The fact that there's a Pilates studio 5 mins away from my house is AMAZING. As soon as I walked in and checked in for my class the girls were so friendly and welcoming. As soon as I walked in I felt so calm, comfortable & super excited for my class. It's so clean and organized. The instructor was AMAZING , friendly and such a great example. I attended Club Pilates consistently for just under a month and a half, and the experience was frustrating. There is no clear structure on how to progress from beginner to advanced classes, making it unnecessarily difficult to level up. The beginner classes are extremely easy, and despite attending 5 to 6 sessions a week, I saw no results. Booking classes is also a nightmare--most sessions, especially on weekends, are always full, making it nearly impossible to get a spot. On top of that, the staff is rude to members--I was publicly called out in front of an entire class for attending an advanced session without "authorization," something that could have been handled privately and professionally. Then, they canceled all my classes over a $20 balance I was never even informed about. For $289 a month, all these negative interactions and frustrations are simply not worth it. Petty policies and poor customer service--wouldn't recommend. . read more

So happy that Club Pilates is now in Oxnard! The instructors are beyond amazing and helpful! I love how they guide and teach you how to use the reformer/core! Most importantly they practice Safety First!! Doing Pilates has helped me get back into shape after two surgeries. I feel my recovery has improved significantly!! read more

I was a member. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience, I gave them 3 chances and finally I cancelled my membership . It's not inexpensive and I had 3 bad teachers who made bad comments! I called management and left messages she called once, leaving me a message. I called twice she never bothered to return my calls. One of those comments was racist - about being in Oxnard. 1 particular teacher thought bc of my name I didn't understand English.. uggh DISGUSTING! As she obv. Spoke about preferring to only teachVentura. This instructor wld get Frustrated w/ students when they did not understand, the particular names of moves; it became upsetting that when I saw her name I knew not to attend her class. If your are looking for a more personalized fitness journey, this is it! I was hooked after my free 30 minute intro class. I have completed 10 classes. I have never done Pilates, but the instructors are so attentive and helpful it feels like I have private instruction. The studio is like a little retreat. The minute you walk in you are kindly greeted by the receptionist. The instructors are all so encouraging and motivating. It's a great workout! read more

I am glad to finally partake in the Pilates World! I love all the workouts we do ! I love most of the instructors and love they can vary the workout. These workouts were also something that I thought was a safe re-hab after my husband got into a very bad accident. I thought this to be a very safe way of getting stronger as he seemed to reach his limit in PT. He is also so glad he joined. I love the instructors who explain why we are doing certain exercises and what it is working on the body and who also give you options to make it harder. I can't say enough good things about Club Pilates. I was nervous at first since it was my first time trying Pilates, but the entire Club Pilates crew is truly amazing and have made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. I've been attending for a month and I've enjoyed every single class. Ive had back pain for a couple years but since starting at Club Pilates, my back pain has already lessened and my posture has improved. Love the club Pilates experience. They are very clean, organized and have amazing instructors. Each instructor has their own technique but they will each work you out ! You will see and feel a result no matter what membership you have. I have joined other Pilates studios and class times were very limited. I don't run into that issue here. After attending classes for a bit over a month I can confidently say it's been 100% worth it! I've never been more consistent with working out up until now (cancellation & no show fee def motivate me to show up even when I don't feel like going lol) so many great instructors also! I'm new to group exercise classes and Pilates, so taking the free intro class was the perfect start to my Pilates journey. I loved it and signed up for a membership. There are a variety of membership options to fit your needs, an app to schedule classes, and class times ranging from early morning to evening. My schedule changes all the time, and I love being able to sign up for a morning or mid afternoon class based on my needs. The studio is nicely maintained, with new equipment and a water bottle refill station. There are 12 reformers in each class, and the instructors are great at giving helpful cues and feedback to each person. I love that the instructors modify exercises based on injury if you need to take it easy, or "for added challenge" if you want to step it up! If you've always wanted to try Pilates, I highly recommend checking out the intro class to see how you like it. Shoutout to instructors Doria, Felicia, Veronica, and Raymond--their classes work the best with my schedule, and I have had left every session feeling great! read more

I took their intro class and signed up immediately afterwards! I started off going 2x a week and fell in love and wanted to go more so I upgraded to unlimited and have been going as much as my body desires (which increases the longer I've done it). I was a gym girly prior, weight training 4-5x a week and doing cardio every day and I can definitely say that this type of movement has challenged and grown my muscles in a very different way compared to other types of fitness acitivities I've tried. Each instructor has their own style and variations which makes each class fun and feel like a new experience every time! It's exciting watching myself build the mind/body/muscle skills, strength, and knowledge of techniques needed to level up not just in the club but in my every day life and mobility! I definitely recommend checking it out if you're interested in seeing what pilates is like and are in the area. read more

Honest Review: classes are great and you definitely feel the difference in working out when you take a class. It is very expensive $250 a month for unlimited classes (they have lower packages but you only book a limited amount of classes). If you have a job where you are unable to plan ahead of time (im talking like weeks in advance) it is close to impossible to book a class since they are all full by the time you look at them. If you cancel 12 hours before the class start time you are fine but if something unexpected were to happen and you cancel less than 12 hours before get ready to pay $15, if you are late to the class by even 5 minutes you pay $15 (they charge for everything) I would think at the price you pay a month they would be more lenient. Most of the instructors are great I really enjoy Doria, Felicia, Huilling and Sissy class. I had only one negative experience with one instructor but I liked her class so I won't name her. So basically I pay unlimited classes and in reality am only able to take maybe 3-4 classes a week since my work schedule is unpredictable and I am unable to book in advance making it very hard for me to book classes since by the time I can book they are all full. The studio itself is very clean and most of the receptionist are nice. All the people taking the classes are also very nice. read more

I started with Club Pilates in Oxnard since July 2024. When I come to the studio, it is always a smooth and pleasant experience. I am new to Pilates and I am thankful for the Oxnard location. I come each week and I always have a pleasant experience from checking in, to finishing my classes. Yesenia is always friendly and checks me in for my classes promptly. I have attended Doria and Karena's classes, and they are awesome instructors. They are professional, graceful and caring in every step of the class. Doria and Karena are always friendly, energetic and prepared for the class. Each class gives me room to improve and provide a dynamic workout. Doria and Karena ensure they correct me or anyone in a discreet and comfortable manner. The transitions between movements are always smooth and at a good pace for the class. Each class helps me build mental and physical strength. I always enjoy my time at the studio and look forward to their awesome classes.
