Amazing Pizza and service! This is very good Pizza and ESPECIALLY being able to find Pizza this good in the middle of nowhere lol. Staying in town for a night and decided to grab a pizza. I don't know where else you can get a small pizza for $5 for however many toppings you want. I got pepperoni, sausage and Canadian bacon. These are thick crust pizzas and half of one filled me up completely. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. read more

The wife and I were traveling from St George to Park City and before we left I randomly chose places on the way to get a Yelp suggestion on where to eat lunch on the way. Some how I stumbled across 5 Buck Pizza (5BP is my short cut name) in Fillmore, UT. Coincidentally, it was in a location that would put us there at just after 1pm, so perfect for lunch on the road. We got off I-15 and followed the directions to 5BP and I blew right past it as the sign is a bit faded as you can see in the pictures. After a u-turn, I found the lot and parked the truck right in front. No one else was in the parking lot and it was about 1:30pm at this point. We were hungry. As we stepped into the modest restaurant we were greeted with a fantastic pizza parlor smell. Suddenly, I was hungrier. We were then greeted by a pleasant woman ready to take our order. We needed a couple minutes to see our options and to peruse the menu on the wall behind the counter. In the meantime we chatted with the server and found out that she was the daughter of the owners and they had started the restaurant, back then a growing chain, 21 years ago. At the cash register, there was an sign with the combo special. $6.49 for an 8" pizza and a drink. Was this an old sign they forgot to take down? $6.49? I checked and the offer was still valid. After reviewing the menu and with a little help from reading precious yelp reviews, I ordered the Meat Monster. Since this was on the Gourmet Pizza Menu, I had to pay an extra fee of $1, making the pizza and soda $7.49. Awesome. The wife ordered a custom pizza of pepperoni and black olive, the set up she loves. $6.49. The Meat Monster is a combo of the following: Pepperoni, canadian bacon, spicy sausage, ground beef, bacon, extra cheese and sprinkled with montreal steak seasoning. Wow, it was a great pizza. First of all, it was piping hot and I had to wait, but I didn't want to wait, but I had to so I didn't burn the roof of my mouth, but I couldn't wait so I burnt the roof of my mouth. Dang it! I had to back off and let it cool. A bit of parm, some crushed red pepper and this was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Yum, yum, yum. Do not hesitate, get this pizza in your mouth. The wife not only got her pie, but was offered to try their fresh made ranch. How did they know my wife was a fresh/homemade ranch dressing freak? Bottom line is that she loved it. Oh, and the pizza was great as well. We each ate 1/2 of our pies, so we boxed them up. Even thought we had just had these pizzas for lunch, we happily finished them at our condo for dinner the same nite. Heated in the oven, it was good, but not a great as the fresh ones from the pizza oven. After visiting I looked up info about 5BP. It was a growing chain in the 1990's with 30-40 locations, but now there are four locations. Here in Fillmore, Orem, and two in Cedar City. I would stop at another one if in those areas, but I do recommend stopping in Fillmore and trying the pizza at this location. Go. Eat Well. Have Fun! read more

While driving from LA to SLC, it was dinner time and there weren't many choices out in this neck of the proverbial woods. I remembered I had stopped at "5 Buck Pizza" during a previous trip a few years ago. I was not disappointed then, and was again pleasantly surprised this time around. This is certainly not any sort of an "upscale" place. You order at the counter and sit down. Your pizza is quickly and freshly made and brought out to you. They have a few booths and tables where you can comfortably sit and eat your food. The pizza is tasty, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I will look forward to stopping here to break my journey and enjoy some good pizza again in the future. read more

Really tasty pizza in Fillmore. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were visiting the local shops during the 4th of July week. We tried this highly rated pizza place at the end of the week. We ordered some spicy wings, bread, Pepperoni Pizza and a Taco Pizza. The pepperoni pizza and the wings were the most flavorful items. The taco pizza was good but not our favorite. It's a deconstructed soft taco on a pizza, interested in making a version at home. Bread was fine, it's your standard "Krazy bread" breadsticks. Little dry for my taste but seasoned well. This is a nice local pizza shop with very friendly people working there. read more

This is the best stop on the way to St. George. Our family loves ordering a pizza when we're about 20 minutes out, stopping and having some pretty darn good pizza on our drive. The kids look forward to this part of the trip. Folks are friendly and the pizza is good quality. Much better than you'd expect for the middle of Utah in little Filmore. read more

We have been stopping on our way to and from Park City at 5 Buck Pizza in Filmore for lunch. The little pizza is excellent and just enough for a quick bite. My wife and I split it and we each get a half our way. We call when we are about 10 miles out and the pizza is ready for us when we arrive. Good to see that the price has gone up as there is no way this business could survive on $5 for even the smallest of pizzas. read more

