She had also never been to this studio before. We walk by it when in the area and it looks really nice so we tried it out together. When we got there and went to the front desk, the staff member saw it was our first time and had us sign the waiver. Afterwards she said "enjoy your class". Knowing it was our first time she did not explain where everything was in the studio like where the class would actually be, where to put our stuff, how to work the lockers.... She didn't offer us a towel, nothing. So after wandering around we found the locker area and put our stuff in there. Couldn't figure out how to lock it so thankfully no one took our stuff bc we left it unlocked. We found the studio and went in and found some spots. A sign on the door explains that the back row is reserved for filming so we avoided that area and went towards the front. I grabbed the equipment for my friend and I and we stretched and got ready for class. The instructor came in (Michelle) and from the jump she had a mean attitude. She was telling a lot of us that we weren't lined up on the circles correctly and she was saying how class already started and people should be prepared. She never asked if it was anyone's first time at the studio, if there was anyone new to Pilates, nothing. Just a lack of studio manners that makes a class welcoming. She then proceeded to get frustrated when I guess some new people weren't getting the moves she was giving verbal cues on and she said something along the lines of "make sure you have your listening skills on" instead of maybe being nicer and explaining it a different way, or even showing the move to that person/ fixing their form. As the class went on, her attitude got better and it was more enjoyable but the beginning was rough. Not to mention girls who weren't in the back row were recording which was annoying. The instructor was knowledgeable about Pilates but I would suggest being a little more welcoming. You never know (especially when you don't ask) if it's someone's first time. My friend and I agreed the studio would have been better with just a better attitude from everyone there. The class was good, we sweat and it was a good workout. The vibes were just off. Seemed like just another very pretentious Miami Pilates studio. Disappointed and not sure I come back.

This studio at Bikram Hot Yoga Miami is hugemongeous compared to others i've been to. The instructors are all very friendly and they all have their own way of conducting the class. Some just stand on the platform and go through the whole routine without ever moving. Others like to move around a bit and call you out by name to make sure you're challenging yourself and doing the pose correctly which is sometimes a bit emabrrassing if you're a regular...but like Nicol S. said there is a good mix of people from beginners to more advanced, really young to very mature, fit and a bit on the heavier side, etc.... I believe they do follow in their cliam that says that this yoga is for everyone! PLUS, they have a very cool special for First-Time locals: unlimited classes for $39!!!! which is outstanding considering this yoga practice is not cheap!!! It's very challenging, and feels like torture every time i do it, but it's so worth the health benefits and you feel so proud of yourself after completing 90 minutes of sweet, hot torture as I like to call it! Be prepared to sweat,,,I mean get drenched due to the heater blasting for 90 minutes straight!!! Love it!

While I love challenging HIIT workouts, my health coach suggested that I add Pilates / yoga into my routine at least once a week to help with stretching and also the mind body connection. Enter Pilates strong- it's a reformer workout and I absolutely love it. What I love about taking Alma's classes is she gets to know what areas you need work on and helps you focus on them. She also has great music. I also enjoy the owner, Nancy's, classes when I can make it to those. Overall this is a super lovely studio. I have a lot of friends who are skeptical about trying Pilates because the reformer can be intimidating. I would definitely say to try Pilates strong, as the class size is 6 or less so you get a lot of individual attention.

I find it very disrespectful to cancel a class and don't say anything. The studio is conveniently located near my house and has parking but right now all I can tell you is I woke up early on a Saturday for nothing!

The smaller group made the session feel really personalized and focused, which I appreciated, especially for a workout where form and control matter so much. The instructor, Ophelie, was very nice and welcoming. She offered clear cues and gentle corrections without making it feel intimidating, and the overall vibe in the studio was calm but motivating. The space itself is clean and modern, with a good atmosphere for zoning in and getting a quality workout. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the drive it's a bit out of the way for me personally. But if you're closer to Coconut Grove or don't mind the commute, Tremble is definitely worth checking out for a more intimate, focused class experience with a great instructor like Ophelie.

A friend from social media hosted a group of us there and it was so so good! The 45 minute FIIT workout was sooo good. The just was great and helped keep us moving. And the full body burn was great. Our instructor was the best! My body still feels it. I love the shower area with everything you need from towels to shampoo and body wash. The area is super clean and comfy for clothing changes. Everyone there was very friendly. I can't wait to go back with the girls.

I have a Florida ID. My father also has a secondary residence in Miami. Yet somehow, after arriving for what was advertised as a free first class, I was told my dad didn't qualify and was charged about $80 for the class and mat. What made the experience worse was my interaction with Jara. She claimed she had left me a voicemail explaining the relevant requirement beforehand. I still have all of my voicemails. That voicemail does not exist. Then, instead of simply resolving the issue, she held onto my ID while trying to upsell me on a "50% off" next class. There is something almost absurd about charging someone for what they reasonably believed was a free introductory class, then immediately presenting a discount on another class as though this were a customer-service solution. Maybe Yoga Joint has some technical interpretation of its promotion that explains all of this. But if you advertise a "free first class," the burden should be on the business to make any disqualifying conditions clear before the customer arrives - especially when the customer has a Florida ID. There are plenty of yoga studios in Miami. I'd recommend going somewhere that treats an introductory offer as a way to earn trust rather than something you need to litigate at the front desk. I've found places like Mimi Yoga to be far more understanding. One star. The yoga itself became almost irrelevant compared with the way the business handled the transaction.

Modern/ high intensity Pilates don't really focus on those three things as much. Not necessarily better or worse just a different focus. The studio itself is very cutesy, girly and gives Miami when you're inside. So far, the instructors I had were kind, patient and passionate about Pilates. It exudes through their guidance during class. I'm a beginner so if you are worried about that, please don't let that stop you! If times allow, they will correct your form or you can look at someone next to you for guidance. Breathe through it. Dani, my instructor was a 10/10. So sweet and patient and makes me want to be a true Pilates princess lol. Make sure you park on 73rd st or near that area for street parking. You can even park around Powerhouse gym area and make the walk. The parking garage across the apartment building the studio is located in is pricey, $12, compared to about $3/$4 an hour for street parking . It's a little tricky /tight in there too. I've been here two times through Class Pass and I would love to continue to come back and improve my practice.
