It was a little quieter than usual since it was the weekend before college classes started, but that just made it easier to relax and enjoy the night with my date. Of all the clubs I've been to around the world, this one stands out--but not in a good way. The atmosphere was far from enjoyable. We visited for Latina Night, expecting something similar to clubs in Latin American countries, but this experience was completely different. Honestly, I don't even know how to describe it. Clubs in Mexico or the U.S. are so much better, but this one? I have no words. To make matters worse, I took off my coat for a moment, and it was stolen. When I reported it to security, they said they couldn't help because I hadn't left it in their secure area to get a ticket. Basically, if you take off your coat, it's fair game for theft. The security staff seemed indifferent, as though this happens often and they simply don't care. The crowd wasn't great either--I couldn't figure out what kind of vibe they were going for, and honestly, I have no idea why I went there in the first place. Maybe curiosity got the best of me, but it was a bad choice. Terrible service, bad crowd, and the whole experience was off. It's not a bad place if you know what you're getting yourself into LOL!!! I read up on the place feom reviews and the website. So I knew exactly what I wanted and how to get it... VIP Bottle Service so we could party the way we wanted and also chill when necessary!! The price varies on the bottle brand and number of, but it actually worked out since at the bar you're gonna pay for a bottle anyway, especially if you come with friends at least with the bottle service you get a table and couches!!! The DJ kicked Butt all night and kept the dance flow on point!! Couldn't have asked for a better combination of music all night. Our group stayed on the dance floor from 10PM-2AM. The serving girls were very nice and stacked a super friendly more than expected in a fun way they danced with the girls in our party and made for wonderful eye candy while doing so!!! Club db can be hit or miss on the weekends but the music ALWAYS hits. Sometimes the crowd is thick and people are letting loose and other times it's a little scant and almost seems too bright in there. That being said, the DJ(s) they have seems to do a great job getting and keeping the crowd moving and on the dance floor. Bartenders do a good job of getting you your cold drinks. There are two dance floors here and one is usually playing Latino music with the other side playing hip-hop or EDM. A little bit of something for everyone. Called later to ask if they had security footage so I could press charges. They hung up on me and blocked my number. They didn't kick this man out when I reported it in person. Save your money, time, energy, and effort! Came here on a Saturday night 11/04 and was disappointed! They have two floors, but only one was opened. The side that was opened was barely full! The DJ was horrible! There are way too many songs in the world for you to play a song twice within a 1hr time period! No variety in music, just mostly Latin/Latin hip hop. The drinks were standard. Security took the lanyard off my keys lol, super random! If you have a lanyard on your keys, don't bring it. Overall, I'd give it a 1 star, and probably won't be back. Was there last night celebrating a friend's Birthday and and this has been the worse night club I have ever been to. First we had bottle service we got 2 bottles and 6 buckets of beer. We arrived at 10:04pm and changed us a cover charge because we were 4 minutes late we had 14 people in our group that to start was crazy, I have never been to a place that does that when you have bottle service that's just my personal experiences. The music selection wasn't the greatest I can see why they only have 1 side open, because they are not good. Then when it ended the bouncers very rudely said "GET OUT". The lights had just came on and we were all looking for our stuff phones, purses, etc and they kept kicking us out repeatedly saying "GET OUT". Once we are outside we came in 3 cars so we are trying to figure out who will ride with who and then here comes the bouncers again and disrespected me directly by making a comment that I was intoxicated, well no shit we were all drinking. And again told us to leave rudely. Now I do have to say our waitress was AMAZING I would give her 10 stars but that's about it. Went yesterday night as a last minute plan, just wanted to go out and dance. It wasn't as packed as I remembered it once was. And instead of having 2 rooms they only had 1 available room that played mix music. I loved when both rooms were open bc I would mainly spend my time in the room that was playing Spanish music (reggaeton, merengue, cumbia). Over all the energy and excitement of the people there was almost non existent. Only the few times the dj played Spanish music was when I noticed people were getting into it and dancing. As part of my venture into latin clubs, we came to this spot in Downey. We parked at the rear of the building, and walked around to the front. The line was long, but we worked our magic and skipped the better part of it. Cover was $10, and it was well worth it. The clubs has a clean, contemporary decor. There are two dance floors, and the music is a mix of hip hop and latin music in both. There is a smoking area with plenty of seating, and we sat down here for a bit to enjoy our drinks and people-watch. The drinks were reasonably priced, and the crowd had a quite a bit of eye candy. This club has a younger crowd when compared to Giggles in Glendale, and the crowd was more aesthetically pleasing. We didn't stay long, as this was the start of our bar hopping for the night.
