I am writing to formally complain about the moving services provided by Two Men and a Truck on May…read more27, 2026. I hired your company on May 22, 2026, for a move scheduled on May 27, 2026. The agreed estimate for the move was between four and six hours for a partial household move consisting of approximately one bedroom and part of a living room. I was also charged an additional $75 fee to ensure that my mattress and furniture would be properly wrapped and protected to avoid damages. The total estimated cost provided to me was $1,391. The movers arrived late at approximately 9:30 a.m. after reportedly getting lost several times while attempting to locate my address. From the beginning, the workers appeared extremely inexperienced and worked at an unreasonably slow pace. It took them more than four hours just to load the truck, which was completely unacceptable given the size of the move. During the loading process, I contacted Jose Andino multiple times to report the excessive delays. By approximately 1:00 p.m., the movers were still loading the truck. Throughout the move, my family and I repeatedly instructed the movers to be more careful with our belongings. Their responses were dismissive, including statements such as, "It's okay" and "It's no big deal." The furniture was then transported to my new address. Once again, we requested that the movers handle the furniture carefully, but our concerns were ignored. In addition, despite paying for a full-service move that included disassembling and reassembling furniture, my family and I were forced to assist the movers by holding doors and helping facilitate the move. Although the movers had been informed of the building's required move-in time frame, these concerns were dismissed. Ultimately, the building supervisor had to make an exception to allow the movers to finish and remove furniture that had been left sitting in the hallway. At the conclusion of the move, several items were left unfinished, and two chairs were never delivered. At this time, I still do not know the location of those chairs. Furthermore, despite the damages caused to my furniture and the incomplete services provided, I was informed that I would still be charged $1,992 instead of the original estimate of $1,391. After the move, I again contacted Jose Andino to report the damages and missing items. I was told the driver would complete a damage report; however, no report was ever provided to me. I was then informed that because the company would be busy on May 28, 2026, I would not receive a call from a manager for at least 48 hours. I find this completely unacceptable. A matter of this seriousness should be addressed with urgency. I am an elderly woman who was willing to pay the necessary cost to avoid having to physically assist with the move and to ensure that my belongings would be handled professionally and with care. Instead, I have been left with damaged furniture, missing items, incomplete services, and an apartment that I am now forced to refurnish. I have even been left without a bed to sleep on as a result of this experience. Your company was hired to perform a professional moving service. Instead, it appeared that two inexperienced employees with little or no moving experience were assigned to my move, resulting in substantial inconvenience, stress, and financial loss. As a result of this unacceptable service, I am requesting the following: Full reimbursement of the $1,992 charged for services that were not performed according to the contract and for the damages caused. Compensation for all damaged furniture, including the removal and replacement of damaged items. An immediate investigation regarding the missing chairs and either their return or reimbursement for their value. A copy of the damage report that was promised but never provided. Please contact me promptly to resolve this matter. If this issue is not addressed appropriately and in a timely manner, I am prepared to pursue further action through my credit card company, consumer protection agencies, the Better Business Bureau, and any other legal remedies available to me. I expect a prompt response regarding this matter, as I need to be fully moved in no later than May 30, 2026.

All of those prior moves would have received five stars for their reviews - professional movers who were always faster than their estimates. This move deserves zero stars. First move for me where I needed to store my stuff for a week in between houses. No clear explanation that the estimate I received was for only the first half of the move. Final bill was FOUR times the amount I paid for my last move. You may understand your method of operating but your customers don't do this on a daily basis. Care enough about them to make sure they completely understand how much they owe before the move. Movers were not the quick and careful movers of before. Plus I had to argue with the movers for several minutes when they finally got to my new house that they could NOT block my neighbor's driveway. The computer monitors they packed for me came out scratched because they were wrapped with the end of the cord against the screens. Constantly asked, "where does this go?" without removing the wrap around the furniture. Sorry, but I don't have x-ray eyes. Needless to say, I will NOT use Two Men & a Truck in the future.

They were more expensive than many other quotes, but I decided they could be trusted for the move. The two men packed and moved me and everything was fine, until I discovered that some very expensive things were missing. It would be my word against theirs, so there was nothing I could do. They did a good job moving, but I will never use this company again because of the theft.
