Great quality sliding glass tub/shower. Came quickly and price was good. We installed it but they offered to for a decent price as well.

Long story short, I ordered doors and windows a year and a half ago and they finally finished yesterday January 5th. But the highlight of the whole thing was they sent a technician out yesterday to replace a frame ( first technician was here a year ago ) diagnosed it as a bent frame that could not be repaired. New technician shows up yesterday Carlos T who was very professional, and respectful. He looked at the problem and fifteen minutes later figure out what was wrong with it and repaired it. I'm so, so upset with their customer service. The installation of my new sliding glass door was flawless and the window itself is beautiful. However, my screen door came with a hole (which I had no problem) and they took it back to fix it on their time and delivered it one week after the installation. When the guy came out, he installed the screen door--from the outside, never came in-- and ensured me that the door would get easier to close over time. It's been one week and the screen door is BOWED and the locking mechanism does not work from the inside without almost ripping off the screen. I called Clovis Glass at 8:30am, kindly spoke to Doug and he ensured me that he would call me and get it fixed. I called again to follow up at 5pm because I had not heard from anyone all day. They are giving me the round and round about to keep leaving messages to Doug, Ernie, etc... I just want my screen fixed because it was delivered bowed. I spent well over $2,000 and I'm extremely disappointed... I will be following up with Clovis Glass until this gets resolved. EDIT: I did get a follow up call with the time and date I needed. I appreciate the flexibility to make this right. The guys came out and fixed the door which was indeed bowed. read more

We went to the store, got an estimate. They came to the house and took measurements for our windows and sliding door. They said they would send the final estimate and email documents to sign. They said they would send it the next day. It has been over a week, my husband has called 3 times with no result. It is too bad they don't want our money. Shame on you Clovis Glass for charging astronomical prices. The previous owner of our home recommended Clovis Glass, I think he was friends w/ the owner. I called and said I needed new window screens (11) & 1 screen door all w/ pet resistant screening. He sent out two workers to take measurements (~30min) and to collect $35 for the estimate (computer program), 8 days later he called to say it would be over $1,000. What!?!? For that amount I told my husband we should watch a YouTube video and do it ourselves. But I tried again and called JZ Construction. They don't make or repair window or door screens, but w/o hesitation recommended Rob Bremer from Sierra Aluminum Products. Thank you JZ Construction! Rob came out the next morning (Fri) to see what needed to be done, take measurements, and quoted me a much fairer amount. The following Tue (4 days) he called to say my order was ready. What!?!? He ended up having to add some extra hardware to the window casings and remake one of the screens (not his fault), but he wouldn't take any more money and the work was spot on[. It's refreshing to meet someone who takes pride in a job well done, not just in the joy of payment. I appreciate you Rob and your honest, ethical way of conducting business. I really wanted to give my business to Clovis Glass. I shop local, I support local whenever possible. I am shocked by the ghosting I have received just to receive just an estimate on my whole home window replacement. Try to follow along: * I went online and requested a quote back in December 2018. * A representative came out and measured on December 28, 2018 * From that point onward, communication went high and dry. * I called again for an update on January 9, 2019. No call back. * I called again for an update on January 21, 2019. Again, no call back. * I called again (and for the last time) on January 28, 2019 and even spoke with a supervisor/manager; and again, NOTHING!!!!! Recently I had to have a dual paine window replaced. I called Clovis glass for a quote. They charge me $40.00 for the quote which would be credited to my toll charge if I went with Clovis glass. They quoted $1,396.00 for the complete job, the price included 2 men for the job $750.00 labor. I call Pro Glass and got the job done for under $700.00. I will not every recommend Clovis Glass! What an insult to be charge for a quote that is double their competitors. Shame on you Clovis Glass! read more

