We had a babysitter qand wanted to go out for a drink. We went to Club FT because it was close, and Yelp directed us there. The service was pretty good. I love to try new things, but most bartenders seem like jerks when you ask them to help. How does anyone ever try anything different if they have to know what they want when they come in? The girl at the bar was great, and the drinks were priced right. They had some decent stuff on tap also. It wasn't too loud, you could talk to other people at your table. Club Foot's the best. Dim but clean, cheap but friendly, plain but atmospheric. Bartender's always friendly, and service is quick even when it's packed. Great place to have some drinks and some laughs. read more

Does this place still smell like urine and feet? I've been there about five times and I have never liked it. I do like the walls though and the music on the jukebox usually. I did not order any food. The service was not good. I got ignored. Hopefully they got the stink out of there. read more

The place to go on the east side of Detroit for cheap, cheap drinks and a few good laughs. The decorations are ... (there's a mounted fish at least as old as I am, a picture of cats smoking in the bathroom, a coconut, and a variety of classy latch-hook rugs) interesting. The bar stocks just about anything the seasoned dive-goer would look for: Bell's, Red Stripe, Blue Moon, Bud seasonal, and what dive would be complete without PBR? Club F T has THE cheapest drinks in town. There are numerous DJs that frequent Club F T, as well as the occasional weekend show. Although you're not going to catch Van Halen on their small club tour, you might sink a few quarters in the F T juke and hear VH in all their glory, or at least hear a singer do his best David Lee impression without ever having paid cover. read more

Pool table, booths with badass art, long-ass bar, cheap drinks, food, great bartenders. Perfect corner bar !!!

Cash only FT seems like a decent little dive with some character (and characters). A string of presumed-regulars lined the bar rail, and we were one of two booths seated. The place has that old divey charm, which I like. The raised booths and murals are fun too. The bartender was friendly and efficient, and happy to hook us up with a couple $1 High Life drafts (what?!) She was even attentive enough to check on us before our glasses were empty, although we only stayed for one, probably because it was super cold in the bar. They boast a pool table and dart board, and there's a jukebox near the door, but it didn't look to be plugged in, so we had to listen to a few older gentlemen at the bar yammer on about the joys of heroin (yikes). With the right crowd, I could see this being a great place to hang all night. But between the foul-mouthed retirees, the apparent heating issue, and the no-credit/debit card situation, I won't rush back. read more

My first impression of the staff was awesome! Seemed like a diverse environment. Quiet, cheap drinks, cash only, and the only food is a burger. All in all i was thinking 4 star review... then I came in on another night... if you're not a hipster who absolutely loves reggae, this place is not for you. the regulars get loud and drunk and harrass anyone not in their clique (had to move down the bar on one occasion). behind the bar, there is a security camera that regularly shows a bunch of dudes (and some of the bar staff!) going out back to smoke a joint together. they are so close to the door, it stinks up the whole place, so i guess it's good stuff. read more

A hidden gem on the east side. The drinks are priced fair and cheap. The staff is great and attentive. The crowd there is very laid back. Overall a very cool place to get a drink and socialize. I highly recommend it. read more

Found this little "gem" or at first glance a"gem" But after sitting in there for two drinks, I later felt that the bartender felt he was too good to serve us and felt he was totally annoyed to have acknowledge that we wanted to be in his "only the in crowd can be in here "bar. He was so douchy! We tried to give him the benefit of doubt. We went in there on 3 different occasions. And each time the same bartender treated us like shit. It's not like we ate bad tippers either we alas tip a buck for each drink. 2 drinks 2 bucks, so on and so on. We work in the industry and not at some corporate olive garden place. In real bars! The bartender is just an A-hole! So my suggestion is to just stay clear of this bar! Especially if your not into tiny dive bars. Which I really enjoy. But sadly enough, not this one. read more

Club FT is a chill location with cheap drinks. I've never eaten here before but always end up making new friends when I stop in. Bartenders are always super attentive, great music selection, and they have a pool table! NOTE: This is definitely a hangout for the 'alternative' 20s and 30s crowd. read more

So far this bar is great. The burgers are delish. Sucks that they only accept cash and the atm was out of money but i dig the place

Poor service and rude staff. People have been banned for simply asking for change back in order to leave an appropriate tip, and the staff are known to harass anyone who speaks negatively of the bar. read more

It's my favorite dive bar of all time. It has a pool / darts, the BEST jukebox EVER, a friendly/attentive staff and they have great burgers and appetizers for an excellent price. It's been a few years but I bet they even still have a super cheap Burger & Brew (& fries) special at lunch. One thing nobody will disagree with are the prices! Everything is hella reasonable. They always have specials as well! read more
