POOR FRONT DESK!!! Came with my spouse to see Dr. Naser Elkhalili and checked in on the phone. We also were assisted by the front desk rep Maribel who was rude and unprofessional. She advised of the copay which was incorrect and would not listen to what I was explaining to her with regard to our insurance/benefits. She made it clear she was not concerned with what he should have paid and insisted the copay was more than what the benefits stated. I paid it because it was obvious she could not accept what I knew he owed. My background is insurance and I've been a claims analyst, so I'm very familiar with our benefits. The "manager" Cheronda was sitting next to her and wasn't very helpful and stated they would reverify the benefit but it would prolong our wait from being seen. $15 dollars should not have prevented my husband from being seen nor them doing their job efficiently. Once we were called to the back the intake nurse Nicole was very warm and welcoming just like a doctor's office should be. It all starts at the front desk!! I did voice my concerns to Dr. Elkhalili and he unfortunately made excuses for his poor staff. It was sad seeing how the front desk interacts with their patients. read more

Pain management waiting room is an insane asylum. Hysterical woman crying because they scheduled the wrong appointment. Another woman yelling into her cell phone like she's in a train station and the whole place packed with people just waiting. Waited an hour for a friend to get a shot. So, this is basically a people warehouse taking copays, not even the decency to hire enough staff. Find a better provider if you can. If you can't, find a better location. I praised this medical center in a previous post, but after today, I would give them zero if I could. I had a procedure scheduled for this Thursday and was called today to be told that my time had changed, I could not miss any more work that I have done to my legs and was wanting to get this done as soon as possible as possible. When I called to verify my appointment on Thursday I was told my appointment time was changed, I explained when I take time off from work, they expect me to be back at a certain time. Then I was told the cost of my procedure would be $800, on Tuesday, when my appointment is on Thursday. When I spoke to Jess from Dr. Ben's office told me that appointment times are tentative and not guaranteed and I was told that in the room, which I was not. Jess continued to speak over me as I asked why I was not told sooner about my co-pay for my visit, I was dismissed and told they could not contact my insurance early. Let's not mention how I was charge incorrectly for an appointment on their system and to this day I'm still waiting for a refund. Do not recommend this facility. read more

The provider is 5 stars. This however is a review using the app scheduler vs going to the Clear Lake Specialties website to book an appointment. The patient portal scheduled me for 3 weeks out. The scheduler allows you to give a date range and morning or afternoon appointment. If you go to the CLS website choose my provider then choose book an appointment which will give you specific appointment days and time. I was able to book an appointment there 9 days before the other appointment. The only other problem is some odd things about patients having to jump through hoops to get appropriate documentation for insurance authorizations and it taking time and causing delays in treatment. read more

Would give no stars ... daughter has been seeing the same cardiologist for years. Went in today for annual tests, after an hour the TOTALLY INCOMPETENT receptionist says she can't figure out how to approve her insurance (it wasn't new) even though it was verified yesterday. She says it could take 2 weeks and we would have to reschedule... at the end of September!! Dr. Ben is great, but office staff sucks. Guess we have to find a new cardiologist . I am so disappointed with services at CLS Neurology office in Webster today. I have for weeks tried to get a form for Galveston Appraisal District. I`m disabled a needing a document to confirm my disability to reduce my home taxes. I usually try not to fill complaints like this , it makes you sense to treat there clients like this. In this crazy economy finding ways to save is very important. I have call them multiple times, left message but not even one call back or even one response to date. Its horrible that some medical companies just don`t care about there patients, it would take five minutes to fill out this form. DO NOT go to Dr Enakuaa! She is the most rude and condescending doctor I have ever encountered. She completely dismissed all of my symptoms and concerns with not one single test even being done!! She kept telling me "you're normal, you're normal" and proceeded to talk to me like I'm an idiot! When I say she was condescending, that's not even a strong enough word for her behavior. She even questioned my allergies which I have had my entire life! I later went to another doctor who said her license should be revoked. If you or your loved ones are looking for an endocrinologist, DO NOT go to Dr Enakuaa!! I wish I could rate her a 0. A 1 is way too much! read more

Pain management clinic has the rudest, most incompetent staff I've ever encountered. The wait is at least 1.5-2 hours. They really don't care about their patients. I even witnessed them making fun of an elderly gentleman. I have other Physicians with CLS health that are awesome, but this clinic can't even get my personal information correct. Third time I have seen Dr. Rios over several years. All different issues. Love that in one visit they take X-rays, Dr. Rios himself reads them, explains what is wrong, prescribes the needed physical therapy or self exercises, and an appropriate level of pain management while working through the issue. Tough getting old. But Dr. Rios helps me deal with the resulting issues. At 70+ not good as new, but active and not remaining on meds. Douglas P. read more

