The storefront was minimalistic--just a small lobby with a door to a warehouse (employees only) and a flight of stairs leading up to...somewhere. There were two display cases against the wall, and they contained mostly cosmetic parts (fairlady z badge, jdm honda badge, a couple of shift knobs [including a ctr shift knob!], pedals, a boot or two...). A young gentleman came to assist me and, after hearing why I was there, went into the warehouse and returned with some Blox knobs for me to check out. I had assumed that the other shift knobs available for ordering on their website would be in stock, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Oh well. I asked about Razo knobs, and though they didn't have any in stock, the salesperson was kind enough to walk us over to another employee's car so I could have a look at what the Razo looked like installed. Anyway, the Blox was pretty much what I was looking for, and he gave me a good price (woohoo, no shipping charges), so I took it. Of all the places, I called, this guy was the cheapest and only charged me $40 for the housing cover. Other places were charging more than double, and if I went through a Toyota dealer, I would've paid around $400 just for the parts. Anyway, when I went there, I noticed he also had a repair shop in the back, so I asked him how much he'd charge to install it. He gave me a very, very fair price. He also noticed my air filter sensor was damaged, and even repaired that for a nominal fee. After looking around his yard, he fortunately found one, so I opted to also get that fixed at the same time. Anyway, service was great and prices were more than fair for the parts. He's only had the shop for 5 years, although the shop has been around for a much longer time. If you read bad reviews before the 5 year mark, it probably wasn't this guy. I'm glad I found him and will definitely use him again if I need parts for my 2002 Toyota Camry.

My uncle had been coming to Redbox to service his Honda for over a decade already, recommended me, and seeing the 4.2 star review that backed up this shop I was ecstatic. I had a very simple wiring issue, my positive terminal harness cable snapped. Bought a replacement for $25, easy job, but I had injured my thumb and my nail broke off. I figure I'll just come to my uncles recommended shop. First red flag, talking over you on the phone, I kept trying to explain the issue and the cause: my battery was loose, and snapped the wire, but the owner of the shop just kept cutting me off never letting me get there. I told myself it's fine, I get it we have a language barrier. It's the same thing with my family, no worries. I show up the next day, waved hi to the owner, we smiled, I walked up to the buzz cut Asian man, I told him exactly what I needed. He looks at the wire look at my broken harness and says," this is not the right part." He walks away handing me back my harness. I felt so stupid, so I started comparing the part to the car. it was the right part. I measured every single connection. I bought the god damn right part. I walked back to the Asian man, "hey I did purchase the right part" and he then he finally realized. Afterwards he hands the owner the wire, owner goes," Just f*king take off his fuse box and connect this there!" Walks to me "$120?" I say are you serious? "Ok Good Bye" waves me off and walks away laughing. That was the most disrespectful I've ever been treated by a mechanic. I stormed towards him but wary of his age, I calmed myself I asked him," why were you so nice on the phone, and very willing to work on my car with your son, but when I show up you give me this treatment?" He explains, " that is not the issue, we need to get paid, it doesn't matter how cheap you buy the part or from where, we need to get paid" I understand, it's a very simple job, I understand it's laughable, I understand the job is too simple, but I did not deserve that treatment. Okay, so I looked up the price for a new one and almost had a heart attack! My car is a 2005 Acura RL, and the part cost well over $3500.00! So, I decided to take a chance and buy a used one off of eBay, for about $340.00. But, I still needed to get it installed...well, why not? Okay, so I had not been to this shop before, but because the estimate is free, I stopped by to get one. The owner told me he'd do it for $200.00, which is what I was thinking it would cost to have it installed. So, we made arrangements to have the work done on 12/26/2025. When I dropped the car off, I also asked to have the power steering pump checked for leaks. He said he will check that out and let me know. A little while later he called and said the reservoir had a crack and the part would cost only $50.00. I asked how much for the labor and he said, "no charge, since he had to remove it to get to the VSA module". WOW! That's what I call an honest, reliable owner! Only had to pay for the part! So, since he could get the part right away, I said to go ahead and replace it. The VSA module was also replaced the same day, and my car was good to go. I liked this place so much, that my better half brought her car here for servicing as well. She asked him to also check for an oil leak. He found it and said it would be an additional $90 to fix the leak by replacing the part. Very reasonable we thought, so she told him to do the work. Her car was finished in a timely manner, and all work done was very reasonably price, and he charged the price he quoted. So far, neither of us has had any problems with the service that was done. Both cars work great, and will be back when future servicing is needed. I highly recommend this business!
