(If I could give 6 stars, I would!) Club Pilates of Denville has been absolutely life-changing for me. I've struggled with injuries and arthritis for years, and Pilates has helped me both physically and mentally. Even more than physical therapy, and it's more affordable too! The instructors are amazing. They are super knowledgeable, supportive, and they truly care. If you listen to them and follow their guidance, you'll get stronger safely and avoid injury. I paid for unlimited classes and every time I was in class the ac never worked or the staff turned the ac off in the middle of the class. You can see the instructor do it. Also the staff at the front desk do it. The rule is 68 degrees per Alex one of the managers. Well, I finally got annoyed and said that I need to cancel my membership due to the temperature of the room. Well, there was a new manager or district manager that was so rude. He said ok I will cancel you now. I am very disappointed. For almost 300 a month they should have ac on. I miss going to the classes but don't miss the attitude issues with the staff. Just because they are cold it is not beneficial to have the studio at 76!! Cost of electricity might be the issue. read more

The Pilates aspect of these clubs is not the problem. The billing practices are. The only way to end their billing is to sign a form in person. It is extremely unethical. You can't stop in the app, etc. Until they change this practice, it is unethical to go here. read more

I showed up SIX minutes late to a class because I was stuck at a red light for 5 minutes and they kicked me out of the class! Then when I tried to cancel my membership they charged me for another month costing me another $300! They won't reverse the charge because it is part of their "policy". If you're going to go there buy classes as you go. NEVER JOIN!!! read more

I refuse to go to this facility, who REFUSES to mandate masks, thus contributing to this RISING spread....and continues to ARGUE that shields on exercising people are SAFE...as the CDC says they are NOT... This Club, along with Morristown, allows face shields in an enclosed space INSTEAD of masks as NJ COVid cases surge to 4,495 today...rather than follow CDC... "Compared to all these varieties of face masks, a face shield was able to block only 2% of the cough aerosol. This clearly indicates that a face shield isn't nearly as effective as the most basic neck gaiter or cloth mask. Opting for any of these face masks and wearing them properly and regularly can therefore offer much more protection against aerosols containing the SARS-CoV-2 virus than face shields can." read more

i took a free introduction class. the class itself was fine, unfortunately after the free 30 minute class i was hounded by repeated texts and phone calls. the sales tactics are relentless. i had to block the various numbers they reached me from. i am an adult, if i want to join i will, i do not need to be bothered with phone calls while i am at work. if i wanted to join, now i will not as this is the type of operation that loves you until you sign up and then they are in to their new mark. also i keep hearing that classes are so full you never get to actually use your membership, this makes sense as their goal seems to sign up as many people as possible regardless of how many people they can actually accommodate. not good. read more

As a "retired" pilates instructor myself, I was thrilled to get back into practicing pilates and it being so close to home. It was OK at first- I enjoyed the classes and I signed up for 3 months in advance. The problem is you have to use all the classes you pay for in advance within a month and if you don't you lose them. That's fine if the classes were actually available to book on the app you HAVE to use. The classes are booked 2 months in advance, how am I supposed to use all my classes? They can't be bothered with answering phones or emails so I can't explain that to anyone. When they finally responded to my one email they admitted other people are frustrated about this as well but then offered no way to make it right or roll my classes to the next month. Also, they continued to charge me when my months were up and I had no way to cancel because no one answers the phone or emails. It was a really frustrating experience and a waste of money because I lost a lot classes by no fault of my own. The system does not work well. You can't automate everything. At least make the classes people purchase available for 6months-1 year rather than 1 month. It's impossible to use them with such limited class availability. It's a shame because I really enjoyed going there and having pilates so close to home. read more

It's unfortunate because the class itself I really enjoyed and the workout was strong. However, the staff is way too persistent and pushy. I did the free 30 minute class from 12-12:30 and from 12:30 to 1:00 the staff was pushing us to get a membership. To the point where they would not let us leave until we made a decision and if we said no they would continue to ask us what is holding us back and why. It felt invasive and unwelcoming. If they were not so persistent and pushy I would have considered a membership but I was very turned off by the staff asking our reasons why we didn't want a membership. One girl explained that she needs to ask her dad because he would be the one paying for it and one of the staff members said "well call him now while you're here". It felt very soulless and weird. I loved the class itself and the instructor was great so I will be continuing Pilates elsewhere. read more

Be careful before you sign up. I really liked the Pilates itself, however the membership system is not at all what I thought I was signing up for. This place has a lot of issues when it comes to booking. I signed up for the full membership and was told that since I paid for the unlimited monthly (which is not unlimited) I would be able to terminate if I decided prior to the 3 months. After 2 months I decided it would not work with my schedule and the fact that you get put on a waiting list of say 6+ people therefore unlimited NOT really, was not working for me. I was then told I have to wait 3 months before cancelling which was not what they told me when signing up, put a bad taste me my mouth. Also if you don't cancel 12 hours prior you will get charged $15. This is a lot considering you are paying over $250/month to book and there are not available slots. I would consider looking elsewhere if you are on a tight schedule. If you are retired and have nothing else to do but take care of yourself, then this would most likely work for you. You might want to think about going elsewhere for your Pilates. read more

Wonderful classes... motivating instructors... just don't ever let them bill you... pay as You go .... if I had a wish list it would be: For Managers to return phone calls by email or ...text if necessary especially when a client reaches out to you 4-5 times. Be upfront about cancellations... fee... charges..etc. Be honest. Please put clients first...I asked 3 times for owners name and got nowhere. I am a patient girl ... but this is crazy! I thought Ferdinand was super nice at first but I feel disrespected and lied to. Check Facebook reviews .... Seems like I'm not alone. read more

Came here with my mom and had a great experience. The instructors were very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable for my first time doing pilates. The studio was super clean and had great equipment. Ferdinand was super helpful in setting up the classes and answering any questions I had. This is my place of serenity! I have a very bad back. The instructors are wonderful and help me modify movements to keep me working out with the rest of the class. This new gym is terrific! There are 12 reformer machines each containing a bar, hand & foot springs, a mat, exercise box, spring board & more. The instructors give clear directions and are very concerned about individual injuries. They will provide modifications for those that need them. I am totally addicted and go to several classes a week. It's easy to sign up online for classes and this gives me flexibility to switch times if I need to.
