I was waiting on line to use the ladies room while there was no line for the men's room. The guy in charge I guess refused to let me use the men's room. They are single stalls. I don't see what the big deal was, but he was exceptionally rude. If a paying customer needs to use the restroom at my establishment there would be no problem with me letting them use the RESTROOM. read more

My sister noticed chips and dip, and without thinking, she attempted to take one. She was reprimanded for trying to dip the chip, which I found amusing and couldn't help but laugh that she got i. trouble. Undeterred, she proceeded to pour the dip onto the chip instead of dipping, and we continued on. So she thought that was the problem. YOU ARE A BAR! Communicate something if there is a problem or if someone is doing something they cant in your establishment. I then observed the lady who had admonished my sister conversing with the bouncer, pointing in our direction. Subsequently, the bartender approached us, walked behind the bar, and then the bouncer inexplicably dumped a basket of chips over my head, placing the basket as a makeshift hat. I was perplexed and asked why he did it, but he responded by verbally assaulting me, using derogatory language. I felt genuinely confused, embarrassed, and upset, having been physically and verbally attacked without provocation by a grown man, particularly considering I am under five feet tall. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Following the incident, I understandably created a scene. In the chaos, I inadvertently left my phone behind, prompting my sister and friends to go retrieve it. The bouncer attempted to claim that I would have to pay for the phone or he would keep it, which anyone would of found absurd. I have initiated a police report, made few social media postings and would appreciate any guidance, advice, or sharing of this incident. It is essential that such behavior is not tolerated, and no one should be subjected to similar treatment. read more

I went to San Antonio on vacation and the bartender i think she was latina denied two pregnant women a sprite or water, mind you we had a party of 15 and every single other person was drinking. I just think it was highly unprofessional & rude of her. If this bar has a policy about not giving out water I suppose I understand but the way she went about it was extremely rude and unprofessional, not only did she deny us water she had the security guard kick us all out over it while half of us still has full drinks. I personally never experienced this at a bar so it was a first time for me we all left and had a great time at the bar next door lol but if you're going to work in customer service, you should probably work on your attitude. I'll be revisiting Texas soon and revisiting this bar, Let's see if I have another bad experience or if this just was one of those nights for the bartender. read more

Love this place! It's right next to the River Walk (no RW access), but is not completely consumed with tourists. A lot of locals hang out here and New Years Eve was no exception. It's a diverse mix of people. Some trendy, some really casual, some gay, some straight. The music is just as unpredictable. Jukebox or DJ. Every other song can be anything from hip hop to Tejano to pop to classic rock. Something for every person and every mood! And thew drinks!...the drinks are CHEAP but great and the bartenders rock! If you're looking for a little relief from all the RW crowd walk upstairs and have a few at Club Sirius. It really is more of a bar than club. Alot of cities have bars that are different from the norm and alot of people don't talk about, but you gotta find out about it's special glow on your own. There's a huge sign on the wall that shout out's all the special shots one can try. When I went this guy sitting next to us told my boyfriend he had, had almost every shot on that board. I enjoy that the manager is always around, she has a pet and the best is probably the most best behaved pet I have EVER seen. The patrons tried to pat it and it was like nope and diverted to the back which was cool, it had it's own personality. The best drink of this place has to be the bloody mary. The bar has a significant amount of beer options as well, but is more liquor based, so try it out! read more

We came in from out of town for a work trip with VERY little spending money, but nonetheless wanted to check out Downtown San Antonio while we had the chance. We quickly realized that though the River Walk is gorgeous- it's not designed for those of us on a serious budget. So we started to walk back, feeling defeated, about to grab a 6 pack and go back to the hotel, when we came across Club Sirius- the great dog. Booooy did they hook us up! (AND there happened to be an adorable Weimaraner at the door) Cheap beers, SOOO many shots, our wonderful bartender even let us sample their blended tequila- which we ultimately bought and was fantastic. All together, 3 of us left feeling awesome for less than $40. We would have paid that much per-person at any of the spots on the river! I loved this bar. It was to watch the Red River Shoot Out this past weekend and the game started @ 11 so we were looking for a bar at 10 am. I've always been fond of CS mainly because its almost always open, has remarkably intelligent bartenders, usually has a spot available by a video game and the TV usually is playing something most excellent. I heard they have a DJ every night now, which helps keep the crowd entertained with hopes to bring in the local bar hopping booty shakers. They might even be well aware of this as well, as every glass is chilled in the cooler for bottled beer. They should focus on maintaining cold temperatures for their brew. Oh well!