It's almost the middle of nowhere... and there is a diamond in the rough. Really... hands down amazing authentic Italian pizza. We were on a very long drive from SoCal into Utah and really wanted some good food that wasn't a drive through. After reading all the reviews - we had to try. It's a very small shop, but the moment you step in your senses are greeted with PIZZA.. and you know you're smelling good pizza not that fast food junk. The sauce is perfect.. crust- amazing. It has the right amount of crisp from the middle of the pizza to the ends which can be hard to come by. Most of the time the middle is soggy and the ends crispy. If you're on a long road trip trying to find some good food on your travels--- this is the place to stop! If you passed the exit, just turn around. Was passing through the area and I was intrigued by the price point. For $5 you have the option between their regular pizza (I believe it was a 12") with unlimited toppings or the gourmet pizza (10"). Initially I wasn't sure what the difference between the two pizzas were but for the regular pizza the topping choices are pretty limited (the only meat options are pepperoni, sausage, or Canadian bacon) whereas on the gourmet pizza has better toppings (ex: chicken alfredo pizza, bbq chicken pizza, etc). I decided on the regular pizza because I wasn't sure I'd be full with the 10" but boy was I wrong. I think you can't go wrong with either one considering the price. The pizza ended up being really yummy and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it considering how this place was just a hole in the wall. One thing I wish I had done differently was call in to place my order because the wait was a bit long but they were busy. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stop by to try the gourmet pizza. read more

Hole in the wall restaurant. It was recommended by a previous customer to call ahead so we did. The girl on the phone has no idea how to handle that. It took her three times putting the phone down to ask someone how to do that. She did not get over her confusion by the time we got there. I'll going to guess this was her first night. The pizza was decent. At least it was better than gas station pizza. It filled us up anyway. Not the cleanest store either. Not sure why people cannot cut pizza evenly. Perfect pit stop. The pizza was even good the next day cold. The shop does a standard price per size and you can add on all the toppings you want. A small personal (8" is $5). We went for the family deal (large premium + large cinnamon pizza + 2 liter) for only $17.99. Pizza works well cold the next day, but don't plan to same the wacky sticks or cinnamon pizza...they get way too hard even if you reheat. The service is super friendly. They were a bit slow, but it was understandable as a bunch of orders came in the same time we placed ours. When busy expect 40 min to get you pizza. read more

Okay, another review from a person passing through the area. Sorry locals. I'm from California and people get pretty snobby about their pizzas there (me included). But this place is just all-American goodness with the Alfredo and ranch on pizzas. God bless this establishment and bless the chicken Alfredo pizza. The taco supreme pizza is basically a Taco Bell Crunchwrap supreme on a thicker crust, which is also delicious. The only downside is that it's difficult to pack up leftovers because your ranch and lettuce would just fly all over the car. Also, get the ranch. It's homemade and tastes super fresh with the right consistency and perfect amount of tartness. The pizza and wings were so good after rolling around in the hot springs and staring at the cows. Service was great (shoutout to the girl with the glasses who explained everything on the menu and took our order). Thank you 5 Buck Pizza for making me love America. read more

I was put off initially by the name "5 Buck pizza" - as it didn't suggest quality - but I'm glad I gave this place a chance. It's a family business which has been going 18 years - and $5 wasn't seen as cheap back then! My pizza was excellent, with really nice fluffy dough, and homemade ranch sauce. Pizza is good and cheap. However, all but one employee was not wearing a mask and my elderly/vulnerable father and I were just passing through town while moving. Unfortunately, staying home while in the middle of a move isn't exactly possible. The half dozen other customers were also maskless while inside, and were not asked by staff to put on a mask. My wife and I stopped here on a road trip to Salt Lake City and it was one of the few places to eat in the area. The reviews were so positive, we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. We ordered a supreme pizza and the cinnamon bread sticks - delicious! The pizza came out quickly and the crust, cheese, and sauce were perfect. They were generous with their toppings and had a good selection. Also loved that you can pick as many toppings as you want without extra charge. Highly recommend the cinnamon sticks as well - they were piping hot and dripping with delicious icing and cinnamon sugar. We were enroute home and stayed in Fillmore after a very long day driving. Our motel gave us a few recommendations and we decided on pizza. Honestly we didn't expect much in this small town but were we ever wrong. First of all, the two staff members were so pleasant and welcoming. We ordered the Meat Lovers and it was fantastic. It was full of meats, a great red sauce and delivered HOT in record time. A medium pizza like this would easily cost $14/16 in other markets but was much less here. read more
