Food was delicious and staff was soooo friendly and accommodating. Had my toddler with me and they brought her a toy and chopstick helpers without us asking for anything. Inside is decorated nicely and very peaceful. Will be back

Saturday afternoon, made plans to stop in and check it out (off peak lunch time -2pm-ish). They were moderately busy... for good reason! Had the Black ramen and it was . Gone in 60 seconds but super flavorful and delicious!! We also had the fried shrimp shu mai with dipping sauce... piping hot and delicious!! Our server was super friendly and took care of us. Actually the entire staff really took care of us and you can tell in the food as well. A lot of love, passion, and great ingredients go into all their entire menu. Location wise, this place is definitely a "sleeper" place just because it's tucked back in Stonecrest across from the movie theater. The dining room is cozy but there are booths and tables.... Small outdoor dining area with a handful of tables too. Overall a great place to get great ramen! Just wished it was closer but again, I would be here daily getting ramen.

We will arrive Friday night at 8 PM and there was a full restaurant, but we seated immediately. My only complaint is that it took a minute for our server to come, but I think it's because they only had a few people working. However, they made it up with how fast our order came out and the amazing quality of it all. Not the only that, but also our server, Kevin, was absolutely amazing. My favorite part? The decor and set above the restaurant. It is intimate yet not claustrophobic. You could go for a family dinner or a date night.

I wonder why they had so much clutter up front?? Just did not make a good impression as you walked in. Then the music...it's no longer K-Pop, but Rap (or heavier Hip Hop?). I've never been to a KBBQ restaurant that didn't play K-Pop...so that was a bit offputting (for me). Not only did it betray the theme of the restaurant (K-Pot??), I just thought it made the vibe feel a bit too hard and intense...not as chill and relaxing as before. Then the menu. Seemed that they got rid of the desktop menu...which I kinda liked. With my verbal orders, there were some mistakes. They brought out 2 orders of Spicy Fish and 2 orders of Calamari...which just made the table busier than it needed to be. Still, my waitress was fairly attentive...so no issues after that. I ordered my fave items...Spicy Bulgogi, Beef Brisket, Spicy Fish and Calamari, along with Pineapple and Broccoli. Plus, there's the AYCE table with side dishes and sauces...which made the whole experience busier than it needed to be?? Still, one of the strengths of this place is its abundance of side veggies! I enjoyed the meal...but I missed a few options normally found in more authentic Korean BBQ restaurants. Unfortunately, I felt that the ambiance was way off this time (messy entrance, harsh overhead music)...plus I think the A/C was off (or on too low). Sorry, but must dock a star this time.

Let me start with the positives. I liked the spacious layout, and the cool artwork. There were…read moreplenty of seatings too. I also liked how loud the overhead music was...but sadly, it was elevator music. Very dated. If it was something a bit more contemporary (metro lounge?), it would have been way nicer. Now, the food! I ordered their Doza Ramen, which looked spicy from the pictures...but I ended up with a very mild broth, with hardly any red chile sauce or spice to it at all. I even asked if they can add more chili and/or spice to it, and the waitress basically said that's not possible (What?!? Of course you can!!). Anyway, she said I can add Siracha sauce. (???) Guess she assumed this was the first time I had ramen lol?!? The Pork Chashu was nice and tender, but very small portion...and a tiny portion of ground pork (of beef?) and mushroom as well. Just skimpy toppings all around...yet this bowl was priced 18 bucks. I also hated how they didn't even bother to split open the egg. Also, I wasn't a fan of their super-thin noodles either. Just look at how unappetizing this bowl looked! So basically, this ramen struck out on several accounts. Possibly the weakest ramen I've had in a restaurant in years?? I managed to down at least one third of it though. Then this Sampler Tempura. While the portion of plentiful, I thought the batter was weak...and well, some of the veggie tempura just tasted BAD. Especially the Brussel Sprouts (which I normally love) had this sour taste to it? I was also disappointed that they didn't include Broccoli in the mix. I was only able to eat half of this. Just not that good. I just can't sugarcoat it. I was not into their ramen or this sampler tempura. Both too mild...very bland. Also...they charge you an additional dollar if you use credit card. Something I don't recall seeing on the menu. Given such high ratings from Yelp, I had high hopes for this place...but I left scratching my head. I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.

It's very rare for me to do a review and not have pics to accompany it but from entrance to exit I don't think I liked my phone up once. Coworker's company was great but the food really made for a great experience. In addition to that having my coworker speak to the culture of the food made it all the more appreciated. I definitely can't say enough good words about the food and the service and the overall experience. Five stars is all I can give but if there were more this restaurant would well deserve it. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served! I have eaten here many times and I have tried virtually everything on the menu. With that said, here is my take on it. Everything that I have tried has been delicious! For cold appetizers, I am a big fan of the Black Fungus W. Vinegar Sauce, Cold Spicy Sour Cucumber and the Spicy Beef Tendon. For hot appetizers, everyone raves about the Popcorn Chicken and I concur that it's very good! I really like the Frled Pork Gyoza too. For the main course, they have some rice dishes, but the main focus is the hot pot soups. They bring out a 300°F Stone bowl of broth (in an insulated pot holder) and the ingredients to put in it. You put the meat and lettuce in first, then the other ingredients and the noodles last then wait for "10 seconds"thus the name of the restaurant. I have tried all of the broths and they are all good depending on your tastes. The original broth is the bass broth. Then they add things to the other others to differentiate them. My favorites are the Tomato Soup (especially with Beef Flank) and Spicy Soup. If you like things VERY spicy, they can bring you some cut Thai peppers. The wait staff are patient are very helpful in guiding patrons. They understand that this is a new experience for them. They also pay attention to their customers eating habits. One time when I went in, they noticed that I added lots of chili peppers and chili oil to my food. That's when she said she could bring me some very hot fresh chili peppers. Charlotte is truly blessed to have so many great authentic Chinese body shops popping up all over town! I highly recommend this place! Cheers!

Once we got there we were sat down immediately. Once seated our server, very polite Spanish young woman came to greet us and took our orders. The server even recommended a kids meal for our daugther. So far so good. Our food comes and we realized we have no utensils and my daughter's noodles had no broth in it. It was dry noodles. The server comes back asked us if we needed anything and we said yes can we have some utensils please? A fork and some chopsticks and broth for my daughters noodles. They are dry. She says sure no problem and leaves. Now while we are waiting two Spanish women we seated behind us. In the time we were waiting the two guest behind us placed their orders and got their food. When the server comes back she hands us 3 pairs of chopsticks and garlic. Walks back to the two women and hands one of them a fork. Still no fork or broth my daughter's noodles. My wife had to pour the broth from her ramen into our daughter's bowl so she can eat. The server comes back again with 3 GOT DAMN SPOONS and says she couldn't find any more forks. So in the entire restaurant theirs not ONE FORK. I said but you just gave those customers a fork. Pointing to the guest behind us. She says sorry and walks over to the guest behind us. The server starts talking to the guest in Spanish but little does she know I speak Spanish. The server starts complaining about us to the guest saying that we're asking for too many things and we need to shut up and just eat our food. when I told my wife that they're talking about us, she immediately asked for the manager we explained our situation and the manager immediately comped our meal. Terrible experience. Atleast we didn't have to pay for it.
