He took a moment because he thought it was a little less online. When he asked "and that's the total with tax?". Normally you hear back a confirmation but instead she said no with tax it's $73.62. Mind you we were at the register to pay not for a price check. My husband was looking at his phone and she blurts out "you want it or not?". We told her yes but I had to explain to her he is just taking a moment to look up the price. Normally someone at the register gives the total price when purchasing not sub total. I walked away once my husband got the receipt and was already a good ways away from the register and she yells out "Good Bye!" In the most patronizing tone. It was the cherry on top for this review. We are all human and can do better but this right here is why online shopping and self check out is putting cashiers out of jobs. Maybe she should remember that the next time she wants to be unjustifiably rude and try to make people feel less than with "you want it or not?". Several loudspeaker announcements of, "We will be closing soon," rang out, even with 45 mins left available. Many of the racks were out of order and rather disheveled. I was also saddened to find that many items were sold out in needed sizes, with only larger sized items still available. One item that I needed was a small wrist brace, but only one was available in that size with the others available in Large. I did find that the brace was good for the value, but was still put off by the state of the store. Also, the staff was chatting around the floor a lot, leaving me waiting at the register for several moments without assistance. Hopefully next time will be better.

My understanding is management would not allowed any maintenance work during their World Cup closure. Wouldn't you think that would be the best time to do maintenance? It was bad enough when the hotel took away the golf course parking lot to create Pickleball courts (on which I've never seen anybody playing) but to step back from course maintenance is shameful. I don't know if it is intentional or lack of golf course management experience but there is a ton of room for improvement to bring this course up to Marriott standards. Hopefully someone at Marriott will read this and make some changes. I gave this review a single star only because the Starter is great at his job. Always friendly and very efficient.
