    Original boneless chicken
    Kate C.

A little dissappointed that they dont give the same 2 dips for the original boneless as they do at the PoCo CM chicken. This burnaby location gives pickled daikon instead and the chicken is lightly dusted with some spicy powder. The portion is less and the chicken is also not as juicy here. It is the same light delicious crispiness though. Otherwise still one of the better korean fried chicken places but next time I would go back to PoCo for it

A couple other tables also arrived throughout the course of our meal, but it wasn't really busy. We sat at a table with short stools. It was a little uncomfortable for one of my friends since they're quite tall and their knees were positioned awkwardly. There are other tables with normal sized chairs at the table. We got a bunch of different items to try between the meats for grilling, some hot foods, skewers, and a couple plum beverages. This was the first time that I've been to a restaurant that uses wax paper on the grill. I'm guessing they do this to minimize the cleaning that needs to be done for the grill. I feel like I prefer grilling meats directly on the grill for the char, but this wasn't a dealbreaker for me. There is a limited self-serve sauce bar and they offered the typical sauces that you would expect. The vermicelli dish was probably our favourite, but the quality of the meats was good. This restaurant feels like a mix of Chinese and Korean foods since they offered kbbq but their skewers were seasoned with Chinese spices.

The meats were well marinated, tender and flavorful after you BBQ them on the grill in front of you. The lettuce and perilla leaves were fresh and crisp without any sight of browning or old leaves. I enjoyed the lamb skewers because it's not too overly seasoned like some places. The sauce bar had a good variety of sauces, freshly cut garlic and seaweed salad for snack. The fridge was stocked full of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. They were easy to locate and grab yourself if you need to. Last and not least, the service was outstanding. Very friendly staff and took the time to explain the menu and grill for us. They helped clean the grill twice and chatted us up before we left hoping we had a good meal.

The prices seem decent so we placed am order for the popcorn chicken and a chicken sandwich but they ran out of both on a Sunday night. So we settled for an original 3 piece meal (3 pieces of fried chicken, fries, and drink) and 3 pieces of chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce. Upon pick up I asked if the honey mustard sauce was included and was told 'yes'. I saw a sauce cup in there so was super disappointed that they packed ketchup but forgot to give us the honey mustard for the chicken fingers. For me, chicken fingers just aren't the same without honey mustard sauce. It also hit us that they never asked us what drink we wanted - they just threw in a can of pepsi in there automatically. Aside from the drink and absence of the honey mustard sauce, the fried chicken is really fresh, juicy, and a good portion. I really enjoyed how none of the food was overly greasy too! For $13.49 for a 3 piece meal where the fries were also really good, I would recommend. Would probably go back but recommend double checking on the honey mustard sauce!

They have screens to order from, our people can order using their phones. There are quite a bit of promotional items and sales on now, such as the One Piece bento boxes. When this place first opened, there were long lineups but now the hype has died down so there's alot less people. The service is a bit slow for a fast food place. We waited about 15 minutes to get our order on a Tuesday evening. We got the chicken tenders, nuggets, fries, and mini chicken burger. The burger was definitely the best out of these. The piece of chicken was quite large, about an inch thick in most parts. Tasted great too, especially with the pickles. There's a lot of mayonnaise in the burger which is great for the taste buds (and not so much the calories). They give 2 sauces for the chicken orders which is really nice. We got 2 honey mustard ones which tasted pretty good. Overallthe food was not bad, but there are lots of other options around, especially with the food court being upstairs.

Some pieces have batter coming off from strips. Fries were salty as it came pre-seasoned. I'll never get their fries again. Coleslaw was creamy and tasty. I was already too full to try the biscuit. Staff was apologetic when I told her about salty fries. I was recommended to get their onion rings on the next visit. Food was okay overall.

But on a Saturday ~12pm, there isn't a line outside the door so we finally gave it a try and we were glad we did. We ordered the double decker noodles, garlic chicken noodles and galbi. The galbi were fall off the bones tender and packed with flavor. Double decker noodle was HUGE, and boldly flavored, and have a kick but not too spicy. The garlic chicken noodle was flavorful, creamy, and comforting. The only down side is the restuarant is a bit tight, you feel very close to the next table. But the food makes up for it.

We arrived around 6:20pm and asked for a table for 4. There are no reservations but we were the first in line, with a line up quickly forming behind us. We waited for around 10 minutes and got seated. The tables are quite squished together and the chairs is multifunctional with big storage space underneath though are hard to move as they are heavy. We ordered the Galbi combo for 3 that includes galbi, kimchi chewy (Korean kimchi pancake), and choice of 3 noodles. We picked the Chicky Chicky ginseng, Double Decker, and Moosroom. We were provided with sharing bowls, plates, and extra tongs to share all the foods and given two separate sets of sauces, kimchi, and pickled radish to share. It was a bit strange to have paper cups, that become a bit flimsy but they didn't leak during our meal. Food came pretty quickly with the kimchi chewy (kimchi pancake) arriving first, galbi, and then the noodles. The kimchi pancake has decent flavour but was pretty mushy with no crispness to it, which was a bit disappointing. It wasn't really chewy either so out if all the items we tried, this one definitely has the most room for improvement. However, the galbi was AMAZING, meaty, tender, and beautifully flavored. This was definitely the highlight of the meal and we agreed we could all eat more. The Chicky Chicky ginseng noodle came first and it was really nice! The handmade noodles had a nice bouncy texture and chew to them and the broth was comforting and tasty. There were tons of chicken pieces that were tender and juicy - this was my favourite noodle dish. Next, the Mooshroom noodles. Again, great noodles and there were tons of mushrooms and had some spicy kick to the broth. We found the broth between the Mooshroom and Double Decker to taste similar except the Double Decker was slightly more spicy. Double Decker had a generous tender pork pieces (two) falling off the bones and noodles were great but like stated, broth tasted pretty similar to the Moosroom one. Overall, solid meal but they don't take cash, reservations, or takeout orders. Be prepared to wait for a table but service is pretty quick. For $110 for four people, we left full, satisfied, and with leftovers.
