Wow! This place was awesome!! My wife and I received several recommendations recently from other Yelpers to go and check this place out and we are sure glad we did! We decided to visit for during our lunch break on a Friday. We were seated immediately and our waiter was over shortly thereafter. We had already had previewed the menu prior and were ready to order right away. We decided to start with the spicy crab rangoons which were fantastic! The Thai sweet chili sauce they were served on tasty and the rangoons themselves were bite size and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the drunken Thai noodles with chicken and I decided to go with the masa ramen with miso chili. The food arrived shortly after we finished our app and we dug in. Man o man, was the food amazing! Word to the wise, come hungry, the portions were large. The ramen bowl was full of tasty broth, noodles veggies and pork. The addition of the chili to spice it up a bit was spot on. I got to taste my wife's drunken noodles and they were also delicious. Luckily she got full and decided to tap out and leave me a bit to finish off! The only negative part of our experience was the waiter had an accident with a nearby table, which delayed us getting our check and getting back to work in time. This is definitely HANDS DOWN the best!!!! The waiters/waitresses are very nice and friendly. I have gone for both lunch and dinner at different times of the day as well as different days of the week and even though they are busy they get you seated in a timely manner. LOVE the ambiance and decor which is ALWAYS a plus when dining in. We ordered the pork and ginger gyoza as well as the spicy crab rangoons as an appetizer. They are bite size which is always perfect (because no one looks cute trying to stuff a regular sized crab Rangoon in their mouth) the portions are great as they are enough for you to enjoy and also have room for your entree. For our entree we had the Korean rice bowl and the spicy tuna roll, the rice bowl is a lot of food so come hungry!!! and don't even get me started on how good the sushi is I'll probably have to start a new review for that in itself (but really how many characters can I fit on this review?.....seriously how many...) Food has always been great here, however our waiter seemed to not care about us at all. I repeatedly had to ask other employees for things (and I HATE doing that). Really hit or miss depending on the night and the wait staff. Cherry is the only server I would give all give all five stars to. Anytime we have had her it is a different and far better experience. The service was mediocre the wait staff needs to be train better. When we first got there it seemed nice but it quickly changed when we place an order for pork belly buns we asked for one without cilantro and then the waiter approached us and told us we had to tell her these things when the order came out despite us clearly telling her we did not want cilantro. While we ordered our main course then came back like 15 min after we order to tell us that they ran out of wagyu beef and we needed to change our order. Once we ate and got the check we didn't notice that they still over charged us for the items that we did not have or were unable to get. When we mentioned to the waiter she told us we should have told her that she messed up on the check which we found that was very rude on her part even though she came to us to tell us that the items we order were not avl. My wife and I frequent CO. The Pad Thai and Curry Laksa are two of our favorites. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

NEED BETTER WINE! I love the food at CO. The Ramen is great and the Kimchi dumplings are very unique and tasty. I also like their homemade hot sauce. The ambiance and decor are good too. There are many times, however, that we choose to go someplace else entirely because their wine selection is terrible. I'm not sure who is picking the wine (red) but we have tried all of them and they are all either too sweet or have a medicine like after taste. We are not that picky and are just looking for a decent red wine. Maybe let some of the staff choose some favorites next time the distributor comes in. read more

What can I say...I really like this restaurant! This was my second visit...IDK why I hadn't written a review. On my first visit, I was overwhelmed with choices, so I asked a fellow foodie for advice. She suggested the Hanoi noodles...it was spectacular! The prickly pear margarita was exquisite. Too bad it wasn't in the menu this trip! Sometimes I become a creature of habit and order the same dish, but for this visit I ordered the tuna tacos as an appetizer and the Thai green curry with shrimp for my entree. My dinner companion ordered the crab rangoons and curry laksa. The food was amazing and delicious. We even took some home because we couldn't finish. To complete the culinary experience, we each had a carafe of sake! Some may complain about pricing, but good and cheap don't always go together. The service on both visits was stellar. This time, we ventured here on a lazy Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Beautiful atmosphere and decor...very trendy. Our server was funny, helpful and attentive. CO is a great addition to Charlotte. I was hungry for a late lunch after shopping in the area and wanted some takeout. They offer takeout toward the left of the bar. It only took ten minutes to get our food. We ordered the Shanghai Chicken Wontons, Pork Belly Buns and the Korean Short Rib Banh Mi. I was checking out what the people ordered and the ramen looked pretty satysfying. There was also a hot sauce on each table that appeared to be homemade. It reminded me of the garlic chili paste I have in my fridge. The guy gave me a cup to go and if you eat there, make sure to try some. I don't know why I expected the buns to be steamed because they were actually buns almost like a savory doughnut. The pork inside was generous and flavorful. I think the wontons were nice but would have been yummier fresh. Again, my order was to go so that's all on me. The bread is crunchy on the sandwich. I'm Fairly certain it was toasted. The seating inside was fairly ample. The bar with the gorgeous wood structure is circular and people were eating lunch there at that counter/bar. My favorite part about my dining experience here was my fascination with the architecture of the restaurant. Other than that, everything else is bad. Service wise, the host wasn't welcoming at all. We only saw our server twice, once to take down our order and the last time was for our check. The person that brought out our food didn't seem like he was well trained as he spilled our entrees on the table. Here is the nitty gritty on the food. My friend and I ordered: Thai Chili Chicken Wings Kimchi dumpling Bun Bo Hue Curry Laska Papaya Salad If you're Vietnamese, you will be disappointed. All of their food had a strong perfume taste and smell to it! Especially the papaya salad! It tasted like soap! My friend and I both had a bite and the scent was so strong we had to ask one of the servers to take it off our table. This place really love their lemongrass because almost all of the dishes had it and it was so overwhelming. The dumpling was good and it tasted fresh but not good enough for me to come back for it again. Some dishes just isn't meant to be changed or "infused". I was truly blown away with this restaurant! I'm not a big cocktail drinker but their options sounds so delicious and I wasn't let down. The service was really great at the bar. When my group got moved to a table (and they got way busier) our server got a little distant but other employees were there to assist with our needs. Most importantly is the food. My mom is from Thailand so I am really picky when it comes to Asian cuisine but I was really blown away! Everything was delicious. We had dumplings, pork belly sushi, spicy tune sushi and spring rolls. Definitely making ourselves a regular here.
