While visiting Colorado, my bestie and I wanted to take a Pilates class. We both have our own studios back home, so we just wanted a single class. We didn't have any trouble booking a class, although we were likely not at a busier time. We didn't know what to make of the levels, so we just went with a level 1 reformer. While easier than what we're used to back home, it was definitely friendly for all levels, even beginners. There was a wide mix of ages and body types there, which I appreciated. The instructor, Celine, did a good job. I would go back there when visiting town again. The only downside we encountered was the booking process. The only online option we could do was some sort of intro class, which neither of us needed. My friend has booked at other CP locations before, and she was able to just buy and book a single class online. Unfortunately, we had to talk to someone on the phone to book here, which is not preferred for a lot of reasons. read more

This place wasn't for me. I personally did not like the reformer Pilates. I also didn't really like how cold the studio was. I felt very hard to get in a good workout. The membership also makes it very hard to get out of it if you don't wanna do it anymore and I think other people would really enjoy it, but it's just not my cup of tea. read more

I attended this location for a demo class as my first time ever doing Pilates and felt so welcomed! The teachers are amazing and provide very detailed instructions. As someone who is postpartum and has not exercised in years, I was looking for something low impact to help get me back in the game. I never once felt out of place, and every exercise is explained so there's no worries about not knowing what to do. I attend class once a week now and it's become something I look forward to. Definitely recommend if you are new to Pilates or just looking for something low impact to help get your body moving! read more

So I bought a three month membership for a special and literally was only able to get into a couple classes. This studio oversold memberships to people which caused a ton of frustration. If I booked a class online I'd have to be put on the waiting list and I was never notified on the app if I was able to get in , I had to keep checking back. I would never go here again however, someone who worked there advocated for me and the manager gave me part of my money back. For the amount of money, rarely getting into a class and kind of a dingy studio I'd go somewhere else. read more

DO NOT EVER go to this studio, the management here will do everything in their power to take your money and try to charge you even if you are unable to attend classes. My wife has enjoyed Club Pilates over the last decade in 10 or more studios, and never once has she been treated with such disrespect by the management when personal issues or injuries arose. It is truly unfortunate as some the instructors here are really great, but I would never, EVER condone anyone attend this studio after the sheer amount of absurd red tape put up in order to cheat their paying customers. BUYER BEWARE: You are forced into a 3 month agreement without your knowledge and unable to cancel until afterwards. Do not listen to the employee when they state "you can cancel at anytime as long as you provide a 30 day notice". I am truly disappointed in the club. Within my first week, I had advanced to the 2.0 classes and wanted more. They do not offer classes above 2.0 at this time and cater to a demographic not within my age range. I spoke of these concerns and why I was looking to cancel however the manager of this club completely ignored me. When I informed her of what was stated to me from her employee - she refused to listen. I was overcharged heavily for cancellation even though I was stated the above. I can't express enough how great these classes are. The instructors are amazing and friendly and so helpful. Cheri's classes are always so much fun. She is a great instructor, has a great sense of humor and I enjoy her classes. She has even helped me work through some injuries with one on one suggestions. All of the instructors are amazing. She is an excellent instructor and it shows in how she prepares creative workouts, gives us new exercises, and provides a GREAT workout, no matter your fitness level. This is the place to strengthen your Core and learn so much about total body alignment including spinal alignment. They have various classes starting with beginner level one classes all the way up to cardio classes using the jump board. They have many great instructors and they have private sessions available on the "Cadillac Reformer." There are many different aspects to Club Pilates including the springboard math classes Bosu and Pilates chair to name a few. They also have FIT classes, which are similar to HIIT classes. They also have TRX classes. They have a full ensemble of retail items for sale. There is a parking lot right out front but at busy times of the day such as 5 PM it can be a little difficult to find a place to park. read more

Unless you have a very, very flexible schedule, I do not recommend this studio. I was very frustrated as there were limited classes available, and then the were full. You can go on the waitlist, and then there is no guarantee you will get into a class or you may not know until the night before. It's expensive, and then in my experience, the limited classes available to beginners are booked or you have to book far out in advance (at least 10 days out). The studio was quick to get me signed-up and locked into a contract, and in my opinion, the limitations with available scheduling and restrictions to certain classes was not fully communicated. From my perspective, the staff did not make it clear the potential challenges with available classes and then the administrative feat of the advance planning & scheduling required in order to find the value of this expensive program. Unless you're retired or do not work, I cannot imagine how other people make these restrictions work. I would not recommend this to other working moms. read more

I have been doing Pilates for about 5 years since I began having issues with my lower back. I recently moved to Colorado and being familiar with ClubPilates at other locations I thought I would give this one a try. I can honestly say I will never go back to this location and it is all because of my experience with a Pilates instructor named Tammy. First of all I had no idea she was even the instructor because I heard her laughing about another participant there who was over weight and Tammy was shaking her head saying how "not even surgery can fix that" then began laughing with another woman. I couldn't believe it when I found out SHE was the instructor, but still I was willing to give it a chance. But... all hope was lost when i actually interacted with Tammy. She acted very immature and didn't appear to be knowledgeable about Pilates at all. She didn't know about the 9 principles nor the correct core positions to strengthen the lower back. Also, I could smell alcohol on her when she got close enough. To say the least I was totally disgusted and not about to pay for a service that isn't professionally regulated to keep this kind of person away from paying customers. Needless to say, I found a different and more professional Pilates facility that I am very happy with. read more

