This place is a joke. It's shameful for this place to be all about " VIP experience " when it's hot in there. Coming from the extreme heat outside you expect to be in a cool setting mainly at the movies! the servers/runners don't know their seats, they forgot my friend's coke so I had to get out from the movie to go get it myself from the bar. Bartender was actually helpful right away. I ordered the chicken blt, the chicken had no flavor and the buns were COLD not even toasted and salty fries. The bread got stuck all on my teeth. The bathroom had no toilet paper and the soap from the dispenser out. My drink was okay but my friend's drink was an old fashion which I tasted to see what he was talking about and it tasted like pure bitters. It was definitely hard to drink. Poor management and no training apparently and the food was so disappointing. If this place was a regular movie theater you can get away with it but for this to be vip experience and pricey it's definitely a scam. I traveled far in my car to go see a movie on a busy day, and I knew I was going to have challenges but never like this. Coming in on a weekend day earlier, enough to wear? It didn't take me any more than 8 minutes to find a parking space. That I will later talk about me getting lost. I walked to the movie theater. On this unusually humid day before the crowd rushed, I walked up 2 flights of stairs because the escalator didn't work just to get to the elevator to get to the top of the theater. (#1) I was greeted by 2 people at the ticket counter and the one that spoke to me with the most rudest monotone flat leveled npn- cistomer sevice, I don't wat yo be here voice, that gave me no Eye contact Asked me, "which movie do you wanna see?" After I asked her if they had a veteran's discount, she told me. That is the veteran's discount. I looked over at the register to the right. And I was charged the same amount. Wasn't offered a menue. I later got my own from behind the empty bar before entering the theater. I came back at the time the show started, walked into the theater, and thought I would be able to eat and have a drink before any of the previews started. (#2) I waited 35 minutes after I pushed all 3 red service buttons attached to my seat and the ones on both sides to get service before I had to walk out and ask for service. I stood and looked at 2 waitresses opening and closing the cash register and taking orders. Which seemed like forever before they turned around and noticed to me. I was told, "There's no fee if you order from inside the theater, and the red service buttons haven't worked for a while,sir. (#3) I went back to my seat and waited 10 more minutes, watched two people that I could hear complaining about the service lights no working, walk out of the theater in frustration. I supposed they went to the bar as well. The previews came on, and then the waitress came in with a worst example enthusiasm as the ticket taker. I got my food and cocktail in a reasonable time and it was not bad but not memorable. Great movie (The Flash) worst group service...ever! I forgot where I parked my car and spent 45 min learning a lesson which added $10 to parking after validation. That night cost me $85 from park to drive off. read more

I went to go watch Barbie with a couple friends, the movie was wonderful the food and drinks were okay, the recliners were comfy and the service was horrible. Truly upset that when I told the young lady that she got my drink wrong she replied "well that's what it is, that's what you ordered SO!?" She took my drink with an attitude and i believe she even came back with the same drink but I wasn't going to go back and forth. I didn't let her ruin my night but because of that i would not return. Definitely a coffee taste but not too sure of the combination 5/10 Popcorn trio was good for the price 7/10 ** while we were waiting for someone to come take our order, as the buttons on the seat do not work. Some heavy set white woman walked up to us and asked for our tickets, since I bought them online through Apple Pay I did not get tickets. The manager at the front had to search for the tickets from the card number and then wrote our seat numbers down on a piece of receipt paper. My husband and I love watching movies so when we saw CMX has weekly deals we decided to give it a go! CMX is located in Brickell City Center on the 4th level right by the restaurants. There is also parking underneath BCC and CMX validates up to $6. There are two ways to purchase tickets. One is online, you get charged an additional fee that includes parking validation and 50% off dessert. If you're not parking in BCC, I suggest you go in person to get your ticket since you don't get charged that additional fee. They have specials online sometimes and special ticket prices on Tuesdays. Also, if you want to watch a movie with your friends, I highly suggest buying your ticket with your whole party, since they space out seats for COVID. The seats recline and the theater is smaller than typical theaters. They have a drink and food menu in which you can order from your seat while watching the movie. I'd like to shout out Trevor, the manager of CMX. He is such a great manager and goes above and beyond to please his clients. We didn't realize we needed to get our tickets in one transaction to sit with our friend and he was able to helps us out. He was also so personable and really cares about his business. I will definitely be coming back to watch more movies and some sports games from their bar! read more

Me and my family rented out a theatre to watch Wonder Woman. The movie was good as well as the good. The kids enjoyed themselves and they have recliners which make it even more comfortable. Luxurious Brickell City Center multiplex high atop Miami's glitziest shopping mall with just OK service and unbelievably overpriced tickets. 4 star ambience: While there are some logistical hiccups, the theaters are luxurious. Each theater has stadium seating but with only 25-30 Laz-y-boy style loungers recliners per theater. Directional signs are a little confusing. Parking is pricey (the BCC deck is really the only option unless you win the on street pay by phone lotto). 3 star service: While I realize this might not be the most well-paid or glamorous job, the 'tude on the part of most staffers here was obvious and a problem. One staffer didn't say a word but just silently pointed and walked away when we asked for directions. Thinking the strangely silent robot direction-giver would be the low point, I was surprised to hit a lower low. When I asked another staffer if they validate parking tickets, I actually got a snarl. Guys it's a movie theater, not the world's hottest nightclub... 2 star price to value: At $28 price tags for tickets for movies available in any multiplex, the experience should best be perfect. The seats were $28 quality, the overpriced fast food and bargain basement service were $5 matinee quality. Went here for $5 Tuesdays movie and it was well worth the experience at that price. Even at its normal ticket pricing, the seats are super comfortable and the theaters are great quality. If you're planning to eat dinner (or popcorn) here, though, expect to pay steep prices. A little disappointed by the small serving of cold popcorn, but otherwise good movie experience. read more