Disorganized and poorly run facility. Took 45 minutes to check me in and required me to fill out forms that I had already been requested to fill out online. Asked for my insurance and driver license again after I summitted it using the online system. Your time a patient is not important to CLS Health. The staff is unwilling to help each other when there is a shortage causing a huge backup where the waiting room was full and the Doctors and Nurses were just standing around. I would highly recommend not going to this facility. read more

I saw Dr. Seema Jabeen, MD for a consultation and she assured me that she could perform an annual physical and provide a comprehensive physical report. She charged me for the consultation and seeing her for the physical. And, I received nothing; no results for my blood test or a report. I called the office and they recommended I make another appointment for the results.... And, I was told that I can see my blood results online (I do not understand all of the results). Anyway, I had to consult another doctor for the analysis. So a waste of time and money. On top of bad service and paying twice for no service, I received another bill today... I have called their office multiple times, but there is no answer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROOVIDER AND DOCTOR; THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND A RIP OFF. read more

I arrived at 12:50pm for my 1pm appt however no one was even in the office to check me in until 1:15. Wasn't called back until 1:42. Didn't see the doctor til 2:10pm and was done by 2:16pm. Blatant disregard and disrespect of patients time. Not to mention this is actually my second time arriving to have a new patient visit. I went last week and waited for an hour before I had to leave for my next meeting. They couldn't verify my insurance and they could not call the number on the back of the card because they use a third party to verify. Additionally the parking lot is a nightmare. My first visit I literally circled the huge lot for. 15 minutes before being able to find a spot. The doctor himself seemed fine and was fast because I was experiencing a migraine at the time. The rest of this truly horrific experience(s) (plural because the first attempted visit was a complete waste of my time effort and gas) make it unworth me coming back. read more

This place has gone down hill since Covid. It's hard to get an appt now than a year ago. I use to be a patient of Dr. Clause but after today I'm done. No one in his office has a clue what they are doing. This is my 3rd trip to see him. I was told I could t speak to the doctor about meds after he did surgery on my foot the day before, the doctor did my operation and never showed up for 2 days and I got a phone call from him. I was told I didn't have an appt to see him the next time after making a follow up and today I was told he was not in the office and I was late for my appt and it was at 930 not 945 the time I made and the time I got 2 reminder calls for. This is 100% bs. I'd like to not lose my foot but this office can't get it together and I'm not sticking around to watch while my root falls off. read more

The lack of time management for appointments is disappointing. The desk staff in CLS foot and ankle is unable to provide a wait time. The lack of respect for individuals time is unacceptable. They ask you to show up early and still run over an hour behind and they have a sign that says "if your late 15 mins or more your appointment will be rescheduled." I love this location, all of the doctors that I have met and go to are among the best that I have seen my whole life. Dr. Rashid, Dr. Wegge, and Dr. Pillai go above and beyond to listen and take care of you. Not only are the doctors amazing but their staff are outstanding. Everything is so convenient from how your records are shared to whichever doctor you see, quest and imaging being on site, to the pharmacy down stairs. You don't have to do much but show up and they not only handle everything but they treat you with the upmost respect and care. Highly recommend!! read more

I had been in pain for years due to my fibromyalgia.  I have visited several Doctors and tried many medications with little to no pain relief until I met Dr. Khalil.  He did a comprehensive evaluation of my issues and suggested steroid shots in my most painful areas.  I had the shots in my neck and back and for the first time in along time the pain is better.  I no longer wake up at night because of the pain.  It has been a great experience after the years of suffering.  I highly recommend Dr. Khalil if you want positive results. read more

I was in the Hematology/Oncology suite today around 2pm and the patient ahead of me was struggling to speak and tried to tell the lady at the front desk that she didnt have an appointment. The lady at the desk, Cheronda, I think, never looked up or acknowledged the patient was even there. The patient told her again that she was having a bad reaction to something and needed to be seen right away. You could see and hear that the patient wasnt breathing normally either. The girl finally looked at the patient with a disinterested look on her face and told the patient to write her info on the clip board. The patient wrote her info and sat down. I was really irritated by the way this patient was treated. She was alone and had no one to speak on her behalf. That front desk person needs some serious coaching. She definitely doesnt need to be working with patients face to face with that attitude read more

I saw Dr. Regina Pillai today for a post pneumonia check up. It was the best medical experience I've ever had. The technician was professional yet personable. If I could give this practice a zero star I would. I have had nothing but a hard time that has put even more strain on my heath while dealing with multiple doctors and the staff. Do yourself a favor and go to almost any other doctor, you will receive better treatment. I have seen 3 different doctors within this practice and each one has done nothing but brush off my concerns, make me feel as though my diagnosis was "No big deal" (when I had almost died a week prior), and done nothing to try to get me off medication that has long term side affects as well as being very expensive. If you or anyone you even remotely like is referred to a physician here, RUN do not walk away. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, including my worst enemy. They do not care about taking care of you as a patient, or making sure you feel comfortable with the level of care you receive. On top of that, due to some events that happened while try to leave this practice and getting my medical records transferred, I do not believe this practice follows HIPAA guidelines, as they transferred my records without a medical release form, then they would not transfer them, then they sent them to a completely different person than who I had specifically listed at my new practice. Overall I would not recommended to Satan himself, and I will NEVER allow my family or friends to be treated by any doctor or nurse at this facility again. read more

