Service is good, best seat setup for dine in theaters ( has a light that doesn't bother others and helps you actually see your food) and the seats are VERY comfortable, they practically lay flat. I have been twice now. Come early so you can get the full experience. If you come late you will have to order food and drinks at the counter. Waters are high, $8 regardless of still or sparkling for the small size, no 1 liter size here, if they do, I'm not sure of the price. I've only had the popcorn trio with chicken only. Perfect snack for me. They load the chicken bites/ nuggets and add popcorn as well. Again, this is more of a small snack, maybe not that hungry or don't want to over eat the popcorn. $18 which I think is high as well, but good. Popcorn has a good taste too, I would get it by itself if I was just in the mood to indulge in popcorn. read more

The food was great, the service was nice, and the movie was wonderful. I loved the vibe and the environment. I can't wait to visit again. As soon as we sat down, the waiter came to greet us. He gave us food recommendations and walked us through food specials not on the menu. There were actually quite a few options; churrasco steak and short rib caught my eye. Unfortunately the short rib has gluten, so I ordered the steak. We got comfortable while waiting for our food. The seats were very comfortable and reclined to a perfect angle where you can see the movie while still be cozy. The food arrived pretty quickly, just before the movie started. It made it hard to see what I ate, but there's a personal light by each seat to help you. The steak was medium and tender, not too faty. It came with a chimichuri sauce on a bed of rice and beans with two plantain chips. It tasted great, but it would have been nice to get some vegetables or actual plantains with it rather than chips. My friends ordered the burger and wagyu sliders, both came with fries. They said their food tasted great too. In general, I would highly recommend this spot. I love trying dine in cinemas so we were glad to finally be able to visit this one located in the Galleria. I don't find myself going to the mall much but we had to try it after all the things we heard. We went to go buy tickets to see The Fall Guy on a Saturday afternoon. Ticket prices are in line with all the other theaters so no complaints there. The theater we were in wasn't busy at all, maybe 5 or 6 others inside. We got greeted with menus immediately as we sat down and got the menu rundown. We got the Pina Habanero and Blueberry Cucumber Mule to start. Solid drinks, not too strong or weak. They might have one of the fanciest looking theater menus I've ever seen. We ordered the Popcorn Trio, Wagyu Beef Sliders, and the Crispy Chicken Bowl. The Popcorn Trio came out first and was solid. The bites were crispy and not bad for a theater. The Crispy Chicken bowl was ok. Lots of veggies and had a good flavor. The sliders were really good. Great size and the fries were crispy. My only issue was it was a little pricey for what we got but it's pretty expected for a movie theater. For the most part it was a nice experience. The picture and sound were great as were the seats. If you love dine in theaters its definitely worth checking out. Imagine eating the tempura lobster while watching a movie. I'd have to think about it. read more

