Used Smoothie Patrol for our spring teacher appreciation event. It's a hard event to run because you have to get through an enormous amount of quantity really quickly so that teachers can get to class. We wanted to try something new instead of just coffee and Smoothie Patrol knocked it out out of the park. When I say knocked it out of the park that's based on the evaluations of two different groups of people, one the administrative staff, and to the recipients of the drinks, the teachers and the other support staff. The teachers and support staff said the quality was really good. They loved having plant-based drinks. They loved having the green smoothies. It was a great treat for the morning. Of course, a lot of people got coffees too. But it was nice to have something that offered some options. The administrative staff was happy because the truck arrived on time they were clean they were organized. They had two people serving and they were incredibly fast. That is what makes a successful event for us. We can't have lines a mile line long. It was really easy to work with Smoothie Patrol. They're very communicative. They got us their insurance policies fast they have a fair pricing for the amount of people they're serving. All in all this is a five star review. Definitely recommend other schools and community group groups that need to have a good product, fast service and nice people. read more

The third took 17 minutes and they were up to #9 in order at the time. I was #1. Dude asked me twice what my order was. Order girl told you your number, but pick up didnt yell a number, they yelled a drink. Bro it shouldn't be this difficult there's on 7 items on the menu and no one was before me. This awesome smoothie and coffee vendor, originating from Folsom CA, was selling tasty-looking beverages and sweet treats from their drink stand at San Diego's Bunnyfest this past weekend. The hawaiian sunrise smoothie (strawberry, mango, peaches) looked so tempting on the menu, but I had to go with an iced mocha (with milk chocolate) cuz I needed a coffee beverage on this day. I always love those days when our place of business gives us a surprise employee appreciation reward! This time we were treated by the "Smoothie Patrol" mobile truck! They were present for about an hour as each individual co-worker got to chose from a special menu that offered free smoothies. Featured on the board was: Tropical Lemonade: (strawberries, pineapples, & lemonade), Hawaiian Sunrise: (strawberries, mangoes & peaches), Razzle Dazzle: (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries & strawberries), Gladiator: (spinach, mangoes, pineapples, bananas, & 30g of protein), and last but not least, the Spunky Monkey. Everything looked so enticing and thirst quenching! I had a hard time narrowing my choice down, but eventually selected the "Spunky Monkey" which was an icy blend of chocolate, bananas & shot of espresso. It was really delicious and refreshing! I almost went for a fruit smoothie, but realized I needed that espresso shot, because my busy work day wasn't over yet and needed that extra boost of energy! Other co-workers enjoyed their drinks as well, but a few thought the ingredients of the fruit smoothies were too sweet. Smoothie Patrol made an appearance at Sac State and I knew I had to try their smoothies on my lunch break! Their menu is small, but is to be expected of most food trucks. They offer classic smoothies and plant based smoot which are mostly fruit based, but they do offer the Nutty Buddy for chocolate lovers! I tried the Spartan from their protein smoothie selection. A yummy blend of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and whey protein. This smoothie tasted very fresh and refreshing and I was very satisfied with it! Ordered 3 smoothies: The one I had was a specialty called The Nutty Buddy which had chocolate , peanut butter and vanilla ice cream smoothie. Which tasted like Reece's in a cup which was delicious if you like more of the sweet side. The other two drinks were called Spazmatic(strawberry , bananas and vanilla)and Hawaiian sunrise(strawberry peach and mango). Which Spasmatic was very good too. Caught the food truck in truckee this weekend- ordered the spazmatic smoothie, the tiger blood and cherry/lime shaved ice. Just OK- nothing special. The shaved ice hardly had enough flavor so you were just eating ice until it all melted and then all you had was warm corn syrup. The ratio of juice to ice needs to be increased so that you have sweet cold ice/ not warm melted slush. The smoothie was pretty good- much better than the ice. Would order that again- good flavor. Smoothies were 7 for small/ 9 for a large and the shaved ice were 5$. They were making a mint this weekend because the weather is pushing 100 everyday. My wife and I shared their Tropical Lemonade smoothie at SactoMoFo 4. It was made with strawberries, pineapple and lemonade and it was delicious. It was especially refreshing as it was super-hot out there at the food truck festival. My only complaint is about their placement at the festival. They seemed to be one of the few trucks not parked in the shade, but that made me appreciate the ice cold smoothie that much more. Way better than anything I've had at Jamba Juice in recent years. Smoothie Patrol is parked at the UC Davis silo a few times each work-week and they put out the strongest, best quality espresso in Davis. Good espresso should go down easy, it shouldn't be acidic or sour so you get all the flavor and none of the nastiness. Smoothie Patrol is just as customizable as the Peet's inside the silo, at a cheaper price, better quality, and a faster turnaround/less wait time. Walking around Trucktoberfest in West Sac, I had a belly full of tofu baos from the Chairman but was starting to get overheated from the unusually warm weather. That's what I get for not checking the forecast before leaving the house. I walked passed Smoothie Patrol and noticed that they had shaved ice and liked the idea over a soda and was afraid to go with a smoothie as I was already pushing the limits of my already adequately lined stomach. I ordered the blue raspberry shaved ice and was amazed at the monstrosity that was handed off to me out of the window. I grabbed a saplings worth of napkins as I anticipated the upcoming shaved ice disaster and grabbed a seat near the truck. As people passed by I noticed them glance at the chilly treat then double back for the truck. I really should have been paid for my advertising for them but I guess I was with the raspberry colossus that was starting to numb my hand. I tried to delicately eat away at the cone but there were casualties with the ground beneath my feet turning into a blue puddle of sugar water. Embarrassed, I walked away and found another spot only to create another lake. I was only able to eat a third (and I'm being liberal with my consumption here) but my husband was able to eat quite a bit. Unfortunately, the ice melted and I was left with a fifth of a container of blue colored sugar water. Iced sugar water is palatable but once it turned liquid, we had to toss it. The rating is based on the shaved ice only but I am definitely looking out for it so I can try their smoothies! read more

I read the other reviews and one person noted there was not much flavor in the drink. I think this company is looking to provide fresh, no sugar added drinks that are healthy. I ordered a smoothie that had spinach, mango, coconut water, banana (and I can't remember the other ingredients). The smoothie was almost water consistency , very small. I could not taste anything else except the banana. It tasted like a banana smoothie that was green colored. I would never order a smoothie from here, again. Very disappointing. The man that runs this business/truck is incredibly rude. We tried them in While they were in Rancho Cordova on a very hot day. The shaved ice wasn't very good and it was overpriced. When I raised my concerns the guy in the truck basically told me to shut up and screw off. I will never do business with them again and I highly recommend that you don't as well.