Dr. Khalil is not the premier healthcare I'm used to see in this area. Called and the next available appointment was a month ahead. Booked it and waited patiently. The day of the appointment, showed 45 mins in advance for the paperwork and after 25 mins there, they told me they had no appointment for me. Their record showed I called but no appointment was made- really? Not an apology and pretty much I was told it was my fault. Terrible admin staff without knowledge of proper customer care. First of all let me say that Dr. Peck-Sammon is wonderful----that is when you can get to her or any other Physician. Last week I tested positive for Covid. I am 77 years old and justly concerned for complications. I called CLS two days in a row and was promised a call back with what to do next--NOTHING! NO call either day. Today is day 9. My blood pressure shot up to 194 over 98. I called the "urgent, speak to a doctor line." I was told that Dr. Peck-Salmmon was only taking "telescalls today and that my appointment would be at 3:30 I asked to see another physical do the severity of the problem. I didn't car to wait 5 hours. The answer was no physicians available. "Someone" will return your call. It is now 4:15----still nothing. It would appear that they are great with routine visits and billing insurance, but totally unavailable when you need a doctor. I plan to call them again now and will repost the results. So far, it appears to be STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN!!!!!!! read more

I found Regina Pillai after being dissatisfied with another pulmonary doctor a couple of years ago, and I have hit the jackpot! Every single employee that I encounter from front desk to the interns, etc are so very nice it almost made me suspicious (Ha!) She greets me with "good morning, beautiful." She is extremely focused on ME and what I need, and I truly feel like the most important person in the room. She also asks (more than once) what SHE can do to help ME; it is obvious that her time spent with me is focused and not distracted. She also won't send me for any unnecessary tests and explains my results in easy to understand (tell it like it is) language. The office building she is in could certainly use a few dozen more parking spaces. read more

I have been trying for Two weeks to get an appointment. I have been told repeatedly that there computers were down, or the doctor was on vacation. I just got new insurance and they were named as my PCP. I tried calling today and was told the computers were down again after being on hold for 22 minutes. I have a lung infection was told to follow up with my primary care doctor. They said it will be another two weeks before I can get an appointment, in the meantime. What exactly should I do? Just go back to the ER which is expensive. Please if you have a choice, don't choose Clear lake specialities as your pcp. You will die before you get an appointment. They don't really care. I don't understand how it could be this difficult. I am calling my insurance company now and changing my PCP. I suggest you do that as well. read more

Terribly unhelpful front desk staff. Girl put me on hold until they closed to avoid helping me. I left a voicemail for the manager and never heard from him. Terrible Customer service. This was all the icing on the cake to the run around I have been getting about a referral. Really?!! You only have one person who can help with that? And apparently no one can get a hold of her?! This is also not the first time I got the run around with this staff. It took me 3 months for me to get lab results that I kept calling about and they still never gave them to me. I finally booked an appointment and asked the doctor to show them to me in person. Who has time for that?!! I let that one go but geez this is obviously a problem since here I am getting the run around again! Let me say the GOOD first, the new office is nicer. Now, on to what prompted this review. I am a mother to an infant and arranging child care is not easy! Having said that, the day of my appointment my care provider let me know they had to leave no later than 11:30am and my appointment was at 10am. I specially asked if the dr ran on time, as I knew time was critical. I was instructed to come in early before my appointment to fill out paperwork and whatnot. I arrived at 9:45am, I had all my Paperwork filled out and copay paid all before 10am. I sat there until 10:35am!! I asked the front office what the status was on my 10am appointment as I had stressed how imperative it is that I got in timely, I was told there was 2 patients before me as my paperwork took me so long! So I requested my copay to be returned, the only thing done timely was refunding my money. Very upsetting as I needed a new inhaler for my asthma!! read more

Dr Khan is a very thorough thyroid doctor. She left no stone unturned. (Tested me for everything possible) As a cancer survivor she didn't want to miss anything. She has a very good bedside manner and the staff is friendly. read more

I like my Dr. okay but the front desk staff is very unprofessional and extremely rude. I ALWAYS have to wait 30-45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to get into the room to see my Dr. and then sometimes I have to wait in the room again. I really just need to go through the hassle of finding another Dr. I feel like this office has absolutely NO respect for my time. It is especially irritating when I am asked to sign a paper agreeing to pay $25 if I miss an appointment, (I have never missed an appointment) but they can't even get me in near my appointment time even though I show up early for EVERY appointment! read more
