Came here with out planning to come here.... It was a Sunday night, my friend is totally into Mexican clubs. I saw this place and I said lets try it... No cover charge... that was a plus Walked in, the venues was not crowded at all... The bar is clean and well stocked. There is a DJ playing music Venue is nicely decorated and clean Bartender was friendly and efficient Drinks are rather pricey..... $15 for a margarita $42 for a bucket of beer ..... All I can say is that I asked him for House music because they put everything and anything and instead all I heard from the DJ is that there were other people asking for music l. Granted I had asked for house music over two hours ago and I never heard any house music. I understand that it's a Latin club, but they always put some sort of house, Whether it be YMCA or some sort of Latin house music, but instead all he gave me is excuse excuses, after excuses, therefore, the DJ that would have played tonight was not here , Easter night. The DJ that they had tonight did not cut it. Plus , the music he put tonight was not authentic to the individuals who usually go on Sunday night. read more

Horrible experience, the waitress at the inner bar is a very frustrated old woman. She first told me, didn't asked me, to move away from the stool I was sitting on, then she abused me by pushing me for no reason at all while I was dancing. The owner just heard me reporting the waitress but didn't do anything about it. This business need to train their bartenders in customer service. I was told the bartender old lady had other incidents with customers. I believe they want you to keep drinking or else they will push you away even though we pay to get in. read more

Couple things that are mentionable about this club. Saturday night crowd was fun, lively and lots of people having a great time in the dance floor. Never had a more attentive bartender than the lady at the front bar! The band and DJ were exceptional. Lastly, as a guerro, the club was not intimidating and was very inclusive! Mexican vibe for sure! If you like to dance - there are plenty of dancers to be found! Lol Not the most expert dancers but you'll have fun! The beers are pricey $7... but for a Sunday, it's a good live band and no cover! The DJ will take one song request but won't promise it's the right version!! First Mex Club I came to, like that it is local and had a great night! Drinks are good and music is excellent! It is cozy but enjoyable. Staff is friendly and accomodating, seating is very limited and was pretty packed. Will be coming back again, but for now El Paraiso is where I will continue to go. read more

Looked like a decent place to have fun till they had to charge $10 for entrance on fridays then It whent up to $15 i mean place its ok but not the best alot of old people. I Recommend leaving 10 min. Earlier too many fights and even shootings happen after. read more

Authentic mexican dance club you will ever find in SL. Nice atmosphere, guys buy ladies drinks, guys ask ladies to dance, no drama, fun place if you are already drunk and if you're not used to an authentic atmosphere. Good for salsa, merengue, banda, cumbia and reggaeton dancing. They've bands that play. Bouncers are nice especially if you are regulars, cover isn't so bad, and free before 9pm. The dancefloor is small but isn't so bad. Gets crowded on Saturdays and not so much on Fridays. Dress code is cool, jeans, tube top for ladies, cowboy hats and boots for guys, not all of everyone dress like that. If you were used to going to Fandango Latino when it was open then you would like Caliente. read more
