She also let us come early to decorate the grass hedges we rented because the hall had an event earlier that day and we wouldn't have been able to do it in the time between our event and the prior one- literally a life saver. Worst company to deal with! The customer service was terrible. The tables and tent arrived late-which was very unprofessional. When they finally picked up on Monday (the event was on Saturday) they basically called me a liar! They claimed I had damaged their tables with my sprinklers-they haven't been turned on for 2 weeks prior to the event! They charged me $200 for something I didn't do!! Worst company to deal with! We rented furniture, linens, dishware, chairs, and lights from this vendor (I think they go by a new name, HD Rentals). We paid cash upfront as they gave us a discount (no tax). However, this was a BAD mistake. The delivery on the wedding day was delayed over two hours. They blamed it on "technical difficulties." Then, it took them an hour to start setting up the rooftop (where the ceremony was to take place). They were supposed to start with the set-up at noon as the ceremony started at 4 p.m., but because of their delay and short-staff, they didn't start with the set up on the rooftop until 3:00 p.m.! Guests started to arrive and chairs and tables had still not been laid out, so the guests, the groom, and the bridal party started to arrange the chairs, tables and linens so as to not further delay the ceremony! Photographs were scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on the rooftop (as we were told that the set up would be done by then) but since the vendor arrived late, we had to cut our photo session short as there were men unloading and setting up the rooftop. A wedding is a stressful day to begin with, but this added to the additional stress! I called to complain and they suggested that I wanted a "free wedding?" Excuse me!?!!? They ruined my wedding day, what was supposed to be one of the most important and memorable day in my life, and they wanted to say that I wanted a free wedding?!?! The wedding party, groom, and bride (all in our gowns and tuxes) as well as our guests were sweating as we were doing their job!! If they were two hours late, they should have supplied more manpower so that the set up would have been completed by the time the ceremony started! Any idiot knows that we can't do anything (i.e. decorate, seat guests, lay out food, etc) without the furniture! The vendor NEVER apologized and refunded a minimal amount. I called CMC to get a quote for an event, but still wasn't sure if I wanted to use them. The weather had been really hot these past few weeks and so my mother insisted we get tables with umbrellas. The original place I was going to rent from cost 1/4 of the price cmc was charging, but their tables didn't have any holes for umbrellas. Cmc also charges a delivery fee where the other place had none. When I called for the quote the lady told me to "reserve"it to make sure they had enough tables and chairs. I even told her I didn't know how many tables and chairs we actually need! I didn't want to reserve it just yet but she assured me I can still make changes. I called on monday and she asked me if they can deliver the stuff on friday, which would be fine if I decided to go with them (my party was on Sunday). Wednesday morning at 9:30 am they were in my driveway! I was furious!!! I felt like I was forced to go with them. I totally felt like I was fooled. What should have cost me $60 ended up costing me $210!!! Had the morons waited till even thursday I would have known I didn't need umbrellas at all because it was a gloomy day!!! really upsetting that they cost me $150! Reading other reviews now and I see they are usually LATE in picking up and dropping off. I wish that was the case for us =| read more

Yes, they have a wide selection of rentals. Yes, they have very good prices. Way better than anyone else out there. BUT, if you rely on them to show up on time and pick up on time, DON"T hold your breath. After lengthy discussions with them about the importance of being at our wedding venue on time, both for drop-off and pick-up, with complete reassurance on their part, they were 40 min late in dropping off and they were an hour late in picking up. Because of this, they delayed set-up (and we were tight on time), and they almost cost me my deposit. If this was a one-time issue, I might be more understanding, BUT they were also late for dropoff and pickup at a separate event that my sister was hosting. If your venue has strict time rules about vacating the premises, their lack of punctuality can jeapordize your security deposit (which is usually in the thousands). And when that happens, they will turn around and blame your caterer. I just don't find that very professional. read more

Planning a baby gender party in my backyard on a day that is raining was very stressful specially with 60 guests. I was recommended to CMC threw a friend and they made life so much easier. I went to CMC and was greeted by Hosep and told him I've never rented a tent and needed help. Hosep asked me dimensions and I wasn't sure he offered to come to my house take Full measurements even make me a photo diagram of how everything looked. After I saw how everything would look I was very please so I rented a 40X25 tent with 6 circle tables, a heating blower, and a 20x12 dance floor. 1 day before the event rain showers became very strong and Hosep and Bella helped me threw the whole process from A to Z. I was honestly very happy with the customer service from Hosep and Bella at CMC they offered me things I need never tried to up sale me even when I asked for more heaters just to make sure my guests are warm they told me "Trust me you don't need it" and they were Right! I have been going here for over 8 years . I love love the workers there they have been their since day one so they really know their inventory . Nono and Ano the head sales women there always treat me so kindly and are patient with me while I decided . Their prices are very low and they have so much to choose from. Unfortunately we had a horrible experience with this company. We were charged an extra $200 because they said there was water damage to their tables. They set up on Friday (our event was outside on Saturday) and they didn't pick up until Monday. We didn't have the sprinklers on in the backyard and we live in the hills, fog is inevitable! We cleaned all the tables, linens, glasses, etc and they still charged us. Very disappointed with this company and will not use them again. Customer service wasn't very helpful either. read more

Everything worked out great for our wedding, besides the tables. They were weathered and did not line up, some of the legs were loose due to missing screws so i had to put a few screws in to make them function. Otherwise they delivered early and picked up a bit later which gave us time to pack up. Umbrellas looked great and silverware was really nice and clean. However, the day of my wedding they arrived at a much later time than they told me, my aisle was too short, my huppah was not as pictured and the ballroom was not done per instructions. Prices are great. Ladies answering phones know their stuff. Nono and Anno really know all their inventory And everything you might need. However, delivery guys are slow. Takes hours to set up. They can never give you a time for delivery. Not even on the same day. And the set up takes hours. They forgot items in the set up and had us waiting from 11 am to 7 pm. We had an absolutely positive experience with CMC Rentals for my cousins wedding. We're Nigerian and they provided equipment for both the traditional ceremony and the white wedding and both venues were set up beautifully. Their rental supplies are exquisite. Their customer service is also wonderful. At the wedding reception, I left my purse on the chair at the hotel. Because it was late on Saturday night when they picked up the supplies for the event, and the CMC office was closed on Sunday, the driver who noticed it held on to it because he didn't want to leave it in the truck in case another driver took the truck. Monday morning we went to the office and we were greeted so warmly by the owner and her staff. The worker returned the purse to me in a plastic bag and in perfect condition with all of its contents inside (including my wallet which had my IDs and credit cards inside-- everything was exactly as I had left it). The integrity of the workers is amazing and we are very pleased to have worked with them! Will definitely be using them again as they have such a friendly and trustworthy staff. read more

I shopped around for a good rental company and this company's prices were much better than others so I picked them, I filled out some paperwork and have the guys deliver the items 4 days prior to the event. We booked an appointment over 3 weeks ago with email confirmation to have a planner come out and give us an estimate. We wanted to tent our entire backyard (over 5000 sq ft), needed chairs, tables, chandeliers and whatever that was needed for a party this summer. Appointment day came (took time off from work) and no one showed up. Being professional and responsible is a huge deal for me and unfortunately we didn't get that from them .