Thanks to my Yelp friend, Spencer :-) There's a full bar to enjoy basketball games being displayed on the mounted TVs and tables to enjoy a meal. CineBistro is inside Tyson's II; so, if you're familiar with the area, you know what to expect. I don't know when movie theater food became "top tier," but CineBistro is on to something! Came here on a Friday night. Guest made a reservation online. All he had to do was scan the QR code and present our tickets to the hostees. Be mindful tho, if you want to sit with a person, the online reservation doesn't tell you which seats are split or seated together or not. It was easy enough for us to request seats together after we discovered they were split initially Seats recline almost 180 lol. Comfortable, plenty of arm rests. There's about 3 cup holders to share. Unfortunately, my friends chair did not recline at all Theres even a little light at each seat that you can use to view the menu. Order food before the movie, and it gets brought to your assigned seat. Anything else that you want during the movie, you can go to a window in the hallway to place other orders for food/drinks We sat in Row F, around seats 9. CinéBistro was great in terms of a movie-going experience but as far as the food went it left a bit to be desired. In terms of the movie experience, the theater was very nice and clean. The seats were comfortable and equipped with a small light and tray table so that you can eat while watching the movie. The theater staff were very friendly. They came and took everyone's order about 30 minutes before the movie started and made sure that everyone in the theater was taken care of. In terms of the food, the menu is small compared to a restaurant but has a good number of options for a movie theater. I ordered the "CMX Burger" and the cookies and cream milkshake. The burger was good and came with a side of fries. The milkshake, unfortunately, was not great and tasted like freezer-burned ice cream. My main issue, however, was that while the food came out quickly, the drinks did not come out until about 20 minutes after the food. This includes water. When I asked about the drinks, I was told the theater was backed up with orders which I understand but I feel that water (especially tap water) could be served with the food if not before. In terms of price, I feel that getting dinner and paying for the movie ticket was similar to the cost of going out to dinner at an average restaurant and then going to the theater. So, the convince of being able to get dinner and a movie in one place was enjoyable. Overall, the experience at CinéBistro was good. I do hope they improve the dining experience a bit though. Probably one of the best movie experiences I have ever had with the Dbox seats. I highly highly recommend watching Dune 2 in those seats. I felt so immersed that I was in the movie with the synchronized movements and shaking of the chairs. The one downside of this was the food and the delivery. I didn't realize that they would charge an extra $3 just to deliver to my seat. If I had known, I would've shown up earlier. I ordered the shrimp linguine and it was very bland and lacked any seasoning. I got the same with scallops for my boyfriend and they upcharged $7 for the substitution but his tasted way better than mine even though it was the same dish. Came here on discount Tuesday to watch Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Originally got tickets via the app and had to pay $2.99 service fee on each ticket, on top of the discounted $5.00 price, but then discovered D-Box moving seats and decided to upgrade to that. It was around $16 on discount Tuesday. The moving seats were cool, but I don't think I'd pay for it again. The movie theater is pretty new, and offers food delivered right to you seat. Checked out the newest luxury theater and it was a win all around! My ticket was cheap so check out the showtimes they may have diff pricing . The theater is still pretty new, so it was clean and had that new feel. I loved the seating that had a little divider between the pair of chairs and a light for viewing menu once lights go down. Reclining chairs are always a win in my book The food and drink menu was pretty good and I just went with an appetizer which came out quick and was tasty. More space between seats and rows than the typical theater with recliner seats. Wouldn't feel crowded even for a sold out show. Servers were friendly and efficient. This is one of my favorite theaters. The service is usually great, the theaters are somewhat clean (there have been a few times that the seats were not clean before arriving). My biggest issue is the bathroom. There are two bathrooms and they're almost NEVER clean. I was here on 1/4/26 for a 10pm show and every toilet in BOTH of the women bathrooms needed to be flushed. Every last one of them. I had to use the bathroom in the actual mall because the theater bathrooms were so disgusting. I truly hope that they get this together. Tyson's Galleria is home of quite a few luxury stores, so the movie theater in the same mall being dirty is not good. read more

Be sure to get there early if you want to order from their menu, which is pretty extensive for a theater. They have many options for food and drinks. Our server forgot to come back to finish our order and ended up giving us a free large popcorn to enjoy during the movie. They add an automatic 18% gratuity to the bill, which is cool. Front of house staff was nice and helpful. We bought tickets ahead but you still have to get them printed. They have HH til 6 at the main bar but we went in and ordered food within. What the website doesn't warn you is that the seats are grouped in two- I had to move my seat because I was about to sit really closely in a two person box with a stranger. The movie theater was cool and the movie sound was great. My gripe was the fact they put on 18% gratuity and still show you more gratuity on top of the added gratuity. In a semi lit theater they easily catch you off guard and charge you more. I ended up double tipping and the guy still had an attitude and didn't even say hello. The fries were ok but the butter popcorn had a weird flavor and two sliders were $23. read more

I prefer this movie/dinner experience compare to the Alamo. They have a system in place where you arrive 30 mins before the start of the movie to order and pay for your food. That way the dine in process is taken care of before the movie starts. This creates less distractions so you get to enjoy your full movie experience as well. Food is descent, not great. I liked the lobster tempura and caesar salad topped with anchovies. The wagyu sliders were tasty. I didn't like the popcorn with the fried combination of chicken, calamari, and shrimp. The idea sounds amazing but the actually dish was kind of bland where the sauce didn't make much of a difference. Seats are super comfy but a tap on light in case you need it. It reclines perfectly well and it made a big difference in my movie experience. Service was also awesome. The servers were warm and explained the whole process thoroughly. I was blown away by our experience at cinebistro! We went on a Wednesday mid day and were the only people which may have spoiled us, but it made our first experience that much sweeter! They thought of everything from the luxury reclining seats to the reading light for your menu! Upon arrival into the theater, we were greeted by our waiter, where we were asked if we wanted to order from the menu. We ordered a bottle of wine and the chicken bowl. We loved both! If you get the chicken bowl, I would recommend asking for extra sauce, either on the side or on the dish already. The staff was amazing and we really got a catered experience! When you order in the theater, you will be charged for the service but it's definitely worth it. If you don't want to pay the service fee/tip, I would recommend making your orders at the concessions window. Definitely recommend! read more

