I have been driving past this location for ever and never stopped or noticed there was a coffee spot here, maybe due to snow or never crossed my mind? But this shop has many great choices, coffee and pastries to try from. Limited seats inside and seems like a grab n go, but definitely enough room to enjoy your treat inside. Support small businesses is the way to go.

We ordered apple strudel, chocolate scone, egg bite, and a latte. Their coffee was really good, we even bought a bag of whole bean coffee. Every comment says their apple strudel is amazing, it tasted good, not too sweet, but I thought the chocolate scone was more amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There are limited seats and packed on weekends, but the line moved quickly. I also liked the atmosphere inside, many cute signs.

Iced vanilla latte and store front

Stopped by before heading to Reno. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I even noticed they knew their regular customers by name. Loved the decor of the coffee shop. I got the vanilla latte, and the coffee was smooth and didn't have the bitter aftertaste. Definitely recommend!

Clyde's is my favorite coffee shop in South Lake, certainly the best within a 15 mile radius! The location is such a cozy, tucked away vibe. Parking can fill up quick during busy hours. Atmosphere is very chill and cottage-y. Sunny mornings are second to none here with their front patio. The espresso bevs all check out and the staff could not be more friendly! I've had their latte and cappuchino and they are all delicious and properly made. Diverse selection of home made baked goods available: something sweet, something savory. Always worth the stop!

On my trip to South Lake Tahoe, I ended up stopping here twice and I'm so glad I did! The coffee shop itself is so cute, such a cozy and inviting vibe. I ordered a classic vanilla iced latte and it was absolutely delicious. Their pastries are just as amazing. If you're a coffee lover, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out!

Definitely give this place a try! The coffee and bagels were so good, and the front desk lady at the register was so friendly and inviting. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Tahoe.

Such a cute coffee spot! Came here on a Saturday morning to grab some much needed coffee. The service was super fast and the drink was soo yummy. Definitely would come back again!

During our stay in Lake Tahoe, we went to this coffee shop three or four separate times every single time the coffee was perfectly done and the pastries were delightful. This is one of those places that's a local spot and we're so happy we found it. Everyone was so kind, both the employees and other customers were friendly. Blueberry scone was sooo good and the egg bites were great but sell out quick! I tried a different coffee each day just to ensure everything was 10/10 it turned out to be 100!

Visited on a rainy morning and the line was quite long. Luckily it moved fast so I wasn't standing in the cold for too long. The interior is nicely decorated and cozy, but walking around felt very claustrophobic since there was a lot of people and not too much space between the tables and chairs. I ordered Clyde's hot mocha drink and it was good, but nothing fancy. Might have to try some other menu items as it seems like a popular coffee shop.

Our favorite spot for coffee whenever we're in Tahoe! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with light pastries, bagels, and granola. The staff is always so kind always smiling and taking a moment to chat, which makes it feel extra welcoming. The drinks are amazing! Our daughter always gets the hot chocolate, I go for my classic oat milk iced vanilla latte, and my husband loves trying whatever the special of the day is. And yes they have crushed ice! We even keep a punch card here because we make it a point to stop by every visit. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local small business!

Clyde's Coffee Roasting is a nice little local coffee shop in Stateline, we decided to head over here for some coffee after ordering bagels at Tahoe Bagel Company. The coffee shop has a homey vibe and we enjoyed our bagels and coffee on their outdoor patio. I decided to order the Iced Caramelicious, which was tasty and sweet. The staff were friendly and welcoming, I received my order in a timely manner. They also seem to have some delicious pastries, which I probably would've tried if we didn't get bagels beforehand. Overall, if you're searching for a good local coffee spot, this is a great option.

We checked this spot out during a 3 day Weeknd up in Tahoe. First of all! shout out to the homies working that day. They had Stick Figure playing in the background, added to the whole vibe. well back to it, the estetic of the place was very easy going. Cabin style, wooden wall panels, and just had a homey-feeling to it. The coffee they had was all good. The lavender latte was on point.

Clyde's coffee shop is one of the best of the best. The food, the pastries, cannot be beat. I'm not exaggerating when I say you will not find a fresher more tasty pastries than the ones here. Anytime of day, the pastries taste like they were just baked. Until you've had a scone from Clyde's, you have not had a scone. Their blueberry scone is literally fresh from the oven. It's not chewy and dry. It's amazing. The coffee is brewed to perfection. I always go for a simple house coffee with some non-fat milk. The service here is about the best service I've ever had in a restaurant. Every time I'm in the South Lake Tahoe area, I go well out of my way to get coffee and pastries at Clyde's. The ambiance inside the coffee shop is perfect.

First, this is a coffee and Kava lounge. I don't know much about Kava, so I can only speak to the coffee. They do also have some food, but I am not sure how that works since there was only a single employee when we visited. Maybe only certain hours? Maybe it just takes some time? Not sure, we skipped food on this visit. We ordered one of their signature matcha drinks and a cold brew. The single employee was friendly and doing the best she could, but it got quite busy and I could tell she was struggling to keep up. The prices at the register were $0.25-$0.75 higher than what was listed on the menu board. Always a bit annoying... The matcha was good, the foam texture is very cool, however the cup was more ice than beverage. The cold brew was fine, nothing special but still tasty. I liked the vibes a lot when I walked in here. It's filled with plants and natural light, but then I looked around a bit more and the space just felt messy. There was stuff everywhere, boxes laying on the ground, and generally just a lot of clutter in the space. Overall, I think there are better coffee spots in South Lake Tahoe. If you're looking for Kava, give this place a go, but for coffee I would steer you somewhere else.

It would not be out of place in a three-Michelin-star dining room. He roasts every batch himself over a wood fire, feeding a beautiful old roaster with logs he chops by hand. His espresso blends are composed with a level of precision that feels almost synesthetic. Ask him what he is aiming for and he will describe the roast in shapes: how wide the base should be, whether it tapers or flares, how many sides the finished polygon has. I have stood there listening, fascinated, with no real idea what he is talking about, then tasted the cup and understood anyway. Important to know: this is not a coffee shop. There is no barista counter. It is a modest storefront and warehouse, and if you stop by you will likely see Tim at the roaster, stoking the fire. The aroma is arresting from the street. That wood fire imparts a signature note that sets his coffee apart. It does not turn smoky in the jerky sense. It reads as a gentle campfire thread running through the cup, adding warmth and dimension without heaviness. Since moving away from Reno I miss these beans enough that I cave and pay the shipping. If you order Priority Mail, the bags arrive right in the early sweet spot of their drinkability window, perfect for dialing in extraction. If you know your way around a grinder and an espresso machine, get these beans. Tim Curry is an amazing craftsman making world-class coffee, one hand-roasted batch at a time.

I'm a huge fan of Coffeebar in general, so when I saw a location I had never known about or been to, I threw it straight into the map and headed over around 1 PM. This location is a small shop with only a little bit of seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. This is primarily the roasters location, so it's a great place to enjoy the freshest of coffee but also a great place to purchase beans. They had a very large selection of beans for purchase. They still offer a decent menu and a few snacks, though much smaller than the other location. My wife enjoyed a matcha and I enjoyed one of the exclusive roastery blends on drip. Both drinks were very good. The quality of the drip coffee was superior. I want to visit again and try a coffee flight. That's something I've always wanted to do. Overall, friendly staff, delicious coffee, and even though it's hard to find, this hidden gem is well worth the stop. Cheers!
