The service is TERRIBLE! Went twice, thinking perhaps the first time that the bad was just a fluke. The first time the waitress literally forgot about us. Our sushi took an hour and 15 minutes to get to us. And then it was warm. UGH. The second time I went in by myself. The hostess told me I was not allowed to have a table for one - I had to eat at the bar. The bar was PACKED and I was squished in between two parties. People were all around me, pushing up to get drinks. If I came in with three people would they not seat me at a table for four? The sushi is just okay. Good food at great food prices. Stopped in for HH/Dinner. First time here so hh is a great time to sample several things. It did NOT disappoint. The tuna taco was savory, sweet and a touch spicy. You get one for $4. Definitely worth it. Very small spicy, sweet, crab Rangoon, but probably the best I have had. The filling was bursting. You usually get all wonton no filling. This was more filling less wonton. Our dinner was mind blowing delicious! We actually did not go at the best time. We went on Thursday around 6:30, and it was packed! We realized aka forgot that they have wonderful happy hour specials until 7:00, and they also have happy hour specials on Tuesday and Thursday for sushi. We ended up getting two regular sushi rolls and then tried a pressed sushi roll, which we never had before...it was ridiculously great! We ordered the pressed salmon with lemon aioli and it was the so refreshing and just different...eat the small lemon slice! We also got the Tiger, which was really great, and the Spicy Tuna Crunch. Last night I figured I would try it to go online . The shrimp Pad Thai I ordered of the five shrimp I received 2 were very cold and the other three were barely warm. It had a lot of chopped onions and a lot of lemongrass stems which were impossible to eat. I like onions but this was extreme even for me. My wife had chicken pad Thai - which was not cold, but had the same issue with the onions and lemongrass. I discovered this restaurant on Yelp and I'm so thankful for the experience. Walked in at 9pm and was promptly greeted my several waiters. We selected our seat and Rob came over, greeted us again, and helped us with recommendations. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. He went above and beyond in answering questions. He checked in on us repeatedly and we truly had a great experience. As for the food, it was delicious. It was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We had a great time, the poor servers do a great job in a small restaurant. The LEMON ROLL is amazing! Hands down one of the best rolls I ever had. I even considered grabbing one for the ride home just to have the chance to eat it again. The jalapeño guava margarita on the menu is very good as well. The sushi was made so beautifully and tasted SO good. The atmosphere was Vibrant, with unique lighting and decor. Very hip vibes. Do be warned- it's not the place for an intimate corner booth- the tables are all very close together and there is not a lot of opportunity for privacy. More a place where you go to meet people, share in the atmosphere, and some great tables for large groups. The bar area is also a great seating option. They have bar hooks for your purses! When they got to our table he dropped my water glass on the table. Left me with that same glass, that ended up getting cracked. We ended up having to clean the table ourselves. We ordered dumplings, ramen, pho, and two sushi rolls. The sushi was good. The dumplings were good. The ramen, by far the worst under seasoned undercooked noodles (my noodles were still clumped together) mint and onion smell strong broth (or really water because that's what it tasted like mint water) the pork was nice though. The pho was heavy on mint, and also lacking serious seasonings. Not worth the price, there is definitely better ramen and pho elsewhere. They don't have all of the traditional/classic sushi rolls, but the ones they have are absolutely phenomenal. Happy hour!! Excellent food. Our neighbor suggested this place. We decided to give it a try. It was incredible. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Kung Fu crunch and the Crab Rangoon. We are vegans and we love to eat!! The vegan sushi here is really good. We usually get the fried tofu sushi and the lemon hibachi tofu. They also have avocado and cucumber rolls. The star of the restaurant is the Co Sauce. OMG, it is amazing!! How amazing?? We've bought 3 bottles at $12 a piece and loved each drop of the delicious sauce! Great place to go for happy hour. There are plenty of drinks and small plates for $3-5 dollars. We had a hefty meal for 2 with a drink each for about $40 before tip. What would we order again? Steamed edamame ($3), California roll ($4 and very good for a California roll), and Malaysian chili wings ($5). The Maki rolls are also $5 for happy hour, but we weren't super impressed with the salmon or tuna maki rolls or the edamame gyoza. We went for a second California roll... and we were plenty full. Next time, we'd swap the maki rolls and gyoza with either a Makimono roll or one of the noodles dishes. Despite what the reviews said, the service was fantastic. It may have had something to do with the fact that we went at 5 on a Monday because there weren't too many people there. I see they have 1/2 off Makimona rolls on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so those days are probably more crowded. We would definitely recommend this place! read more

I am now a huge fan! My sashimi platter was divine. The pad thai was extremely well presented and prepared. The maki rolls were perfect, too! So, let's talk about the kimchi dumplings. During this time we understand that service can be spotty, but this was absolutely atrocious. Literally the worst service ever. First they forgot our appetizer until we were half way done with our entree, next at a sushi restaurant they forgot our ginger and wasabi. We sat with empty glasses for 10 mins, after we were done we sat for 10 mins before she came to check on us, and never cleared our very small table full of dirty plates. Finally she brought us our check with our copy to sign with no pen, again we had to wait for her. And if it were busy we would understand but it was 5pm with 4 tables taken and 3 on the outside with 4 waiters and a food runner. At one point when we needed her she was folding napkins. It was not busy in fact it was slow. She only came once to see how we were doing, and this is no cheap place. Our meal for 2 was $75 and no alcohol drinks. We came here on our last night at myrtle beach after having some not so great sushi a few nights before from another restaurant. This place is small and it can be kinda hard to hear the people at your table at times. When we first got in it was very crowded but it died down after about 20 minutes. Our waiter was very kind and helpful to us. We thankfully were able to get the half priced sushi right before it ended. I got 2 crunchy rolls and my friend got one roll and habachi. We got a crunchy spicy tuna app to share and it was amazing!! That was our favorite thing we had. Also the crab rangoons are fantastic! Located in the neat Market Commons area amongst several shops, a movie theater and more, CO Sushi is a great spot for a quick date meal before a movie. The menu is not just Japanese food, and leans towards Asian fusion. Most people who know me know that this is one of my least favorite food genres, but it's okay! The portion sizes were decent, but the prices were a few dollars higher too than expected. We ordered two appetizers- the sambal beef and kimchi dumplings in a delicious sauce (order of 4?) and the crispy spring rolls (two, split in half each) served with nuoc mam. The dumplings had a thick skin, which displeased my eating companion, but you just have to be sure to spoon on more of the sauce. The pad thai was a little nontraditional looking, but tasted great! It was sweeter than some versions, but had good texture of noodles, vegetables, chicken and peanuts. The pho was not bad- the broth had a strong anise taste and was darker than most, but I enjoyed it. Good meat portion and quality. I had to ask for the hoisin and sriracha. Not a bad choice! Dark n peach is my favorite bourbon drink a combination of bourbon, peach nectar, ginger topped with a mint leave. My wife always gets a lemongrass saki. This place is always so busy!! We have been here and few times and love the drink list and eclectic specialty rolls. This is the best sushi I've had in Myrtle beach so far. It's a fairly dark restaurant with a large bar and pretty good amount of outdoor seating. The only issue I've ever had here is that they have a spicy martini on the menu and I was disappointed that they didn't have the togarashi stuffed olives so it was just a regular martini.
