Saw this place on a local Foodies board and it did not disappoint. We had to get off the hill and away from the snow before a medical procedure tomorrow, so this was our opportunity. Called in for pick-up order to eat at our hotel. Very friendly on the phone and in person. :) We ordered the Aloha OG (fried) and a Maple Bacon Sweetie with Gunther's ice cream and fried chicken. The maple bacon one was my absolute favorite. The chicken was juicy and flavorful on both, I just really loved the maple lol. Very cute establishment, super friendly folks, very clean (and pup friendly!) . I'd actually considered getting it Door Dashed as I despise driving around Roseville at night but I was also nervous about how it would be delivered. But no worries about that. They packed them in large cups that held them perfectly. Lids can be taped down to help with tamper-proofing if that's a concern for you, so order away! Everything was outstanding. So unique too and what a fun experience. Definitely recommend and will be back. I'd even order this to-go to take home, it definitely would make the trip up the hill. Very impressed...well done ladies.

Ok I might sound kind of dramatic saying this but literally I'd die for Cluck n Cone. It's my new favorite place to eat for numerous reasons. 1. The grilled chicken is to die. Juicy and flavorful! I learned the chicken is brined for 16 hours. I only know this because I get the grilled chicken every time and I asked "omg what makes this so juicy," and that's when I was told! (I have yet to try the fried chicken but I hear that is delicious too, but I can't stop eating the grilled chicken). 2. The millionaires bacon...also to die. Once again I needed to know the secret. Smoked for over 5 hours daily. I don't even like bacon and theirs is like CANDY. 3. They make the waffle cones fresh daily. I love that they're not too sweet. They compliment the chicken well. 4. I often go by myself but will eat there a lot of the time because the staff is so nice I often end up chatting with them while I eat. I feel the environment is fun and welcoming! 5. Lauren, the owner, is just the best and truly encompasses the spirit of a "small business." Personable, open, excited to make good food, is at the business 6 days a week, and always asks for customers thoughts on the food. She's always open to feedback (compliments and constructive suggestions). She's fun and you can tell very passionate about food and customer service. Lastly, I really wanted to write this review not only because I'm now obsessed, but also I want this small business to survive. I'm tired of only big chains. This food has QUALITY ingredients, is made fresh upon order (you can watch them make your food), and an incredibly kind staff. Please patron Cluck n Cone! 10/10 recommend! I'll be back soon!

Mac n Cheese, fried chicken, topped with more cheese in a maple waffle cone. This is my second time here and second time ordering the same thing. The Mac n cheese and chicken are delicious. Everything has a hint of maple syrup flavor so it's sweet but savoury at the same time. This is in no way a healthy meal but it is a worthwhile snack while shopping for cars across the street or other business in the area. The prices are a bit high but everything is expensive right now. There's room for sitting inside or outside on the plaza and complimentary lemon water is also available. Delicious!

We were visiting from out of town and had to try. Service was EXCELLENT and me and my three friends got each something different. I got mine with plant based chicken, which was also amazing. We have been so excited to try this place! We walked in and the place was very clean and decorated super cute! The menu is easy enough and we decided on the hot honey cone, Thai bowl, millionaire bowl, and buffalo cone. The chicken is AMAZING, battered perfectly! The cones are the perfect holder for these treats but I would say the bowls are less desirable. The cost of the cones/bowls are not worth the amount of food in them. Three pieces of chicken (nugget sized) and 1/2 cup ish of slaw is not worth the price. It's a fun experience and I'm glad we tried it but we probably won't be back.

We throughly enjoyed our dinner here. The chicken was good, the macaroni and cheese was good and so was the ice cream, oh and the fries were great. Fun concept, I kind of wanted softer cones, more like chicken and waffles but it was still good. Not the easiest to eat. The best part was the service. They have good customer service nailed. So nice and helpful. Helped us order just what we'd like and chatted and checked on with us too. The decor was super neat too. We really enjoyed the whole experience.