Located inside Tyson's galleria mall it was my second time visiting yesterday since this theater opened. Parking around the mall is fairly easy to get. Since I purchased the ticket via app, so I didn't use the kiosk service over there, they just printed me my ticket. The theater from inside is quite decent. Those recliner seats and small two seat cubicles are very nice. When it comes to food service, I was greeted by Adriana, at the door to help me with my order. She was very nice and knowledgeable. I ordered wagyu beef sliders with truffle fries, Brussels sprouts and a soda. My check was $54 which I thought was a little excessive, and I also added tip of $10, making it $64. Later upon my close look I saw the 18.5% gratuity was already added on the check. I hope I was told or I knew or atleast I read it on the check. I got my meal fairly quickly but sadly I wasn't given any napkins or cutlery for which I had to walk to the concierge, they were sorry about it and I said ok. Also no soda was delivered to my seat. Concierge gave it to me and I was able to get two glasses of soda at one time so that I don't have to come back for it. One recommendation for food service since you are charging gratuity atleast check on the seat one more time to see if we need anything else. Overall fair experience. Brussels sprouts were nice but way too oily, no complaint with my wagyu sliders and truffle fries they were quite good. I will come next time but will not order food cause I believe it's unnecessarily high price. read more

I have visited this theatre twice since opening! Neither time have I been disappointed! I have seen both Creed 3 and The Covenant here The establishment is in the Tysons Galleria and relatively new. It seems to still have low usage, low traffic and even low visibility to the public. The theatre's are clean, the venue has plenty of open space, and makes you feel you are at more than a movie theatre. The customer service can be a hit or miss. The employees are always nice and have great manners, but don't seem to speak up or seem like they enjoy their job. The food is pricey, but that is to be expected. The quality is great for a theatre. Brussel Sprouts - amazing overall. They had a bit too much oil, but it didn't ruin texture. just too much sauce for the dish. Lobster tail- One Word...phenomenal! Meaty and creamy! You wouldn't think you were in a movie theater based on the quality of the dish. Popcorn Trio- Interested concept, but a big miss. Nothing truly special but a combination of popcorn, calamari, shrimp, and chicken. I did ask for there to be no shrimp, but sadly they didn't remove the shrimp. Luckily I didn't consume. This is the main reason why they did not get a 5 star since I am allergic to shrimp. Wagyu Sliders- Flavorful and Filling! Their burgers have not disappointed! Regular Fries - Crispy and addicting. This was my first time coming here on 7/3/2023 to watch the Indiana Jones movie and here is my assessment: Positives: Sign up for their rewards and you get a free movie ticket for your bday. Nice and clean looking theater. If you like vibrations, I recommend sitting at the DBOX section. You can control the level of intensity and these seats also reclines. Staff was friendly. Negatives: A server comes to get your order. I ordered the wagyu sliders and a fountain soda drink. My friend ordered the crispy chicken bowl and coffee. They bring my friend's coffee with just sugar no cream or spoon/stirrer. In the meantime they bring out the rest of our food orders. I had to ask for a spoon for the coffee which I didn't understand why it wasn't brought out with the coffee and literally waited 20 minutes? We also didn't have utensils until our food came out but that only had a knife and fork with no spoon. The wagyu sliders were not bad but it was cold and so was the fries and I was disappointed. My friend's crispy chicken bowl was also cold. I am not sure if it was ready from before but it took too long to bring it put to us? The server automatically charges 18.5% gratuity to your bill. I have an issue with this considering that they (others not the person who took the order) only bring the items to you before the movie starts and not during the movie. It is your responsibility to get your refills on your own. You would have to leave the movie just to go to the food area for drink or popcorn refill. Why am I paying for gratuity when they are not even servicing you during the movie? They said they don't want to disrupt the movie but it's no different when other people are getting up out of their seat and blocking your view of the movie. Make sure to give your reward number when you order anything. They don't ask you for it so when i got home I didn't realize that ordering the food counts as points on their site. I had to email my receipt and customer service were able to add the points manually to my account. I personally wouldn't order any food from here next time but I do like their theater and seats. They are located in Tyson's Galleria on the 3rd floor on the end of the mall, the same side as Bowlero. There is plenty of free surface and garage parking around the mall. read more

