I always go real early in the morning and there are a few regulars that are just extremely nice and good people. The gym has good equipment and is kept in a clean, uncluttered way. Usually the owner is not in at 6:30 in the morning when I routinely leave. He was today. I got done with my hour long walk/run on the treadmill and wiped everything down that a person could possibly touch. I got my stuff and went to leave. Owner came out of his office and asked me if I was leaving and I said yes. He said, "Are you just going to leave the treadmill like that?" I walked over to the treadmill and showed him that I had carefully wiped down everything above the supports. He looked down at the track/steps and said "you left puddles". To his point, I am a large guy and I do sweat a lot. I got a rag and cleaned the sides and the belt. Someone may have complained and that may be why he was in earlier than usual. If that is the case, I apologize to whoever was bothered with how I have been leaving the treadmill. I have never seen anyone been asked to do this, and when I asked if the other people using the treadmills would be instructed to clean the base, he would not answer the question. He just kept saying "you left puddles". I have never seen anyone clean the track area, but I am happy to do it. I have a problem with the aggressive way I was approached and the lack of respect I was shown. It may be that this owner only wants fit, good looking people in his gym. I am not sure, but this seemed like it could be a bit of an issue with my size and how much I sweat. I will keep going as it is two doors down from the nicest sauna/cold plunge space! I like to go after the gym.

To put in context, the gyms at Myrtle Beach always deal with rude tourists looking for a free workout. My checkin was kind, smooth, and normal like my PF in Charlotte. This is one of the bigger ones I've seen. All new equipment, tons of space, and clean. As long as the patrons don't tear this place up, it will be one or the biggest and nicest PF locations in the USA

Great equipment, heavy dumbbells, awesome plate-loaded machines, and zero bullshit. Just a legit gym built for people who actually like to train. The atmosphere is exactly what a hardcore gym should feel like. Nothing flashy or gimmicky. Just iron, good equipment, and the kind of place that makes you want to stay longer and train harder. I've trained at a lot of gyms while traveling and Iron Legacy is absolutely one I'd come back to every time I'm in Myrtle Beach. If you lift and you're in the area, this is where you want to go.

Tidelands Health Rehabilitation Services at Pawleys Island…read more I was looking to increase my strength and my endurance after three surgeries over two months for breast cancer and one major infection that hospitalized me for a week. I found myself very weak and not able to keep my balance well. I was fortunate enough to be able to get stronger with the Tidelands Rehabilitation Services at Pawleys Island. I cannot say enough about Danny, Jen, and Melissa. Their knowledge, kindness and professionalism got me back on stronger footing. Twice a week I came here and did not miss an appointment. I learned so much how to live a better lifestyle towards health. I listened and followed instructions. I did my homework as well. They guided me and I took part in my rehabilitation. We worked together to increase my strength and endurance. Danny is such a joy and helped me so much. She answered all of my questions in a way I could understand. Danny shared her knowledge and experience during our sessions. My work out was challenging and designed specifically for me. Each appointment went by fast. Danny's humor is so quick. I told her I think I have a bad memory but I can't remember. We laughed often during my workout. If you work with Danny you are in great hands. Jen has a smile that lights up a room. Her encouragement made me feel as if I could do anything. Jen challenged me to do my best. The workouts became a routine for continuity with rest periods in between. . The repetitions were increased as my body got stronger. Jen laughed often during the time I was there. I told her the word for one of the days was "OVERDOING IT ". We try not to do too much too soon. If you are Blessed to work with Jen bring your best! Melissa has such a big heart. She made my work outs very enjoyable. Melissa gave me a lot of help towards my healing and getting stronger. We talked about my goals and progress. My favorite line from Melissa ...." I Give you permission to walk!" I always needed that extra OK to try something or do something new. We kept laughing about that moment. Melissa went the extra mile and answered my questions about nutrition and effects of extra weight on the joints. When you are pared up with Melissa ...be prepared to learn a lot. Everyone there was so kind to me. I was treated with respect and kindness. My balance increased standing on only the left leg from 2 seconds to 15 seconds. On my right leg I can balance for a full 30 seconds when I started I only could do 3 seconds. Also, most of the members that regularly go there are very friendly as well. Everything is always clean and spotless. The lap pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam rooms are fantastic and the temperatures are always at a perfect setting. They have a racket ball court as well. A special shout out to Adel, Nancy and Laura who always brighten your day with a big smile. A special place with special people. My wife and I love it.

Since I've been going everyone has been very accepting, supportive, and so kind. WOW! I feel welcomed and not judged. Furthermore, I'm recovering from life changing spinal cord fusion 7 months ago. Most recently, I'm awaiting an MRI for my lower back - pain severe in my heals. I'm out of work. Since going to Inlet Yoga I've noticed great strides in my mobility, my feet aren't hurting nearly as bad, I might be able to put off back surgery. My moods have changed so much. From the first complimentary visit, I felt energized and more flexible. Subsequent visits with Courtney concentrating on my issue areas, only improved this feeling. Before, my muscles felt like rubber bands that no longer stretched. Today I feel flexible, stretchy-er and better overall. Courtney is well educated and trained.
