Come here for the BURGERS and SHAKES the fries weren't my favorite, but the burger was fire! All the waitresses were so kind and worked so hard! The outdoor seating was amazing I'm sure it's PACKED in the winter because the indoor seating is small. I will be back tho! read more

We were starving and halfway to home, so we decided to stop by and boy are we glad we did! The look of this place is pretty fun. It's been around since 1950 and everything inside has that vibe. Old license plates, hubcaps, glass soda bottles, tin signs, etc. Now on to the food. The bacon on my cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Criss Cross fries. They have just the right amount of seasoning and crispness. The onion rings are battered instead of breaded and it makes them taste superb. Their corn dogs are decent too. And they totally nailed the fry sauce. They even gave us like 7 or 8 fry sauces and hitch was great to not have to ask them for more. We've only been here twice. The first time the hamburger was big and tasty. This time (1year later) the hamburger patty was half the size and thin as paper, practically no flavor. The best thing were the waffle fries, which were yummy! Like being able to sit outside. read more

Quick and good fast food. If you are in the middle of Utah on I -15 pull off and find this cute little place. We sat outside and enjoyed a burger and a Ruben, I really like a good Ruben, I was not disappointed, actually delighted. The sweet potato fries with Utah fry sauce added a nice touch. Cluff's car hop is a great spot to drive by and pick up a classic and very tasty drive in burger. During Covid they were providing carside service and now they are allowing people inside to place their order. They have a large patio with lots of shade and tables to accommodate many people. Recently on my way back down to lake Powell I ordered one of their burgers with mushrooms in it with their sweet potato fries and fry sauce. The other person traveling with me ordered the Malibu chicken burger and said the chicken was moist and overall a tasty burger. It's my favorite lunch spot to drop in at whenever I am roadtripping past Filmore. I highly recommend. During lunch and dinner hours the lines can be long but the wait is never longer than 15 minutes. read more

I came through this area on my way home and was so glad I did. This place is so charming, and the food is delicious. It's not common to find an old style restaurant like this one. You stay in your car to order, pay via credit card due to covid, and they bring your food to you. Please tip them well. Places like this need to stay in business. What a cute little place! I dropped in on my drive from Kanab to Provo. I ordered the special - the mushroom Swiss burger. I was famished and It sure hit the spot! The fries were fresh, hot, and from real potatoes. I had a chocolate soda which you don't see on menus much anymore. That soda brought back a lot of great memories - it was authentic. The food is like stepping back in time but somehow it still seems current. The place is tiny but they have a wonderful patio that looked like it extended to the side of the restaurant. Super cute stop to eat at and I'm pretty sure this is a local favorite because we looked like the only outsiders. There is NO carhop service according to the sign posted on their door but I saw the waitress delivering to some cars, so not sure what that's about. They were SUPER busy for a Thursday morning (11:30) but we were starving after being on the road for 8 hours, so I was excited to find this place. I expected to be super wowed by the food after all of the reviews, so we ordered 2 burgers, 2 Santa Fe chicken sandwiches, fried mushrooms (don't see that too much anymore). Big portions and the food was just okay. Our burgers were good but the chicken sandwiches came fried when my hubby swore he ordered grilled but it must have been good otherwise cuz they ate them. The fries and mushrooms were under-seasoned so once they cooled off, it wasn't that great. My real cherry coke was awesome though. :-) Timing wasn't too bad considering how busy they were but the staff was small and nice but seemed stressed trying to get all of the orders and delivering food to everyone. I would try again maybe the next time through but keep expectations in check, it's a regular burger stop :-) PS - we didn't try the shakes but I'm sure they are awesome :-) read more

Very yummy. Fillmore is a weird town, but this is a little gem tucked away on the main drag. The food was very yummy. I got their grilled cheese, which was very cheesy! I also got the garden salad. It was the most eclectic mix of veggies, but fairly tasty. We also tried a peach and a strawberry marshmallow shake, which were also very good. My husband got the Santa Fe burger and kids got hot dogs and hamburgers. Everything was good. Will definitely be back on future road trips! read more

Passing thru Fillmore today. Wanted an old fashioned burger place. Yelp search brought me to Cluff's Car Hop! First impression is 40's drive in with a eclectic look. Car Hop met us as we drove up to park. Menu is located on front of building, but small and bad angle to see it. Car Hop brought us a travel menu. Very accommodating!! Pretty standard drive in menu with a few newer twist. I was feeling the patty melt & Lrg Fries. Wife had the Fish/Fry Basket. Made are order and we were looking at all the decorations that make this place unique. Boom! our order was coming out in less than 10 Minutes!!! Great Car Hop's with great service!!! Now for the food! Patty melt was super hot, caramelized Red Onions and they were thick and done perfect. Patty had fresh beef flavor. Swiss cheese was also thick cut. This was all on 2 big slices of pumpernickel bread. Awesome!! They take this to the next level with hand cut Fries from fresh potatoes. Matched with Fresh made Fry Sauce! Oh Yea this was what I wanted. So fresh and HOT that I had to wait in between bites. 5 Stars. Wives Fish & Chips basket was also really good. Fresh made Tartar Sauce! Fresh Lemon slices! Friendly and fast service for us! All the people behind the counter were so nice and friendly! My husband and I had turkey wraps and they were filled with plenty of fresh cut veggies and turkey. They were delicious! The kid had a burger that looked amazing and was reported to be perfect. We all shared the onion rings which were great - not greasy and nice ranch on the side. It's got a retro vibe without trying to be--it feels like a throwback to the legends of Hwy 66. We got the blue cheese & mushroom burger and a plain cheeseburger and a coffee shake, and they were perfect food for the scenic road trip across US 50.
