They catered our wedding and everyone absolutely loved it! They have great menu options and all of the ingredients combine together very well. We loved having flat pizzas and deep dish pizzas available. Highly recommend trying them at local farmers markets or having them cater your event! They were easy to coordinate with and very accommodating.

Delicious! One of the best pizzas I've ever had :) Sunday Pizza Company is a family run pizza company that is so worth trying. They are currently located at the Folsom Farmers market in the Palladio on Wednesdays and the Sunrise Farmers market on Saturdays. They have a great menu to chose from including their square pies with a thicker crust and their round pies with a thinner crust. I love carbs and love crust so I chose the "Pretty Fly for a Square Pie" pizza and it did not disappoint. The crust was soft and chewy on the inside and crispy and cheesy on the outside. They were generous with the toppings and added some delicious homemade red sauce on top. Portions and pricing were great. I saved some for my husband (took a lot of self control) and even though he ate it later in the day, he still really enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back for more pizza and can't wait until they open up an actual place in town :)

Went to Palladio farmers market specifically to try this pizza. It did not disappoint. First thing I liked is the very large portion for the price (who doesn't like leftovers). I also like how it's a family owned business and of course, the fresh, quality ingredients and overall taste. The crust is amazing. Definitely recommend!

    Plants pizza

This is the best pizza I've had in the whole Sacramento region in many years for quality and taste. I just tried the Plants pizza at the Folsom farmers market and love the fresh veggies and balsamic glaze. I overheard other customers saying The Update pizza is the best pizza they've had so I'll definitely be going back for that one next time! The family who runs Sunday Pizza Co is very friendly. So glad they've come to Folsom. We needed some good pizza in the area.

This is the start of every argument with my fiancé. Literally fight like children as to how many pieces we each get. We love their pizza so much. If you like your pizza with a spicy kick, the Scoop is my favorite or you can always go for a timeless classic their One Trick Pepperoni. Sunday Pizza will change the way you use pizza. They do a lot of private events, but they are usually at the Saturday Sunrise Farmer's Market. If you do not try them, you are absolutely missing out!

Yummy, fresh pizza with lots of options! Loved the fluffy crust. I had the EVOO one and it was delicious.

Good barbecue is tough to find around here. And great barbecue? I've only had it once in Northern…read moreCalifornia. Until today. Pitmaster/Chef Michael has an amazing backstory. I actually stumbled across the Dirty Pit BBQ page on the Nextdoor app, where he had posted a video about an unhoused community member who needed a bike. Michael was reaching out to the community and using his platform to see if anyone had an old bike they were getting rid of, or even one to sell and he would buy it and then gift it to the man. Today, Michael told me that he saw the person just the other day, and someone came through with the bike. As I stood talking with him, enjoying my meal (more on that in a second), there was not one but two other people who were standing nearby. Michael offered both of them some food and a smile, saying he knows how hard it is out here. I don't know that I've seen that level of generosity ever at a food stand, and I'm here for it. The question, then, is Does the food measure up? And that's an easy one to answer. I was the third party in line at about 12:15 this afternoon, shortly after opening, so I was able to get a good look at what I was already smelling. No one got to the front before being offered a sample - a bite of tri-tip or a burnt end or an oxtail - which was a great way to try almost everything in one visit. Amazingly, there were zero misses, and everything on the menu was as delicious as Chef Michael described. I chose tri-tip, ribs, and burnt ends for my plate, with mac n cheese and beans as my sides (though I was also offered a sample of collard greens, as well), and I can tell you this: the biggest problem you're going to have is narrowing down your choices. The tri-tip is tender and flavorful, and the temperature was a very nice medium rare. The oxtails had a fantastic homemade blend of seasoning. I don't often order oxtails, but these had such a comfort-food quality that I immediately realized I've been missing out. The pork ribs were large, meaty, and perfectly seasoned. The burnt ends had an incredible glaze. I brought a bite of mac n cheese over to take a dip in the burnt end sauce and almost fell over, it was so good. The mac n cheese was exactly what you want it to be - a nice crust on top, and cheesy, gooey goodness all throughout. As for the beans and the collard greens: I can't remember ever having better beans or greens anywhere, ever, and that's after living in the South for over a decade. The greens were incredible - so often they're too salty or bitter, but I could eat a whole plate of these. And the beans were the most savory, hearty bbq beans you've ever seen. I've literally never been excited about bbq beans, because so often people either heat them up straight from a can, or cook them in a way that makes them taste like they're canned anyway. These beans were insane, and that in an of itself is kind of an insane thing to say about beans. All of that to say, this is competition-winning-level stuff here. And let's put this in context - at this point, Chef Michael has his meats and sides all kept in catering trays lined with foil, which would make it tricky for an all-day setup. But he's been selling out before anything gets too dry. I've been fortunate to be at the front of the proverbial line of a few of the best (Texas Monthly Top 50 - actual best!) bbq places in Texas before they blew up (Corkscrew in Spring when it was a trailer and a tent, Tejas in Tomball when it was a chocolate shop), as well as most of the famous spots, and I am completely confident in saying that if Chef Michael keeps up this level of smoking and cooking, we're looking at what could become the gold standard for NorCal bbq.

You're invited to attend if you love quality grilled food... After looking over the limited menu, I went with a basket of "Mr. Pork Sausage Loaded Fries," as you can't miss by combining grilled pork and deep fried fries. My "Mr. Pork Sausage loaded Fries" began with a bed of fries, seasoned and deep fried to a perfect light golden brown on the outside, yet white, juicy and tender on the inside. The "mountain" of fries was topped with a generous helping of grilled sausage - you can watch the chef grill the sausage - which was seasoned, bursting with juice, and all so tender after being cooked on the outdoor grill. Next, a generous helping of cheese jalapeno sauce was added from a squeeze bottle, which was surprisingly thick, and added a tangy, cheesy goodness to this amazing basket of fries and sausage. Next came helpings of both buffalo and garlic sauce... what exactly is "buffalo sauce" anyway? Not matter what it is, it's wonderful and along with the garlic sauce - which resembled ranch dressing - made for a "oh-my-goodness!" basket of fries, topped with sausage. From what I gathered talking to the staff, their menu has a lot of influence from Brazil, and the fine culinary cuisine the country offers, but I didn't get to follow through on the conversation, as the restaurant was extremely busy during my early afternoon visit. One bite into this amazing dish brought a taste sensation, as the flavors of fries, grilled sausage, cheese, along with the tangy buffalo sauce and a dash of garlic made for a amazing tasting experience. The flavors mingled well together, and I especially loved the cheesy goodness the cheese jalapeno sauce had to offer. The "Mr. Pork Sausage Loaded Fries" may look like a snack, but for the average person, including "yours truly," it made for a meal which kept me full for the rest of the afternoon. Combine the good times enjoyed at the Placer County Fair, along with a helping of "Mr. Pork Sausage Loaded Fries," along with a dose of super friendly service... you have a winning combination! Enjoy Mr. Pork Grill at various events in Placer Country, and in the greater Sacramento region!

My only complaint on this Sunday, June 21st, is that after the initial basket of bread (which had exactly four pieces for the 4 of us) we were told by Reece that the restaurant charges $2.00 for each extra piece of bread! I was shocked, and frankly, it's an insult in my opinion, that Rudy's is so "cheap" about the bread! For all we pay for our dinners, asking for extra bread should not be a problem nor an extra charge! That really is a shame because now I am hesitant to consider bringing friends to Rudy's. I hope management will reconsider its' position on the service of bread.
