working quitley for about 8hes a day. I am ready to enjoy my beautiful backyard for the summer. Thank you so much. Seriously, Carlos Garcia is amazing…read more Carlos has been outstanding in every aspect of his work for us, including both a large one-time project and recurring biweekly service. He is reliable, punctual, and courteous, and he does great work, often going well above and beyond to exceed our expectations. We're like you; we scoured Yelp for the best reviews before reaching out to multiple landscapers. We had a hard time finding someone who would (a) respond, (b) show up at the agreed time to provide an estimate, and (c) show up at the agreed time to do the work. We actually hired a different landscaper, who didn't show up to do the work after multiple reschedules. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we hired Carlos. If he doesn't respond to your message right away, give him a little time -- he's probably out working! We initially hired Carlos for a one-time project that included cleaning and re-mulching plant beds, weed removal, and trimming dozens of monstrously overgrown rose bushes and other plants. His estimate was reasonable and he arrived on time for each visit. He and his crew did a great job and totally transformed our yard. Based on the good experience with the one-time project, we hired Carlos for biweekly service. He has reliably shown up every time for the past six months, and continues to do great work. We just asked for basic maintenance like grass trimming and leaf blowing, but he has consistently gone above and beyond to maintain the work he did with the one-time project, which we didn't expect, and continues to blow us away with the scope and quality of his work. We have also asked him to do smaller projects, like replacing broken sprinkler heads, which he has done promptly, cheerfully, and at a very reasonable cost. Every time Carlos finishes his work, I think, wow, this guy does such a great job, I should go write a Yelp review. Well, finally, here it is! Carlos Garcia is amazing.