My sliding dual pane door just exploded...cracking into a thousand pieces. I was so worried, as I had a 7 mo. old puppy. While several businesses I called couldn't come out for an estimate till the following week, Clovis Glass owner David came out within a few hours. The price was lower than quoted by others, the new glass arrived timely and clean up/installation of the new pane was beyond expectation. These guys are amazing and so nice. Omg...I'm just reading these reviews and wish I would have read them before I purchased windows for my house... Just finished installing them with scratches on them that now have to be replaced. The installers knocked over two large candlesticks that broke into pieces while he was talking on his phone,about his wife taking his kids,away and dragging a trash can through my house to clean up his mess. And now trying to talk to someone has been awful. Not only did they not call me back, but when they returned my call it was not even a manager, but they talked to their installer and then said it,was my fault because it was in my contract that anything against you wall was fair game....those candlesticks were not even near the window they were working on. Called this company to get quote to replace a broken window. They came out to measure the window and then called me back saying it was going to cost $1300! When I asked them why so much, they told me that it required 2 guys to install and the labor was going to cost $850!!!! I knew that this was absolutely crazy so I told them NO THANK YOU.. So far I haven't heard back from Clovis Glass, guess I should have read the reviews. When I first called to have my windows repaired I also ordered a screen for my sliding door. Even though I didn't pay the $40 service fee because they didn't bring the sliding door screen and windows couldn't be repaired. The service man was puzzled with why my windows are extremely difficult to open once closed, he was going to review the problem with his boss haven't heard back. The windows were purchased and installed by Clovis Glass by the previous owner so I though it would be best to go with them for repairs, but after reading the reviews I don't expect anything to be resolved . Called for a bid on both purchasing new windows and frames, and only replacing the existing glass in my home on 5 windows. The new window gentleman from Clovis Glass gave me a bid, however advised changing the glass only is far less expensive. The second gentlemen from Clovis Glass who bid on glass replacement only said the same thing. Both estimates came in nearly the same, over $3000. I called to inquire, questioning how totally new windows and frames could cost the same as just changing the glass. Despite what I was told by both of their service people, Fidel at the Clovis Glass office said changing glass is labor intensive, and that justifies the prices being the same. It took 3 weeks and a non refundable deposit of $40 for this to take place. The reader can draw their own conclusions, but I'm taking my business elsewhere. Kurt Smith read more

I paid the $40.00 fee to measure for a replacement window thinking they would do the work and apply the $40.00 to the cost of the window. Instead they gave me a quote so high it was ridiculous. I went out and got 3 other bids and all were half of what they quoted me. I have left three messages for a manager to call me and make this right but no call back. Just tried to pick up 2 simple windows I ordered months ago. As soon as I saw them , they were obviously ordered wrong. No big deal , mistakes happen , the problem was how their employee handled it. ( the crazy part is they could have easily fixed them in 30 minutes , had a lip that needed to be cut off ) The young lady who sold me the job was trying to work a solution but this idiot shop man was being aggressive, acted like he knew everything, and told me to basically go pound sand. No human should speak to another in this manner. I'm in the construction business , and for 21 years instructed my office send a large amount of glass work / windows / doors on a monthly basis to Clovis glass. ( we are in a very similar business , however, don't do windows and about 30 people a month call us looking for windows by mistake ) I know how to measure for windows. Not my error. Yet I spent the better part of 1000$ on two windows I'm not going to use. Again , I've been a customer for over 25 years , I am fully aware of how hard it is to get people to show up to work these days , but sometimes nobody is better than a complete jerk. You may or may not care how many referrals my company sends your way each month , but I assure you this is going to cost you more than trimming the lip off two windows. I just went to the glass shop down the street from my business and tried to order the windows again , funny thing , when my neighbor heard how mad I was at clovis glass , and how I was treated , he ordered the two windows I needed for free, money isn't an issue for me I tried to pay him , but Tony wouldn't take my money. I used Clovis Glass for my windows about 5 years ago and it was a wonderful experience... I don't know why doors are so difficult but I gave them a sizable deposit about a month and a half ago and they just scheduled my install for 7/22... started the process back at the beginning of May. Communication has been awful all around and a lot of passing the buck and excuses... I don't think i'd have minded as much if I'd known it was going to be a long process, but they acted like it was no big deal... just wanted the sale and to lock me in with a deposit... doubtful I'll use this group for anything in the future. read more