Here's today's riddle: What do you get when you combine chicken and a huge waffle cone? The answer to the riddle is a "waffle cone," which is a delicious and unique way to enjoy chicken in a HUGE cone made of waffle batter, with lots of maple syrup flavor. You'll find this fine and unique cuisine at Cluck N Cone, located in Roseville, CA. As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice the long counter, the menu board, and the open kitchen, where you can watch the friendly staff prepare your meal. The dining room is quite compact and shares space with the large counter and kitchen, with all furniture being tables and chairs. It's sparsely decorated, but tasteful, and spotlessly clean, and the dining is very comfortable. It's December the 8th, and it's getting close to Christmas, so the dining room was decorated for the season, and Christmas music was being played in the background. The menu is very compact and specializes in "waffle cones" but offers sides, combos and other choices. There are many additional options not listed on the menu, so if there's something you don't see, simply ask the friendly staff. But one thing on the menu in common: Chicken. You make your selection from the menu, pay for it, and give the staff member your name, and when your order is ready, you pick it up at the "pick-up" station, a little bit to the left. At the top of the menu, I went with "Aloha OG," along with a medium side of "Waffle Fries." How can you enjoy a "waffle cone" without a side of fries? The menu gives you the choice between "waffle" or "curly" fries, and I went with the "waffle" variety. The menu describes the "Aloha OG," as, "Cone, color cabbage, waffle fried chicken, diced sauteed pineapple, Sweet Baby Ray's teriyaki sauce, black and white sesame seed, sliced green onions and crispy shallots." You get to choose between deep fried or grilled chicken, and went the "healthy" route and chose to have my chicken nuggets deep fried. How could I resist deep fry? It goes without saying that Cluck N Cone uses only premium, fresh ingredients for their delicious cones and everything else listed on the menu, along with all veggies and condiments. All "waffle cones," which is the specialty of the restaurant, are made, in-house, from scratch, from a "confidential" recipe the owner came up with, but they all use butter, real sugar, and a lot more. The batter is poured from a bowl onto a waffle iron, and then the waffle is done, it's removed from the iron, molded into the shape of a giant ice cream cone, wrapped with paper, and placed into a vertical rack, ready to fill. All of the "waffle cones" on the menu share the same cone. The recipe may be "confidential," but I tasted a whole lot of maple syrup... mmmmmm... so good! Emma went to work on the chicken tenders, which are the heart of the "Aloha OG" cone. My choice was to have my chicken deep fried, and the tenders were seasoned, breaded and deep fried to perfection. I noticed she was "multi-tasking" as the waffle fries seemed to be deep frying pretty much in synch with the chicken tenders. When the tenders were finished, she filled the pre-made waffle cone with all the goodies the "Aloha OG" as to offer, and topped it off with a miniature paper parasol to add to the stunning presentation. She timed it out so the "waffle fries" and the "Aloha OG" cone were ready at the same time, so both were hot and delicious. Last, but not the least, the cone was drizzled with Sweet Baby Ray's teriyaki sauce, and presented to me with a smile. Like the "Aloha OG," the fries were served vertically, which made for a stunning presentation. The fries weren't served in a "waffle cone" and arrived in a large paper cone. Emma asked if I wanted any sauce for my fries, as I requested "Ranch" but I was also rewarded with "Cluck N Sauce," a proprietary sauce that is so similar to "Thousand Island Dressing" that I couldn't tell the difference. Both sauces were served in small plastic cups and proved to be super-delicious. I must admit that I've never enjoyed a chicken "waffle cone" during my countless Placer County dining experiences, or any other restaurant that I've ever visited. Cluck N Cone has definitely carved out a "niche" on Eureka Road, in Roseville, and maybe all of northern California. My "Aloha OG" cone was like nothing I've ever even imagined or seen... with every bite I could taste all of the amazing flavors mingling together to make for an amazing dining experience. Wow! "Waffle Fries" arrived in a large, paper cone, and vertical, which made for easy eating and a stunning presentation. The "Ranch" and house-made "Cluck N Sauce" made for fantastic dipping. You can't go wrong with these fries as they're the best you'll ever enjoy! Lauren and her staff are as friendly as it gets, and their cuisine is both unique and delicious! There is nothing else like Cluck N Cone in Roseville, or maybe even Nor Cal. Check this place out, if you enjoy 5-star dining.