I absolutely love Love my Palates Ken Caryl. I accidentally signed up for cardio jump 1.5 this morning. Cardio isn't my thing. Turns out I loved it, made me sweat. Finally found my thing! Been doing this for about 2 months and I feel AMAZING. Just finished my first level 1.5 class and I feel so motivated. They were cheering me on! The Pros: There is so much variety in classes, Cardio Sculpt and Flex are my favorites! The staff is incredible, they are supportive, helping you achieve the best work out for you! I have been given tips to make exercises harder or easier for me, and everyone is really supportive. I don't have a lot of time to workout and I feel like this is best bang for the buck in getting in shape! The Cons: Everything has cons, there aren't many but there are a few. You are limited to the class schedule offered, sometimes the class you want isn't at the time you want. I do find that I am able to go enough to get my monies worth, check the schedule when trying it out. Classes at popular times can fill up so you do have to plan ahead. Additionally, you will sign a contract so no immediate quitting. If you want my opinion this place is filled with great energy and great people! Every time I leave this place I feel like I'm doing the right thing for me. I hope you find something that makes you feel like your best you!!! read more

Worst experience ever, they are all about collecting money and noting about making an experience or building a relationship. Good idea, terrible ownership and management, will spend my money with someone who is about the workout and not about collecting money. On your response, I have been in there and my fiancée J Varner has been in, maybe we never meet you and we met your general manager and thought it was the owner. But your front office girl was very rude and I wanted to sign up for the monthly membership, don't want to get into a huge customer service issue but pretty much got no sorry ever and if you don't realize how bad of customer service your employees provide then I think you have a problem. We called again to try to give you a second chance and the girls on the phone, 2 of them cause a different girl called back to say we weren't welcome. Anyways they made it almost impossible to try to schedule a class. Saying you have to have a membership join the class. I understand you have to pay for the class, but when you make such a big deal about it, makes your business seem like they careless about treating customers right and more about collecting a check. read more

I'm sorry this review has not been submitted before now but I wasn't going to say anything about my experience, but after another 2 years of practicing pilates I feel I must. Club Pilates, this location is all I know firsthand but from everything I've learned and heard about Club Pilates, my advice is don't go there!!! Not here, not anywhere. My specific situation at this location was about 2 years ago, actually think it was October of 2016. At that point I had about 18+ months of diligence to my practice. I took my sister, who lived in Ken Caryl at the time, with me, she was anxious to try pilates! She is a very fit girl; has done a lot of yoga, she runs, lifts weights etc. The class at CP felt very much like a 'get em in and get em out' kinda thing. Cattle call. The instructor was not watching people's form, unless someone asked her specifically for help, you're on your own. My sister pulled something in her neck that haunted her for months. I was on the reformer next to her, and I was seeing her form was a little off, her neck and shoulders were so tense. (Something ANYONE who does pilates knows is a common thing you need to NOT TO DO!). It's hard even today for me to remember that, and I'm constantly reminded by my instructor. CLUB PILATES is a franchise operation. They're not there to help you improve your practice. Pilates is a practice. I'm 62, have had 2 spinal surgeries and am diligent about what I do and can say pilates has saved my life. If I started at Club Pilates...I'm 100% sure I wouldn't be where I am today. I'm passionate about it; you should be too and probably are. Based on that, go somewhere else. CP is NOT how people should start or continue their practice. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps. There another review where the owner says, 'we are governed by corporate policy..'. Seriously? That has to do w their contracts. I've been to pilates studios in 8 states, all privately owned. Ken Caryl Club Pilates is a professional Pilates studio, rather than an individual offering Pilates out of their home. No only to they offer several experience levels of traditional reformer style Pilates, but also classes in Cardio, Stretch and Balance classes, and Suspension classes, where you are truly put to the test of your strength. I have literally changed my core health, dropping 25 pounds and realigning my spine in six months. My posture has become correct, my lean muscle is beautiful, and I will continue with unlimited sessions as the scheduling flexibility is easy. The dedication and subject knowledge of the instructors is tremendous, going above and beyond to train the correct alignment and breath sequences needed for true Pilates. I received a complimentary (offered to everyone) 30 minute assessment, to be sure my body was in line properly and that I was using the proper movements to ensure there would be no injury as I moved to the next level. This is not a quick fix, however, changes happen, and in three months, you will be a lifelong Pilates person. read more

Good experience and know how from the trainers/teacher. I am only giving this 4 stars because the prices are high for single classes (and on a single lady income). I purchased a package deal to begin and introduced to Pilates and felt that was sufficient pricing for the quality of service provided. I would really enjoy having this be my go to "gym" and atmosphere. I certainly understand the reasons for high pricing, just wish it was more doable in a single lady income! I tried to join club pilates Ken Caryl when they sent out an email offering $169/ month unlimited and Rob the Manager told me that that price was sent out in error and that the price is now $199. Talk about bait and switch tactics. If they sent out an email offering $169 then they should honor their advertised price and not screw you around. They show an offer of one price, but when you try to join, that lower price is no longer available and it's now at the new higher price even if you try to join before their new price hike again in September, 2017. That's called bait and switch and they've been doing that for some time now as I've had confirmation from others as well regarding their monthly membership offers and how they always seem to go up when you actually try to join. The State of Colorado Attorney General's Office as well as The Better Business Bureau has now been informed of their practices. Clearly they don't need new clients as they are going to price themselves right out of the market. Those rates are LA and New York City rates. They better make sure they keep the customers they already have I guess. Beware. read more

KC Club Pilates is changing my life for the better. I can feel that bounce coming back into my step and I am regaining that overall feeling of well being. Kelley, one of the personal trainers, has been helping me to get back into shape. Kelley is patient, gives very clear directions, understands body mechanics and can apply her knowledge to accommodate injuries. She makes me laugh, and she provides a 50 minute workout that feels like it is 10 minutes long. As a bonus, the studio is clean, the equipment well-maintained, and the staff quite knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Pilates studio. Do not hesitate because you believe it will be too difficult, the instructors are great and they can work with anyone. read more
