The food was excellent, as usual. I ordered the Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese Crepe) stuffed with shrimp and pork, and it was fantastic--crispy, flavorful, and generously filled. I also had the lemongrass beef rice paper rolls with peanut sauce, which were equally outstanding. The quality and authenticity of the food keep me coming back. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of a couple of small dining room issues. Several of the tables are wobbly and could use repair or replacement. Also, the practice of leaving the menu standing upright on the table throughout the meal creates an unnecessary visual barrier, making conversation across the table more awkward than it needs to be. I was super excited to try this place, but unfortunately I don't think we will return. I got the spicy beef noodle soup, which not only wasn't spicy at all, it lacked a lot of flavor. I put chili oil, soy sauce, hoisin, and salt/pepper in it and that helped a bit, but I've had soups with a lot more flavor. My son's wings were pretty good, nice and crispy and flavorful. The rice bowl had fresh veggies and yummy lemongrass beef, but nothing worth returning for. The service was fine, the inside was light and bright yet cozy. This is an incredibly popular Vietnamese restaurant in Southern Mooresville. You can sit and eat, and it's a nice spot with comfortable seating and quality decoration, but it's mostly takeout. This has nothing to do with the atmosphere--which is excellent--it's about people from everywhere wanting their food. My food experience here was really good. I can't say amazing but I got stuck in traffic on the way home and it wasn't hot by the time I got home. This is obviously not the restaurant's fault. I also was enjoying the noodle soup until I put that stuff in it (didn't sit well with me). Sorry, I forgot what 'that stuff' was called. I'll fire again for sure. Finally found a decent pho restaurant! It's spacious, clean, and has a vibrant interior with tasteful artwork covering the walls. There's plenty of seating, especially if you like booths. Our waitress was very attentive and stopped by our table several times over the course of the meal. We ordered pho ga and pho me da biet. Both tasted very fresh with almost no excess oil/grease that typically accumulate on the top of the broth. The bowls were hearty with generous portion sizes, including heaping sides of steamed bean sprouts (we recently started asking for those to be steamed). Would like to see more variety of meats in the da biet. Usually it comes with tendons and tripe so I was surprised that it only came with meatballs and slices of beef. The pho ha was also a bit bland with not a lot of color or other noticeable ingredients besides the chicken meat and noodles. Prices seemed a bit steep (comparable to San Francisco prices where we moved from). Side note: I travel quite a bit for work and this place charges a premium compared to major cities up north. read more

Was in the mood for some pho and saw this spot on Yelp. So decided to try it out. It was ON POINT...even as a to-go order! It was definitely 5 stars for me! Inside the restaurant, it has a very trendy look to it. There is seating all around, both inside and outside. I had ordered my food to-go and it was ready as soon as I got there. It has pretty decorations and spacious seating. The staff is nice and were pretty quick about helping us. The service is good. I got the kids meatball pho, it was a good amount and I had to ask for the veggies on the side with it since it didn't come with it, but I don't know if they charge me for it because I didn't see my itemized receipt. I was just given a total. I also got the stir fry shrimp and it was good as well. I wished the onions were more cooked was my only thing. The rice is pretty dried though. I think they had a good mixed of things but it's definitely not authentic. More on the Americanized end which is not really my flavor considering I am Asian and grew up on Asian food.