We were visiting from out of town for my daughter's tournament. The place was clean cute tables etc. we got the Mac and cheese cones the Mac was cold and didn't taste that great, the chicken was nice and hot fried perfect wish the Mac was hot, the bacon has some type of glaze on it and was cold and undercooked for my liking. My kids love Mac and cheese but they weren't impressed. Cool concept, but we give it 4/10 read more

I had a networking lunch with a lender today at Cluck N Cone and I can't say enough wonderful things about the restaurant. When you walk in, it is has a bright open feel, cheery yellow chairs and cute décor on the walls. The restaurant was so clean, it was spotless! The friendly team greeted us and took their time taking our order. I chose the Buffalo Crimson (with grilled chicken) and my friend ordered the The Millionaire's Cone. You MUST try this new place. It's worth going out of your way to check it out. Chicken and waffles has been popular for a long time for a good reason, the sweet/salty/savory flavors are a great balance. This place takes all of that to the next level with many other flavor combinations. Along with perfectly cooked, lightly breaded and yet super crunchy chicken, you get a nice chewy/crunchy waffle cone that's not TOO sweet, it's just right. They have options for everyone and every mood you're in, from spicy to original to Hawaiian to dessert style, we will definitely be coming back to try all of the different flavors on the menu! read more

Definitely some of the best service we have received in a while! Food was good, chicken was a little on the bland side in my opinion. We got the Nashville Hot and the Mac & Cheese. The fries were great, we got the waffle fries. The person at the counter(we assumed the owner) was very genuine, patient and friendly, there was a small delay with my order which wasn't noticeable and i was offered a free piece of bacon!. I had the pleasure of dinning here and loved everything about it! The décor was great, loved all the unique branded pictures, and beautiful tables and chairs. It is great you can watch them make your fresh waffle cones right in front of you and watch them put together your meal. The food was outstanding, the millionaire cone had some of the most delicious bacon ever, the check was juicy, tender, and crispy, and the waffle cone was made to perfection. I cannot tell you how cute this place is. They have a large photo of their mascot that you or the kids can take a picture with. They have a variety of cones to choose from or you can get a custom cone. I got the hot and honey cone and my son got the sweetie cone. You can also add on a family size curly fry. The cones are a good size I just wish my cone was a tad bit spicier. They did tell me that there was a hotter version on its way along with a sandwich. I say give this family owned business a try. My daughter was asking me to go try out this new place, and I am so glad we did! WOW! The chicken is the best, different from anything I I've ever had before. The owner said it's their proprietary recipe and made in-house. The hot homey came with the millionaire bacon, if you love bacon this is a must have. Walking into Cluck N Cone for my first time I was greeted with a big smile and a very helpful employee. What a cool atmosphere, Clean & Bright! The Team was so kind and walked me through all of the exciting menu concepts. I chose The Thai One on Cone with extra Sweet & Spicy Thai Sauce! I was so impressed that the chicken was hand breaded and cooked fresh right in front of me. The cone was still warm as they added all the toppings. Wow, this hit the spot for lunch. When you don't provide an item the correct thing to do, as a business, is to either figure out how much the going rate is or simply say you do not carry the item. Pretending to and knowing it is something you don't carry would have made the experience much worse. Again, I never requested a quote from you, Yelp sent it to numerous vendors. There was no communication between staff, poor communication between the management and us as clients, employees were unsure of their own roles and our provided "day of coordinator" had zero idea how to coordinate a wedding and I as the bride had to keep the day moving and tell her what to do next. (Even though we came up with a typical schedule together.) The management didn't know the size of the tables available at this location, and at our rehearsal the day before our wedding, we were told that we had to redo our whole seating chart because the tables were actually smaller than we knew. The food was brought up all the way from Sacramento in a U-haul truck, which was visible to the ceremony site during the ceremony. Half of our guests got sick afterwards. The food menus they gave to us to select catering from did not reflect what was actually available either. The chef took our selections down with a sticky note, and they lost that sticky note. They had to call us to confirm our choices. Choices we had to change AGAIN because the menu changed again. I even had to fight to have a decorated cake, and even then it ended up being extremely minimalist by design. More than once our wedding detail consultation dates had to be changed in favor of weddings that were much larger than our smaller event. They basically left our event planning to the very last minute. 2 months in advance. We spent $500 on liquor and sodas for people who didn't care for our pre-fabricated signature drinks (old fashioned's and French 75's) but the venue provided bartender never even touched those supplies. Instead, he opened up all of our red wine bottles at once, giving no thought for guest demand. We had to throw out half of the untouched wine bottles at the end of the night. Our guests had ZERO idea that there were more drink options. Please save yourselves and get married somewhere else. We are haunted by this experience.
