I went to Vinyl Room on 4/21/26 around 10pm with my friend, her boyfriend, and my wife and it was super fun! Not a lot of people were there, so it was a relaxing environment to talk to them in. We got so many drinks -- they're typical prices for bars, but I am very glad about my selection being drinks I thoroughly enjoyed. Jarrito Jam was my first one, it was delicious, but I honestly bought it to hold the little clay pot it came in. Nutty By Nature was my second drink. I enjoyed it, but it lacked the pistachio aspect of the flavorings. Orange Crush was my third drink and I loved it more than Nutty By Nature. My spouse got a Tiki Track and Tropicana and loved both of them a lot! I also loved my spouse's Tropicana drink and plan on getting it tonight when we go back to get my wallet I left there! This place has such amazing vibes! It's honestly one of my favorite spots because it's a super welcoming environment where you can just go dance and have fun without the whole club scene. It feels casual and comfortable. Plus there's always parking and the neighborhood feels really safe, which makes a big difference. I really want to shout out Mellisa behind the bar. She is seriously the best. I don't drink, and she went out of her way to make me incredible mocktails every time I came in. Not just one option either. She gave me choices, switched it up, and made drinks that actually felt fun and thoughtful instead of an afterthought. You can tell she really cares about what she's doing. She's super attentive, checks in at the right times, and just has a great energy that makes you feel taken care of. Service team is really friendly and brings great energy to the space. Tropicana - rum, guava, mint, lime, syrup - incredibly refreshing, citrusy Pretty in Pink - gina, strawberry, green tea, lemon, syrup - also refreshing with the strawberry and green tea balancing out nicely Electric Boom - vodka, kumquat, butterfly tea, coriander, lime, syrup - another refreshing drink, citrusy, bright All three of the drinks I tried were vibrant, flavorful, and artistic. While the menu does have more spirit forward options, it seems like a big part of the menu leans semi-tropical, citrusy, and bright. The place was very Vibey almost felt like a bar you would find an SF so this was a great addition to the Burlingame area. There are a lot of booth as well as counter space. My partner and I ordered two drinks: 1. Pretty in pink - gin, strawberry green tea, lemon syrup - this drink was so good. I finished it within a few minutes. 2. Tropicana - rum guava mint lime syrup. Also super good and refreshing. 3. Electric boom - vodka, kumquat, butterfly tea, coriander, lime syrup. My pallet for cocktails are typically leaning towards light fruity refreshing, and all of these hit the mark. They are happy hour deals are pretty sick as well, so I would definitely be coming back after a workday with some coworkers! read more

Came here on a Saturday night after dinner, before the crowd so it was nice and quiet. Love the cozy vibe and friendly bartenders. I usually asked for low proof cocktails on night outs (I'm lightweight and don't like alcohol taste/smell in my drinks) but not all bar/club could make me drinks that I like. Bartender here taught me how to ask for the exact amount of alcohol in my cocktail in the future and it worked. I tried their Snowdrift (this one can't be made low proof but it's nice for cold nights) and Midori Sour. I recently received a free drink coupon in the mail and decided it was finally time to try Vinyl Room. I've lived in the area for quite a few years and typically choose Barrelhouse or other bars for a night out. To be honest, the strict dress code that used to be posted on the door was a big reason I never made the effort to stop in. It felt excessive, even for Burlingame, so I'm glad to see that this has changed. The updated ambiance is a significant improvement, creating a much more welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The cocktail menu is extensive and clearly well thought out. I tried a guava cocktail and a pistachio cocktail, both of which were absolutely fantastic. They were very creative, well-balanced, and easy to drink. If the rest of the menu is as good as those two, you really can't go wrong. My only concern was with the service. Despite a roughly 1:1 staff-to-customer ratio on the night I visited, the service was surprisingly slow. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but with a little more attentiveness from the staff, this place could easily become a go-to spot in the area. I'll definitely be back to give it another try. read more

Many years ago, it was an incredible bar--you had a great time and the music was good. Now, the DJs there don't play good music and are disrespectful. You can be there with your partner, and they come up asking if they can dance with you, even when they've been drinking. There's also no privacy anymore--if you're trying to go without anyone knowing, it's impossible because they post your dances on social media. The dance instructor is also disrespectful. She's a woman who, if she feels like it, will record you while you're having a drink with the flash on, without caring how uncomfortable it makes you feel. read more