Finally tried out CMX and we thought it was great! We'll definitrly come back. Perfect for a date night. We had the lobster tempura (Amazing!), shrimp florentine linguine (delicious! a bit salty for me), beef tenderloin (didn't feel piping hot, arrived room temp), wagyu sliders (a little on the dry side). Pros: Ticket process was simple. The sound for the movie was great. The seat dividers were a nice touch. You can order as much as you want, theres about 3 cup holders per seat lol. Cons: Some theatres operate differently and some will bring food to you during the movie whenever you want. At CMX they do take orders from drinks all the way down to desserts so that way you have everything for the movie and don't have to step outside. By ordering a bunch of things all at once food can get cold esp in the theatre. Tips: - If you get cold easily, bring a sweater. There are no seat warmers. - Arrive 30 mins early so you can put in your order for food and drinks. Some people arrived close to show time and expected servers to still take orders. By then, you will have to place your orders outside. read more

It's seems like when you try to hard to be an "upscale" experience it's simply - "Doing Too Much". I'll give CMX a solid 2.5 but since I can't do a half point, I'm rounding down based on the service or lack of service we received. We arrived to menus and utensils on the tray. We waited a good 10 min to try to order, but no one came. We saw about 3 different staff members coming in, taking orders, and delivering food/drinks. I flagged down one man and he basically said it was supposed to be another man to take my order. He never showed up. It was a nearly 3 hour movie. We were seated about 10 minutes before the start and nothing. It's a little frustrating when all the other patrons are being attended to and you've attempted to reach out to staff and you still don't receive any service. For that reason, I'll probably continue to make the drive to Bethesda to the iPic. I don't want this review to be a comparison to the iPic but... The seats are comfortable and I like the setup for the tables. Also, the middle armrest comes up so you can get close with your mate (unlike the iPic :-/). However, there was no call button for the staff for you to order. The bathrooms were cleaner but none of the soap dispensers had soap. Again, it has the potential to be a nice theater but the lack of service and soap in the facilities make it a hard no. read more

If you don't order prior too or within 10mins of the movies starting you have to order outside. Looks like a full bar very clean in appearance. I like this place but today i had a terrible experience. I got here while previews were on and i was told the waiters were no longer taking orders which was fine but the waiters wouldn't even come when you call them which was terrible service. I then ordered my food at the bar and no one brought me napkins. I paid a gratuity for ordering food no one returned to even offer a to go box had to go get that myself too. Why exactly am i paying gratuity when I'm not being served? Pretty bad experience no sure what's going on here but the waiters aren't helpful at all very disappointed read more

We stopped in at 8:55 pm on a Friday evening for our 9:30 pm showing and had an absolute blast! All sections of the venue were clean and food/beverages were delivered promptly! Highly recommend trying their artichoke cakes--as a vegetarian I was beyond excited to see so many accommodating options Lastly, make sure to review the theatre's instructions prior to your arrival. They note to arrive 30 minutes prior to your showtime if you plan on ordering beverages and food from your seat! We will definitely be back in the coming weeks. Love love love This was our first time here, I used to work at this mall 8 years ago and remember when this area was Macy's Now they have a bowling alley, a crate and barrel, and a whole movie theater !!! The theater was clean, nice, plenty of space, bar, and the food 10 out of 10 even for a movie theater ! Apparently they've been here two years it's probably why everything was so phenomenal lol nobody really knows about them yet but definitely will be returning. The chairs were very comfortable. Loved how they had a personal light. We literally ordered our food while the previews were going and had our food before the movie started Food is a little expensive but it was good. I ordered both of my daughters popcorn chicken with french fries. I had a Asian dish it was chicken with sesame seeds rice I believe it was carrots and ginger. It was so delicious.
