Since my health didn't improve I decided to cancel my membership and on March 16 I sent a message asking for the canceletion. The answer was: first you have to pay the whole month and only then we can cancel - What?? a pro rate bill for half of March??? No way, forget it !!! He is an exceptional asset to the club. He thoroughly explained the membership offerings and facilities, and thoughtfully matched us with trainers and classes aligned with our goals. He has consistently served as a supportive and reliable point of contact. I joined in September 2025 after more than a decade without regular exercise and was completely out of shape. My husband, while naturally active, had never worked out in a gym environment. Based on our medical needs and age--both of us in our 50s--Aaron recommended we train with Matthew Rossello. Matthew is an extraordinary trainer: highly knowledgeable, upbeat, energetic, and genuinely invested in our well-being and progress. Each session is unique, engaging, and tailored to our needs. On days when I feel unmotivated, knowing that Matthew will make the workout both enjoyable and rewarding is what gets me through the door. In just four months, both my husband and I have made progress we never imagined possible. Aaron also recommended Pia's indoor cycling classes, and she has been fantastic. Pia is incredibly entertaining, curates great music, and designs classes that are dynamic and motivating. Her sessions incorporate a variety of movements and speeds, and even include a brief meditation. I truly look forward to her classes--something I never expected to say about cycling! We have also come to enjoy yoga classes with Angela. She brings a calming, mindful approach that helps relax both body and mind, while offering stretches that leave us feeling renewed. The club overall is excellent. The facilities are comprehensive and consistently clean, and the food is outstanding. My only suggestions would be to address maintenance needs in the showers and consider enlarging the sauna--along with adding a more visible clock. Despite these minor points, our experience at Midtown has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to being members for many years to come.

She asked me to just come try it and see for myself that it was nothing like that. Well I did and here I am still hooked on Rachel's class. Boot camp is really nothing more than a neatly choreographed class using cardio, weights, bands and your own body weight to tone your body and burn fat. I love our instructor Rachel and the class. * She is educated in the field and knows what she is talking about. * She is a wealth of exercise and nutrition information. * She always modifies the exercise based on a persons' ability. * She walks the walk. She is in amazing shape but doesn't act like a jerk. :) * Her prices are reasonable. * The class is always on time. * The class is challenging but fun. * The class is NEVER the same. I am extremely happy with the results I've seen since participating in boot camp. Rachel's class has also taught me many exercises that I now do on my own. The class is for ladies only, not that I mind being in a coed class, but it is fun to share time with just the ladies. I challenge anyone to give it a try for a week. I bet you stick around too! P.S. If you do come, ask Rachel to do the splits! She is an amazing ballerina!

Finding the perfect gym, that motivates you and feels like home is rare. I've searched high and…read morelow; and I finally found it at Tapout Fitness. Tucked in a small Publix plaza, Tapout Fitness offers premiere martial-arts infused workouts with highly trained coaches and trainers. If the name Tapout sounds familiar, it's because Tapout Fitness is an extension of the Tapout clothing brand, that officially sponsors combat sport fighters in UFC and WWE. Personally, as a lover of MMA and UFC, I was immediately impressed. Unlike other kickboxing/boxing style gyms, Tapout Fitness is truly focused on teaching proper techniques of each fighting style. Each trainer has extensive martial arts experience and tailor makes workouts that professional fighters practice with all the time. Some workouts are fully focused on kickboxing combinations and techniques, while others also include resistance and interval training exercises with battle ropes and kettle bells. So regardless of your fitness level, you're still getting an amazing workout. On the days I feel like going solo and working at my own pace, I really enjoy the Tapout 20 circuit workouts. Although, they're promoted like a 20 minute workout, I usually triple it for an extra sweat factor. Tapout Fitness literally fulfills everything I ever wanted in a gym and I couldn't recommend it more! I love it here!

If you're in this area of Broward, Weston by far is the best studio! I've been to this studio a few times now and I absolutely love it and call the Weston studio my home away from home. The front desk team greeted me warmly (thank you Matthew!) and each time I arrive for my next class I receive the same warm greeting and all guests receive a warm greeting and welcome them back by name. I've had a few different coaches now, both Adam and Lindsey and they were both amazing- great energy and provide great demos of the workouts and checked on everyone's form. They really provided a great workout! And I saw Nicole will be coaching there now as well (she was in the Plantation studio before and was one of my favorite coaches there!) If you're looking for a great HIIT studio in the Weston/Sunrise area you have to come to OTF!

My big, clumsy, awkward twin teenage boys joined mid-February. I could tell they didn't like it as much as CFMF (their old crossfit gym) where the coaches, just like most crossfit coaches, resemble drill sergeants. When it comes to big, clumsy, awkward teenage boys trying to get into shape, crossfit instructors are just right for the job. Which is why I don't mind spending nearly $300 a month for them to attend. Anyway, I could see a little resistance/reluctance starting to build up in them. Now granted, they are teenage boys and don't get excited about anything but video games, food, sports and girls. So, just 2 and a half months into it, in an instance of acting out, one of the boys took a sports drink and didn't pay for it. Not that he didn't have money, he does have a part time job and not only that, but, the gym is great about charging the account for any drinks or supplements they have available. It was more of a personal disrespect of his coach and TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! He took the drink and the coach watched him take it. That's right, he watched him take it. However, instead of asking the boy "are you going to pay cash for that or do you want to put it on your account?" This coach got into his car and drove straight to my house, knocked on my door and told on him. Now, all disparaging remarks aside, I really did appreciate that he notified me of my sons bad behavior. It helps me, as a parent, to see there is a heart problem that needs to be addressed. My son was wrong, and as most parents would do, I corrected him and the problem and my son ended up writing an apology and paying $5 for a $3 drink, as voluntary restitution. As he stood there at the door and told me all about my sons grand larceny, I sincerely thanked him and assured him I would deal with my son. He then said, "they are not welcome to come back, their contract is terminated." Now I'm not an amazing business man, by any means, but, I know that a teenager's $3 indiscretion is not a good reason to terminate a $3300/yr contract. I mean yes, he made a mistake, but, not an unforgivable mistake. There had to be more to the story, I replied "oh, okay....... why?" He said, "welllllllll, they are not very compliant." When asked to explain, he stated they didn't always fully participate and were sometimes disruptive during the class. I then asked "this is a CrossFit, right?" So, these people are either fat-shamers or they don't like teenagers or are prejudice or maybe they just can't motivate people like drill sergeants, I don't know. Whatever the reason, they couldn't just be honest with me and had to wait for an opportunity to kick the boys out. So, If you never complain about anything, don't need to be motivated by a personal trainer or a coach and are always super excited for a mildly tough workout, then these people will be great for you and they will be glad to take your money. However, if you live in the real world, where you need to motivated by a Drill Instructor just to get out of bed and get dressed (like most teenage boys), then this Barbie gym is probably not for you. They really should take all references of "CrossFit" out of their name and gym, it's false advertising. Anyway, I'm glad we found out how they were before we spent more money there. I just wish they would have let me know a month or two ago that they were not equipped to handle teenagers instead of waiting until things progressed for the worst. Just another teachable moment I guess.
