This was around 8pm, brewery was empty except 1 other patron, brewmaster, singer, and barmaid. No wait for service therefore, I wanted to sample the jalapeño beer. Upon initial sip, you taste jalapeño but the aftertaste is definitely sour pickle w a slight burn, later on it gave slight heartburn. The Carolina Reaper beer which is spicy and hot was available but the taps would have to be reconnected. The bar maid explained that it burned going in and out so I declined. The seating appeared to more outside than in, a few tables, cushion seats, and a pew was visible inside. Stage for open mic night, the singer was one man, Johnny Cash-type country voice. I'm not a big beer drinker as use to be but there are distinct flavors here that can be explored. Laid back atmosphere.

I think because they were very busy the manager ( from NJ) was harder to deal with than usual ( don't know as I've never been there) on the ride up in the elevator the people getting in said " Good Luck" to us . So far no stomach issues and it's been a couple of hours. We had a charcuterie board that was delicious. The only gluten were pencil breadsticks. I ate cheese and grapes and pickled okra. It was very fresh and good. I had the fresh trout meal which included creamed corn and a few baby grilled carrots. There were two pieces. It was really tasty . They have one gluten free desert : strawberry shortcake type deal. Almond cake with strawberry confiet. It was really delicious. The head chef is gluten free so I felt safe eating there. My other family members had a breakfast burrito and chicken lettuce wraps. They both seemed to enjoy their meals. I will most probably give it another shot on a non holiday to see if they have more luck with finding another coffee press ( they apparently were all in use or they truly just had one?) and to see if seating of your choice is more accommodated.
