We did a trio class with Lindsay and boy did she jump right in. We started with the chair and it was challenging but felt good. We didn't do too much on the reformer but did enough to test it out. She was attentive to each of us (who had different levels or adjustments needed) and was constantly providing adjustments. It was a fulfilling hour-long class that made us want more (really! We wanted to see if we could squeeze it into our trip again on our remaining days) The space was clean and beautiful with heated floors and nice facilities. Glad we tried here and would love to return on any trips back!

It can get busy since it's the only decent gym in town, but equipment-wise, it's great. They could have more than two sets of each dumbbell weight, though, but that's the only negative. They have plenty of treadmills, row machines, stair machines, etc. I think some people just want to complain about things. I NEVER used the locker room at a gym (disgusting).

I've been noticing how dirty the studio at trolley square is. First, pretty much every time I take…read morea class there, there are wads of hair or dirt pushed to the back walls and corners. I usually have to wipe down my space before I put my mat down because there is hair/dirt. Second, I think there is black mold and definitely rust all over the white beams and speakers. The vents on the ceiling are also covered in dust. Another thing is they used to clean your weights for you, which was helpful because after every class there is a huge line you have to wait in to clean your weights which can be annoying. Overall I think that if you're paying the hefty $140 a month you should be able to workout in a clean studio with clean air and not have to do your own cleaning. Is it just me, or are these reformer classes insanely difficult?! After years of yoga and barre, I…read moredon't consider myself particularly "unfit" but man, Olivia kicked my butt in reformer this morning. Those pulsing lunges, the inner thigh work... I am dying. Dying! But dying in a good way. Like, I can't wait to start seeing the results like, 'hello, miss new booty'. Pilates is damn expensive in general - like $25 -$30 for a drop in class expensive. But Core Body is so confident you'll like it that they give you your first week free, then a new student special of $99 for the first month of unlimited classes. The only reason I'm doing 4 starts instead of 5 is that, being new to reformer Pilates, I would appreciate a bit more instruction on how to use the machines and (eh hem) modify, because like I said earlier, it is effing difficult when you're just starting out.

The heated floors in the studio space was such a treat, and the practice allowed for much flexibility in how we practiced (my mom and I are quite different in activity level, class was still fantastic for both of us!). Wish we were here more often so we could return!