This place was alright, especially for the price of it. Came to watch a movie, had a family sit in front of me that was walking around the entire movie. They were loud as well which really ruined the movie experience. The movie theater was also very hot, which I found odd. The seats are really soft and cushiony, which was a plus. CMX Cinemas Brickell is my "backup" movie theater- it's a little dirty, the menu is limited, and the service is a bit slow. I typically just get a drink and small snack when seeing a movie here- the entrees are mediocre. They are typically also out of a few things on the menu- whether it's food items or drinks. The seats and bathrooms have seen better days. The good news is- it's been relatively empty the past few times we've went. Since the quality has gone downhill, most people have taken their business elsewhere, which has made the atmosphere a bit more "cozy". read more

The AC was broken in movie theater 3 so we were moved to movie theater 1. The food menu is hilarious. While heading inside our assigned theater, a staff member mentioned we were the only ones there and to "take our time." We pressed the buttons on the chair, waited for awhile and no one came to help us. I mentioned to my husband that I thought I remembered the buttons not working the last time we were here, so my husband stepped out and couldn't find a staff member to assist us. When the actual previews started, he stepped out again and went down to the front desk (and totally would have ordered and just brought it back himself), but was assured they would send someone to wait on us. No one ever came - not for the whole movie. So, again, if you're looking for a comfy place to watch a movie - great. I was invited to try this theater and their restaurant the Stone Sports Bar and I was very pleasantly surprised. From his first step inside you feel like you're entering a higher end boutique hotel. The modern interior with a stainless steel spiral staircase will get your attention at first. Turn the corner and jumbotron sized televisions line the entire two-story well showing sports of every kind. Text Staff with Barry how are you, friendly and professional. They walked us through the menu recommending dishes including the Steak au Poivre, the Chicken Bowl, the roasted Butternut Squash and Snapper. I was expecting a much simpler menu. They surpassed certifications and they did not disappoint. The thing was beautifully plated, and a delicious combination of ingredients perfectly prepared to order. I would have already planned to come back just based off of the entertainment value of the giant screen alone. This movie theatre is inside of Brickell City Centre it's really good if you want a two-in-one movie dinner/drinks. Everyone there is so helpful and the food is pretty good for a movie theater. My niece loved the classic burger and fries. My favorite the reclining seats! It's most definitely comfortable! This evening me and my family went to the Brickell location to watch Wicked. Upon arrival the theater was being "cleaned" even though it was still dirty and had a horrible smell. We noticed 3/4 of our chairs were broken. The leather was completely peeled off, they were tilted and when you sat on them a metal bar was coming up through the cushion. I went to the desk to inform them of the conditions of the theater but the urgency to show concern was not there. We have been coming to this location for years and today was probably the last. Have been coming to CMX as a go-to movie date spot and always have a great night. The food is high quality and there are lots of choices. Great vibe being located in BCC. I bought a Groupon a while back for a date night package and unfortunately it expired before I had the chance to use it. Groupon's policy is that you still should get the value you paid for it but you need to resolve directly with the merchant. This year I finally resolved to get that figured out and went in for support. I'm sure this was a very unique situation for them as it's been a pretty long time since CMX did any Groupon deals, but despite this, Miguel (one of the managers) was very professional and reviewed all the information to help see what could be reasonably offered in the circumstances. We were able to get my original value honored and I can't wait to come back soon for another fun date night at the movies with my husband! read more

The food that's offered is also a must for date nights or for whatever occasion. Plenty of food options and shopping before or after your your movie viewing experience near by. Overall it's ok and it's a decent way to enjoy a movie. The prices are expensive but fairly typical of the location. You are definitely not getting a discount for being in a movie theater. The service is OK but terribly slow. I don't think it's necessarily the fault of the staff but they really don't have the logistical chain to support a restaurant with an adjacent movie theater. Why somebody would come to a restaurant that is inside of a movie theater is beyond my level of comprehension, but expect that those patrons are supported first before getting around to the theater The food is served cold. Not bad if you are getting a poke bowl or a salad, but I had a burger that tasted like it was one of those display items at a Delhi that is supposed to be a model of what you are actually ordering, but then just took the display item and served that instead. It did taste like it would have been a good burger at the time it was cooked though. They did serve me the wrong pitcher of a beer at first. I was halfway thinking of just accepting it, but I did make the mistake of sending it back for the right item. You would think in such a scenario your item might then be prioritized, but instead they appeared to just add it back in to the regular queue. As fate would have it, my burger was already cold, so that saved me from having to deliberate eating it hot without my drink versus waiting another 45 minutes for my beer. So would I recommend the experience? Well honestly, No. But if you must try it at least once, wait until one of those once-in-a-half-decade epic 3 hour movies like Dune comes along. I would expect to wait at least 45mins to an hour before actually being served your food, and better pray they get your drink order right. But for me, I'm back to the regular Joe Schmoe theater and sneaking in my own pack of sour patch kids :) read more

Everyone who works there is very friendly and very attentive. They they give you some time to settle down before your order and once you do, you are able to enjoy your movie.
